Well, Neil and the MC themselves wondered why the inherence came now. If he was turning 18, it could have been explained with him having a trust, but 19 is strange. My guess is that his grandfather tried to keep him from getting anything.
Neil explains that Lynette didn't have much (as I understood it, her father cut her off when she ran away with Neil) so maybe her father became trustee over the MCs inheritance until he turned 18 and then he tried to stop the MC from getting it. Or maybe the trust was set for when he turned 19 (some has an age set).
Or maybe it's just bullshit and the grandfather is playing games. It is weird that he gets it just after joining the school. So maybe his grandfather is connected to the school, saw his grandson there and thought "maybe I should try and connect with him in some way". Could be that he needs an heir and has no other children so he plans to groom his grandson to become one.
There is also the question of how the son of a poor construction worker got into such a college. Many others seem to have somewhat rich and influential parents. How does he pay for it, btw? I don't remember.
I was thinking... This fundraising idea is really good and funny. I can already imagine the MC arriving at the party with Derek, uh... I mean, arriving at the party with Sir Earl Grey. Derek trolling Jill's dad would be the highlight of the episode.
Yeah, it's probably the MC's grandfather's way of teasing him with some handouts. Since he is rich, but the MC only deserves a few bucks.

Im having some trouble with the end of the party free roam. The only main task I have left is to talk to Nicole and Lily in the main room as well as Quin in the main room but none of them are clickable. My only main task is to speak to the ghost in the right hallway but they aren't there. I can also speak to Melanie and Sarah in the kitchen and choose to go home with them but decided against it.
Anyone have any ideas? (I meet all requirements for both Nicole/Lily and Quin. There is also no Sage in my bedroom for her path.

I had read here on the forum that the person responsible for the blackout at the Halloween party was the MC's grandfather. It was a way he found to be able to see the MC up close the moment he went down the stairs to check what happened to the energy. If it's true, it's pretty sad to imagine that the MC's grandfather has to do such a thing because he's afraid to approach him in daylight. Is there someone in a wheelchair on the side of the stairs, would that person be the MC's grandfather?

Game crashes on a specific point at the start of episode 9 right when Jacob says "For sure, i'ts one scary fucking mansion." the moment you progress past it the game just closes, attached the save file can't find a crash log can anyone help?

Yeah, early (ep1/2/3) Sage is a weird one: without the knowledge of who she is in the future, she comes off very badly as an angry, bitter, manipulative person. It's the additional information you get from spending significant time with her that lets you understand all of that (ie, spending 2+ years in a stifling mostly joyless relationship, especially for one as physically affectionate as Sage is).
As for the romantic vs open stuff, I don't know if Sage is necessarily being open, as in an open relationship - she's exploring since she's been in what was basically a sexless relationship for a good long while, and she is a very sexual person, so now she is trying to cram inthe MCas much college stuff as possible. It's not the same as cheating, or even being a fully open relationship: we've only had the Quinn threesome so far, though we can assume more are coming, but then (and presumably in the future) we had both MC and Sage agreeing to it and present - it wasn't one made the decision and the other went along with it, you're both asking each other if you want it and you both agree. If that's not present in future threesomes then it could become a problem.
In most of the games around here i dont care about that, cause they are most of the times just ordinary porn games with way less relationship build up.But being a dik is different here. Its way more about the relationships and build ups, and heading to the end of episode 8 MC decided to "commit" to one girl, even as playing as dik and fucking around before you can commit to Sage. If you fucked Quinn before you can have a threesome immediatly after commiting to Sage that felt a little off and odd. Felt a little forced too, i think DPC decided there must be a possible relationship besides J&M where you can get easily Threesomes... we are still talking about a porngame here. The whole decision making in ep 8 felt strange to me in some ways. I think it would work much better like this... if you fucked around a lot (lets say, more than 4 girls), you havte to go for the others route without getting a choice, cause you already MADE that choice before. If you had something with 2 or 3 girls, you were not able to make a choice so far and has to commit after episode 8, like this it'll work better, but instead you can pretty much fuck at every single opportunity and still can get a serious relationship with the girls... that felt strange, especially towards a Jill realtionship or Josy and Maya where are very early already heavy feelings involved. (most of the time i play faithful routes anyways, except for the others routes and one different Sage playthrough though, that worked the best overall)
Well for Sage, its just my "feelings" that doesnt work well with her relationship overall. Its just my subjective view i guess. I didnt say that it doesnt make sense... and you can get the threesome only if you had something going on with Quinn anyways. So on a Sage "only" route there is no threesome BUT she suggested one, just right after getting serious with the MC... and yeah, still, that felt odd. After getting serious in a relationship, the first thing i suggest wouldnt be a threesome
And the other thing that bothers me a lot with the sage relationship is the whole Chad thing... she is basically cheating the whole time with the MC just to get back to chad and her "itch" scratched a little. Personally i woudlnt even start something like that with her, nothing good can come out of something like that anyways... of course, its a porn game and everything turns out fine afterwards cause Chad is gay and bla... but well, yeah its all a little strange and i cant reall get "immersed" in it, worked way better with all the others... And i know, iam very out numbered here, but the Jill relationship is my favorite (playing a faithful route that is, otherwise it felt odd too). Though... favorite girl will be always Josy... and if her solo route is finally coming it will be my favorite route for sure. And there iam not out numbered anymore i guess ^^

Eh, I respect your opinion on the matter and can fully understand why people are upset that she is not very forthcoming with details about her marriage. That said I'm a Bella fan for sure but I'm not losing patience, to me its more of a "She will tell me when she is ready" kind of deal. Like how initially she couldn't allow herself to have feelings for MC, then she was able to admit it and ask for a date. Or she couldn't use her bedroom for sexy times, but then at EP8 she was certainly ready...

The most obvious spin for this tin foil hat theory to me would be that Lynette got knocked up and her well-to-do family were not happy, Lynette ran away... Except then when she ends up in hospital who would be her emergency contact/next of kin? Her parents.
Having relocated after she ran away they might try killing two birds with one stone, palm the bastard MC off on Neil "Oh so sorry, Neil. She died.. Tata!" meanwhile they can likely whisk Lynette off and tell her whatever they like to keep her from going looking, maybe even threats. It certainly wouldn't be beyond the realm of financial possibility to keep Neil in the dark, especially since he appears to have accepted it hook line and sinker. As for the inheritance maybe at some point Neil did start asking questions so they just created an 'inheritance' for MC to get when he turns 19, thus shutting Neil's investigating down.
I do not personally believe this though.
People give Jill shit for being innocent and silly, but she outsmarted the MC in handling their relationship. As soon as she found out that the MC didn't have any sexual illnesses she already openly spoke to the MC for them to be officially boyfriend and girlfriend, while the MC didn't do the same with Zoey when he had the opportunity. Let's see if the MC learned this time, besides Jill he didn't have this conversation with any other girl. Will he be stupid enough to make that mistake again?
