That's something I haven't completed yet.
I've done some, but not with J&M & Jill yet.

Looks like I have something to do for this week
:ROFLMAO:
Definitely think the throuple needs it. When the restaurant becomes public they'll probably put 2 and 2 together as to why their pledge list was so sexual, and if they find out that you knew about the restaurant at the time they were completing the list with your help I don't think they'll react well.

It's not The Truman show either. There is more than 1 story to play.
Well ok, 1 story but with multiple flavors.

Stopping yourself after just 1 playthrough is like eating a pizza and leaving the dough.
Unless you don't like pizza of course. Then oh well.
:ROFLMAO:
Dr House is a series i can watch 20 times fr

after reading this comment and the comment you posted before i really feel bad for you. the fact that you dont have anything to do this week other than play a porn game is depressing. i hope your life turns out better than this bro
Being retired helps.

Yes, I did say "retired" and not "retarded". Although the latter can be debated.

I dunno, that could be interesting.

I think it will be. Only MG I'm not sure will have much of a reaction is Jill. She'll probably just ask whether you used it after becoming her boyfriend, you answer no and she'll be totally fine about it. Bella will be pissed off that you didn't tell her about it so she could put a stop to it. Sage will have the most explosive reaction to it.

True, but concerning Bella though, I'm not sure she'd want to do anything about it. Specially after Ep9 where Nick spots her when leaving your room by the window.

I think Bella is the LI that has the most to lose, no matter which direction the story takes. I don't believe Derek would rat her out for fraternizing with a student. But others in the frat? not so sure they'd be so loyal to keep quiet should Bella have the hammer drop on anyone for whatever reason.

Although I am curious how Derek will react to her finding all his cheating techniques in class. Will he still keep her & MC's secret? Or will he try to blackmail the MC or her once he finds out they're dating?

Depends on what the handbook says. I'm sure they'll make some excuse to Nick and have him believe it was a platonic sleepover like the previous one (though whether the DIKs believed that or not is another question). If the handbook says teacher/student relationships are forbidden I don't think they'll tell anyone, even Derek, that they're in a relationship. If the handbook says it's ok then there's no blackmail to be had.

I have a nagging feeling that the handbook will most likely say something along the lines of "explicitly forbidden" to prevent "favoritism" and other complications. So I do believe the blackmailing will be inevitable. Nowhere is it illegal for a teacher to date an adult student. But every institution forbids it because the teacher could find themselves in a compromising position where a student could "curb" some teacher's educational integrity. Which would ultimately reflect negatively on the institution itself should a scandal erupt.

In real life that's probably true, but in fiction they seem to believe there's a grey area, I vaguely remember both Friends and HIMYM using the same storyline involving Ted and Ross dating one of their students and believing it's a "grey area" until actually finding out it was actually forbidden, I have a feeling DPC will use porn game logic and go the other way and make it a "grey area" rather than actually forbidden.

You could be right.
But looking at DPC's track record (OK so there's only 1 other title under his belt), he does tend to 'tickle' the realistic side of things. And judging from his other title, drama seems to be at the forefront of his creations, so personally I'm doubting the 'grey area' angle.

I think for the second half of his game he'll be coming at us 'head-on' with the drama, and that's not in the grey area.

I suppose it depends on the wording in the handbook too. Technically Bella is only Cathy's temporary replacement not permanent (unless that changes), and she is probably still employed primarily as a full time librarian, part time teacher (in the one optional end of curriculum course). DPC could use that as the get-out but then produce drama as the other staff (especially the rejected Burkes (Jade by Fuckface, Stephen by Bella) question whether that interpretation of the handbook is correct.

Plausible.
You could be onto something.
As you pointed out earlier, this is fiction afterall.
So who knows how it'll all pan-out, reality is but a guideline and not a determining factor.

Honestly, the most explosive reaction will probably be Quinn; no way she will be doing great if, or should I say when, it gets out. As unhinged as she has been so far, I can see the lid coming right off when she loses all her precious control.

Sage will be explosive no doubt, but I feel she and Maya will probably react along the same narrative lines, just on different sides. Maya will see it as this cliff she was almost pushed towards while Sage will realize she's like Wile E. Coyote with nothing but empty air to stand on and all it took for her to fall is to realize it. The cliff is the line, for clarity's sake.

Thinking about it, I wonder if Derek uses the services. We get no scene showing that but we can't assume we've been shown everything he's been doing just because it's possible to become his best friend. If he has been it might add a bit of drama to Maya's storyline, assuming her loan gets handled before any prostitution revelation. "Forever and ever" may just become a lot shorter.

Love the convo in the past few pages, don't know what happened with DMNOV3R though. A week or two ago he said something about being done with F95 and I took that as a farewell, but I guess it was just a joke. Hard to comprehend the first thing he does upon his return is shit on Thanksgiving and jump to conclusions about a massive three-week time-skip, but it is what it is I guess. Regardless, cool to see you active again. Hope you're doing okay, my guy.

Craftsman/painter, if he really good and skilled will warn you and give you an estimate. Like, you may ask to speed up the process, but the cons could be a lower quality. Like, something won't dry out there and there will be stains, something will come off here, because we started painting until the glue caught, etc. Comparing it to the game it would be a bunch of bugs in their worst form, like when you can't progress, game crashes, whatever else. He will have to fix it and spend some time, and you - as player have to wait for each fix too.

The only alternative to quality degradation due to increased development speed and the complete opposite at the same time is to limit & reduce the size of each new episode. But is it worth it? Yes, we get a piece of new content faster, but given the current branching of the game, it will be a 2-hour run for each individual branch, although for the 9th episode it was 4-5h. Also a dubious way, you will have to increase the number of episodes and seasons. And despite the faster release of each episode, some time is spent on the release side tasks anyway, let it be 2 weeks on average (testing, compilation, uploading, etc.). Anyway it's a useless speculations, because DPC already rejected following such way as well.
but what reason does the craftsman have for saying that it could take less? and who is the judge of how much improvement each extra day of work brings? he himself, so it is a sentence that has no real value, nobody knows the minimum time required, even more so in a situation of absolute freedom as in this case.

if DPC by chance released the chapter in July would this automatically mean that it was rushed and that any flaws in the chapter are all due to this haste? i don't think so, and in the same way if it came out next year it's not like it automatically becomes the best chapter ever, like 9 which wasn't.
I suppose he don't think about such tricks to get money exactly. He got very well income already and we are in several years from final episode. Also I don't expect that he want to literally "die" or "burn out" while he making the game. Because following this logic may take him to the point when he just don't want to do anything more. So, I would trust him in a way which he described it, that sometimes he become "too creative" and want to unexpectedly implement something at the last moment of time.
I never said he could do it out of malice, to cheat his patreons, but that he has no reason not to do it

and when you talk about burnout: doing something you like is the best way to avoid it, so doing a scene that you feel like doing, however much it may be more or less useful, more or less loved, is the solution, not the problem

Again, it's only urgent to Jill and the lawyer (the people who decide when the meeting will take place) if Maya has told them the whole problem which she probably hasn't. As far as they are concerned the problem is that one of Jill's friends has issues with her loan, to them there's no imminent threat of Maya being thrown out of college so it's not an urgent issue. You can't project our knowledge of the situation onto characters who don't have the same information.
[/QUOTE]
if it is urgent for Maya, then it is urgent, MC knows the problem, Josy (who is very close to Jill) knows everything, even Sage should know almost everything, if Jill is kept in the dark when at this moment she represents Maya's only chance it is part of those choices acceptable for plot but not for realism.

but then it's not that the lawyer has to solve the problem immediately, but at least be made aware of it
