The time frame of the impregnation doesn't matter in your theory because your theory is based on Lynette wanting to live her life and leaving Neil for that reason. She would not have gone back to Neil then, whether she was pregnant or not.
Dude she HAD TO get away from her parents if she plans to be dead to her kid for the rest of her life, otherwise her parents would know and her friends would know. You cannot fake an entire pregnancy.

I hate preppies. I can't wait to troll Jill's mom when the two are introduced. Especially if Jill and the MC are friends. I will do whatever I can to treat Jill's mother in a way that reminds her of Jill's dead sister. :ROFLMAO:

Something occurred to me in this regard. What if Lynette's father hid from the family so that Lynette would have a son. He has hidden the crucial diary from the family in his safe. But is deceased and through inheritance the diary has fallen into the hands of the other family members. They read the diary and learn that Lynette was pregnant by Neil. The last entry in diary is then on the day shortly before the birth.

It is strange that shortly after the MC left for college, the hotel was renovated.
I believe the diary will have significance in the present and one way could be, just as we both said, that it reconnects the MC with the maternal side of his family.

And IF I'm right and Lynette really is alive then I REALLY hope we are given the chance to say "Go fuck yourself!!!" to her, as the MC's turns around and leaves her standing whereever.

But in this theory the MC's grandfather is dead. I wanted to see the MC meet at least his grandfather before the game ends. He doesn't seem to have a living grandmother. If he doesn't have a living grandfather either, will he know who in Lynn's family?

As a fan of Bella and a loyal follower of her route, I'd rather see James alive than Lynn. Please, just don't. It would be horrible if she was alive.

I think the MC will only meet Lynn's friends if he has a romance with Jill. Bianca is Miranda's daughter, isn't she? If the MC doesn't have a romance with Jill he will only know his grandfather.

He always reads the diary and he always meets Bianca at the Halloween party, so he always has all the info he needs. To be honest its so frustrating that the MC didn't put one and one together. Bianca and the woman in that picture from his diary look like clones !

I can't imagine how Miranda or Viv will be introduced to the MC if he isn't Jill's boyfriend. I'm having a hard time imagining how Jill is going to introduce the MC to her mom when they're just friends.

You can still be friends with Jill and the MC only needs her to connect Bianca with him. The rest should be on autopilot.

The problem is that there is a possibility that Jill and the MC are not even friends (if he has a romance with Jill and Bella and chooses Bella and doesn't kiss Jill on the bench). In this scenario, there is no chance that Jill will introduce these people to the MC.

It's true that that specific path could be problematic, but when the MC would explain what it's about, Jill, with her heart of gold, would not deny him that simple favor.

Likewise Jill could arrange Maya's meeting with the Royce's lawyer to be at the Royce house and Fuckface could link her house to Lynette on any route through that too.
God, no! First Sage drags the MC to dinner at her house because of Maya, now Jill drags the MC to Maya's meeting with her lawyer because of Maya. Fuck this shit...

However it could be that Jill plans a fundraiser for her campaign for Lana and invites Fuckface, that invitation could be as a friend or a boyfriend.
I prefer that idea, a bunch of rich people at a party. Many people can be present, like the MC's grandfather.

But that's just it, that was NOT an inheritance. I made a real technical post about it a while ago, lemme find and quote it for you.
Well, Neil and the MC themselves wondered why the inherence came now. If he was turning 18, it could have been explained with him having a trust, but 19 is strange. My guess is that his grandfather tried to keep him from getting anything.
Neil explains that Lynette didn't have much (as I understood it, her father cut her off when she ran away with Neil) so maybe her father became trustee over the MCs inheritance until he turned 18 and then he tried to stop the MC from getting it. Or maybe the trust was set for when he turned 19 (some has an age set).
Or maybe it's just bullshit and the grandfather is playing games. It is weird that he gets it just after joining the school. So maybe his grandfather is connected to the school, saw his grandson there and thought "maybe I should try and connect with him in some way". Could be that he needs an heir and has no other children so he plans to groom his grandson to become one.
There is also the question of how the son of a poor construction worker got into such a college. Many others seem to have somewhat rich and influential parents. How does he pay for it, btw? I don't remember.

I was thinking... This fundraising idea is really good and funny. I can already imagine the MC arriving at the party with Derek, uh... I mean, arriving at the party with Sir Earl Grey. Derek trolling Jill's dad would be the highlight of the episode. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, it's probably the MC's grandfather's way of teasing him with some handouts. Since he is rich, but the MC only deserves a few bucks.

Im having some trouble with the end of the party free roam. The only main task I have left is to talk to Nicole and Lily in the main room as well as Quin in the main room but none of them are clickable. My only main task is to speak to the ghost in the right hallway but they aren't there. I can also speak to Melanie and Sarah in the kitchen and choose to go home with them but decided against it.

Anyone have any ideas? (I meet all requirements for both Nicole/Lily and Quin. There is also no Sage in my bedroom for her path.

I had read here on the forum that the person responsible for the blackout at the Halloween party was the MC's grandfather. It was a way he found to be able to see the MC up close the moment he went down the stairs to check what happened to the energy. If it's true, it's pretty sad to imagine that the MC's grandfather has to do such a thing because he's afraid to approach him in daylight. Is there someone in a wheelchair on the side of the stairs, would that person be the MC's grandfather?
