One of my biggest concerns when developing new episodes with this level of branching is that for every part of the episode you branch, it cuts playtime from the episode. Yet, with episode 10, I don't feel that when I play it. I've felt that everything is rich in content, regardless of branch. And that's a good sign that I'm on the right track.

I'm carefully considering which branches need something more. Even if it's just a small scene, it can make a huge difference and tie the knot on that branch.
the most interesting part of the update is this.

On the one hand, it admits the difficulty in creating chapters that are satisfying through each run (which I don't know whether this is a response to criticism of the lack of content in the ninth chapter or a more general discourse).

it would also be an important step too bad that he immediately presents the bill, for this will be forced to think about whether to add content on certain runs (mechanism that we have already seen with the last chapter where at the last checks DPC discovered that it was necessary to add a scene to the run of Bella)

so even when it would be 100% it might still take an additional 2%

funny how waiting for Being a DIK for 9 months is alot yet here i am waiting for ARTEMIS, which is already at the 10 month mark!!!!
All the devs are moving to the rhythm of one update by year. Can't blame them, there is no incentive and I'm sure that in the future, updates will grow to be even longer. But I can blame the pigeons who keep financing those bad habits by paying for renders and no longer regularly update of the game.

If after 6 months with nothing, DPC lost a significative number of them. The episode 10 would already be there, didn't happen, won't happen. Can't blame DPC for always pushing it even further.

ofc DPC focus on other greater things, but one of the weakness of badik is a absence of post sex/facial - talk/mini scene. like with vanished cum on Envy in ep.8, fast transition in ep.9 with Heather, where it might be some manipulations with napkin. didnt see or remember all scenes but these are examples. (also talking because some games have that.(not a tier 3+ ones)
found some attempt with Lily in ep.7
So let the last ones be Melanie in ep.8, Riona in ep.5
Ofc it wont be implemented for badik for 10-12 ep, but it could be noice

I'm curious about a matter regarding the upcoming game update. It seems that the game will introduce greater content restrictions based on the love interest (LI) chosen in episode 8. In this context, I wonder if every LI in the alternative route will receive dedicated scenes as the story progresses. For instance, if I decide to exclusively pursue Nicole during my playthrough, will the experience feel somewhat minimalistic, or will it genuinely delve deeper into her character? Of course, I understand that the focus won't be as intense as when selecting a main LI. Apologies if this question has already been addressed; I haven't been following the game closely since January.

GAH!!!! I cannot play ep9. I can't get my saves to import and I can't do any of the install codes because it keeps saying connection error. This is infuriating.

Why is it necessary to have a new launcher for S3? Ep 1 thru 8 on one download seemed fine. How come there has to be a whole new file and new launcher to continue? Why does this have to be so complicated? Can't someone like myself, who's not very tech savvy, just download and play the freakin game?

no more randoms asking about the release date
episode 11 when

Just some ideas so we don't have to start planning our retirement before we see the epic finale.
I'm fully expecting to be dead before the story finishes at this point. Make peace with it.

Mate I'm still waiting for the Offcuts dev to return after 4 years.

In ep 9 we didn't see any real branching because all the characters were in the same place 90% of the time. The Sage branch suffered the most, as it was given very little time and the Others branch got an unreasonable amount of time. It's commendable that he wants to balance all the branches by bringing them to some common denominator, but the Others branch is going to lose out anyway.
He apparently created full scenes in different locations for each branch. We can only guess how many percent of the total amount of time the girls' paths will take. This is a colossal and big job and I would not be surprised if the game eventually comes out in November. The hope is that he doesn't start making new variables and creating unnecessary arcs again in an already overly bloated game. And of course there is no need to introduce new girls (as it was in ep9).

I disagree, the branching is there heavily from at least the seventh chapter onwards, including the ninth.

each LI has more exclusive scenes, both at the party and outside of it, it's just that the structure of the chapter has reduced the perception of each of its contents, which isn't abundant, but neither is it much less than in the previous chapters.

the fact that we cross paths with the LIs at the party gave the impression that all the runs were almost the same, but this was only partially true (e.g. all the runs of the LIs end with a variation of the walk of shame, which even being the same scene is still very different for each of the girls

Which is pretty dumb in at least two situations. All of them but Others/Sage end on a dramatic note when in Jill's case it doesn't matter because Rusty dated her once, and everyone already assumed you fucked Isabella so Nick seeing her leave your room isn't a big deal either.

