Episode 9 indicated that DPC's lost the plot as regards to what feels right. The dude's long-ass animations were just pointless. He even had an animation of the preps coming to the Halloween party in their whatever-the-fuck-they-were-wearing costumes. No one gives a fuck about the preps, why include them in an animation that probably took a day to do?
If episode 10 turns out to be a DPC vanity-project (which is the direction this game seems to have started to take), I'll have pretty much lost interest. Sure it's polished and looks better than most games, but it's becoming bloated the way all good products go once they forget what they are doing...

Oh, I totally agree on some animations being totally unnecessary (never played Josy&Maya path, recently discovered Maya's pool animation took half of EP8 production time lol) but could you elaborate on how those animations and the focus on them, which prolongs development time, indicate DPC lost the plot? Many people regarded EP9 as worse than its predecessors in terms of writing because it didn't move the story forward, something I hope will be fixed in EP10. But I don't know how it is connected to the plot.
Everyone loves badik's story, but then when they have to talk about it the only quality would be better than most of the other avn, which are often semi-amateurishly written by people who have problens with English. Good but not great
Yeah, I think it's really hard to go past the fact that it's porn VN. Still, I believe this kind of praise is good. I don't think being the best of its kind or one of the best of its kind is a bad thing.

If it still doesn't appeal to your idea of argumenting why BaDIK writing is really good, maybe someone else could do it, but aside from that post, I don't think I'm competent to create a video essay that analyses such writing.

I really appreciate you taking an interest in me and noticing my line of thought. Just want to correct you on two things.
First, I met here with some disregard for something I find to be really good, BaDIK writing. I don't mind people playing this game to fap. I also don't mind good discussion, I don't mind disagreeing, I also don't mind if someone shows me the other way of thinking. My issue was that most people who disagreed with me by saying the writing isn't good or special just used the argument that "it's a shallow porn game to fap your dick as hard as you can when you see your computer girlfriend or Jade; Jade works too". I think it's based on unfair bias and I like to point it out. Nothing more, nothing less. But I understand why that can be annoying to some people.
The second thing, which makes your sarcasm quite ironic, If you researched my posts, you would find how critical I am of BaDIK's writing. I love it because it's really complex, engaging, has a lot of heart and good humor. Still, not flawless. I hate the MC&Sage arc in Season 2. It's not engaging and the transition from fuck buddies to relationship is awkward. I believe stretching EP9's party made writing feel weird in places (excuse me for speaking from my mind; I'm only heading into replaying EP9 and don't remember details). And my biggest criticism, which once made me and
Kpyna go into passionate discussion, is that I find the writing and character motivation flawed when compared between different branches.
Still, I really want to see that Tybalt and Madam Rose arc. Could be something interesting, given Tybalt won't have much to do after Jibalt broke up.
