You just need to accept that in such type of games you have progression forward as well as progression up and down in terms of saves. And by playing only 1 route you are cutting yourself of 60% of content. It's like playing RPG without huge side quests, like killing Anduin in Skyrim and never playing again missing actually the best chunk of content from the game

For that reason I think Jill will invite Fuckface to the Royce mansion for some reason on all routes (potentially for her campaign in her sister's name), at this point Fuckface on all routes will be re-introduced to Bianca, but this time with Matthew and he will remember what he saw at the halloween party (the only issue is that I can't remember if it was optional to go to that room or whether it was a required task (therefore making it a canon event).
Pretty sure you can't avoid it, I tried on my last playthrough. You're required to talk to Maya and Josy in that room when they're doing the detective bit and entering the room triggered the Matthew scene first. It's possible it depends on the order in which you talk to people during that section, but I doubt it.

Because of how slow he is Fuckface still needs another reminder of where he has seen the mansion in Lynette's picture before even if on Jill path and having the picnic near the mansion and the picture of Jill with the same mansion. I think this is because the identity of Lynette's family is an important canonical plot point so Fuckface on Jill route can't be ahead of Fuckface on any other route for that plot.

For that reason I think Jill will invite Fuckface to the Royce mansion for some reason on all routes (potentially for her campaign in her sister's name), at this point Fuckface on all routes will be re-introduced to Bianca, but this time with Matthew and he will remember what he saw at the halloween party (the only issue is that I can't remember if it was optional to go to that room or whether it was a required task (therefore making it a canon event). And just like on the Jill route we'll be given the option whether to tell chosen LI about it (if on others route you'd probably talk to Derek or Zoey about it) and decide whether to tell Bianca. Bianca will probably make a move on Fuckface when she finds out on all routes (likely a forced turn down if on an LI route, but reaction could change cheating points).
On quinn route you can see them in ep8 bench scene, so there are at least 2 ways so far to potentially find out.

First off... Boom! The 5000 render milestone was reached this week. Now episode 10 has more renders than episode 9 - the previously biggest episode in the game. And because I reached this milestone, I had to try and estimate how much is left in terms of development.

I have been working on art and coding all week. I started by completing two smaller scenes and one free-roam event. The better part of the week was spent on creating the last free-roam event of the episode. Since it's a new environment, there was environmental design to carry out first, and also preparation of the characters for it.

The dialogue for this free-roam event was written months ago, so it's a matter of creating the art and coding the events and buttons. It's a labor-intensive yet easy free-roam event to create, so I should be able to maintain a good speed without any speed bumps.

After the recent weeks of playing and polishing the game, my flowchart has been updated, and the following checklist is what the current state is like.

As I develop these episodes, I always ask you to take numbers with a grain of salt because the scene/render/animation count will change until the last few weeks of development. This is why it's always hard for me to give accurate estimates.

As you will notice below, the scene count is larger than I reported earlier because of the addition of some scenes that were needed to make some branches feel whole.

Checklist Episode 10
This is the current checklist of what's left to do before beta testing can begin.

Scenes
Three lewd scenes - One is written. Neither scene has any art.

Three free-roam events - One is almost complete, another has a few scenes left, and I'm ~70% through the last one. All writing is done. All need a different degree of testing and additional phone content.

Three normal scenes - One is written, one has partial writing, and one is planned. Neither scene has any art.

Art
Based on the scenes above, I estimate I must pose an additional ~600 static renders and 70-100 animations.

Current static render count: 4892 produced. 220 posed renders in the render queue. 5112 renders total.

Current animation count: 237 produced. 28 posed animations in the render queue. 265 animations total.

Code
Pack Quest - In the planning phase.

Vault - Ensure that numbers are placed and work as intended.

Rewards/2D art - 70% completed. The rest will be placed in free-roam events, story scenes, and the Vault. Testing and possibly correction of code are needed.

Gallery - The lewd gallery has been coded but can't be tested until all lewd scenes have been made. Some art remains for miniature images.

Phone content - There's some work left with the Rooster and Chat apps. Also, the new phone gallery will get additional planned content. The music app needs updated code to include new songs.

Bios - I always leave bios for the last part of the development.

Episode end screen and report - In the planning phase.

Credits - I haven't added new patrons to the credit section yet.

Sound
SFX work has been done as I play-tested parts of the episode; I estimate it's ~80-90% done.

For music, it's the same as with SFX. Most of the scenes that are complete have songs in place. 25 new songs have been added so far.