Taking a step back: it was always extremely dumb for Bella to stay over at the DIKs' and walk out the front door in the aftermath of the scandal involving Cathy.

Having overcome this, her second walk of shame is made interesting by the fact that the witness is Nick, which from the MC's point of view is good news, being the quietest of the DIKs, but from the player's point of view creates a whole series of pre-warnings for the unclear relationship between Nick and Vinnie

But zero bad things happened. Isabella is too scary to the general student population for any of them to go spreading it around. But regardless the DIKs already 'knew' you fucked Isabella, so Nick seeing her leaving in the morning isn't a huge deal.

Burying the Hatchet with the ALPAHS

Clearly, the beef with the Jocks will need a closure. And a CHIK closure will be for everyone to agree to bury the hatchet. Both DIKS and ALPHAS can have their parties without worry. Girls can attend whichever parties they want because neither DIKS nor ALPHAS own them. But for this to work, a dramatic event will need to happen in order to have the ALPHAS set down and listen to reason.

I believe the author is planning for another fight with Caleb. The coach in the gym gave the MC some pointers on how to take him down and the MC was determined to get stronger to fight people like Caleb if he had to.

I picture the MC receiving a call from the DIKS telling him that the ALPHAS are attacking the DIKS in their HQ and beating the hell out of them while the MC not being there. He rushes to the DIKS HQ. Bella and Jill somehow need to see him. Maybe he happens to be driving Rusty's car and starts driving like a maniac crossing a red traffic light while Jill happens to be in her car at that same intersection, realizes that something is terribly wrong and decides to follow. Bella might be nearby at the library, sees the MC driving crazy and follows.

MC arrives before Bella and Jill. Kicks the ass of every ALPHA until he reaches Dawe except for Caleb who is downstairs at Tommy' room with Tommy being the last man standing and Caleb beating him down and knocking him out. An ALPHA runs to get Caleb who arrives after MC beats Dawe to a pulp. Caleb and MC start sparring right in front of the door leading from the hallway to the main party room. MC is giving Caleb a hard time as Caleb never lands a punch which makes him angrier and angrier. Jill, followed by Bella gets into the DIKS HQ enters the hallway and sees the MC in front of in the main party room. She does not see Caleb and does not pay much attention to the fact that they are fighting.

Caleb initiates a powerful punch just as Jill decides to enter the room and the MC in a split second realizes that he will hit Jill. Jill and MC lock eyes, he pushes her back and the punch lands on the MC's face instead knocking him down hard to the floor. Maybe breaking a tooth and bloodies his face.

Jill and Bella are shocked. Jill realizes what just happened and that the MC took a very bad hit and is probably knocked out and start crying. Bella shouts at Caleb who is frenzied now and starts threatening and shouting back. Bella puts Jill behind her, and they are both shaking. MC stands up with a bruised eye (again). Bloodied, face swollen, spits blood, calls for Caleb and they start sparring again. Maybe with half HP now.

This time, MC stars hitting Caleb’s biceps (Think IP man VS Twister in IP Man 2) over and over to weaken them (a tip from the Gym coach maybe?), lands a critical blow and then hits Caleb’s feet from the back so he loses balance and falls on his head. MC climbs on top of Caleb with his knees on Caleb's already worn-out biceps and start smashing his face with punches over an over (think Jon Snow and Ramsey Bolton only faster punches).

MC stops either by Caleb asking him not to kill him or by knocking out Caleb, or maybe by Jill or Bella reaching to his hand.

By the time that happens MC realizes that not only Bella and Jill were watching but also most of the HOTs arrived at the scene as well.

MC shouts that this ends now.

MC tells the HOTs to get medical supplies and tend to everyone. He also tells Melanie to bring in Chad. No hospitals, campus staff or police as both DIKS and ALPHAS have no strikes left and might get permanently banned.

Chad comes, talks with MC and decide that continuing like this is good for no one and DIKs and APLHAS will end up without a frat if they continue like this and decides to bury the hatchet. Chad fires Dawe from vice-president position and places Anthony instead.

MC passes out.