Testing
I haven't played the episode from start to finish yet because of gaps in the episode and missing content near the end.

My personal tests and polishing remain. How long they take usually depends on how much I have played the episode during development and whether new features are involved.

Episode 10 is packed with new things for the game, meaning testing might take some extra time to ensure high quality.

My thoughts on the checklist.
The animations will be the most demanding part, but cannot be skipped or trimmed as the scenes are essential for the episode.

The static render estimation can change in either direction but is likely lower than stated.

The code tasks are all fast tasks to complete. I estimate that I could get all of them done within 1-2 days of work, but they depend on the art content I need to produce first.

The remaining work on SFX and Music won't take too long, 1-2 days here as well.

Testing is another demanding part. I have lots of new features to test this time around. And we are talking about the five main branches on top of some very ambitious branching within them.

As always, there will be waiting time for animations near the end of the development, and this is when I plan to perform my personal tests and polishing.

Hopefully, I have covered all aspects of the checklist, but I may have missed something minor - all big tasks are accounted for.

My plan going forward.
I plan to work with art until I need to write the last scenes. Animations will be posed intermittently.

I plan to be done with my testing as the final animation frames are produced, thus minimizing the time between the PCs being idle and the start of beta testing/proofreading. As usual, at least two weeks will be allotted for private beta testing and proofreading before the episode can be released on Patreon.

Next up for me is to continue with art on the free-roam I'm working on and hopefully be able to move on to other scenes later next week.

Yes, it's possible. You may reject or fail each opportunities with each girl and end up EP9 as a "virgin" or "monk". It's the second name for a such runs. Canonically MC is not a virgin, since he fucked with Zoey before anyway. But it's regarding all the time passed after.

The goal of such runs is to get some very specific consequences, the completeonist reasons, etc. I have 2 Josy/Maya dedicated runs, where MC goes into friendzone with them in EP4, then choices feelings for one of them. I also have a train wreck save, where MC fucks up any things he touches, have access to or somehow related to. This can be played out as a "good" boy, which is sooo unlucky and unhappy or a total villain, who does all this things intentionally. Like be rude with MC father, be rude with any people and girls (on such "bad" run I have a negative RPs with each MGs, each frats, except those, which never offered any +-RP), I failed mansion repair, forcing Rusty to sell his car to Patrick, failed Halloween party planning, so every DIK got red unhappy mood, etc and a lot of other bad deeds.

Faithful runs could be boring, when you play game for a first time. A lot of people come into this game after a lot of other AVNs and trying to play by the same pattern (build a harem), while BADIK is the opposite thing. You may try, but you will face the consequences. When you played 5-10-20+ times, it's ok (as for me) to make a dedicated faithful runs. They probably could lead to the most happy endings and could be a conflict free as much as possible.

All such permutations, different relationships and their state, etc grants a huge replayability potential.

If you suffer from the fact that you have not a lot of content with J&M - well, make a separate run dedicated to them. Extra run and save is never superfluous. At least in game like a BADIK.

I, personally, have an Excel file with all my saves, choices in them and the goals which I have conceived for each of them. It took me some time at the beginning, but then you just copy-paste and change and fill things (choices, etc). Very convenient. Otherwise, it's hard to remember the little things, the choices, and it's very easy to miss something.

I have 23 saves now and plan to add 2 more, maybe 3. This will cover 99% of all possible Season 1-2 permutations and relationship links as well as possible secondary choices.

Let me tell ya, you guys are something else. Man... 23 saves what the heck. And even with Excel spreadsheets (I was freaking joking with that but you guys are serious) it seems like a lot of data. Maybe it's too much for me because I try to get immersed into the story and having basically Doctor MC: The Universe of Madness in my save files would ruin that a little bit. Also don't think faithful runs are that much needed, at least not before we get some actual consequences. Kinda wonder when those are gonna come, soon or in season 4...?

I think many people look at LEWD aspect (which is understandable but a little bit shallow IMO) to see if something is boring, like faithful runs. But lots of time the only way to get actual content with a girl is in romantic way so you kinda have to if you like hanging out with a gal. Like if you're not on Bella's route in EP8 she just cuts your hair and that's it. Also the only way for her to become warm to you with smiles and whatnot is to be on romance path.

Moments like this is why Sage is a strong contender for the funniest LI, which goes along way in my book.
I resonate quite well with DPC sense of humor so I find a lot of LI funny in their own way. Maya when anything about Quinn. Quinn when anything about Maya. Bella matching MC's energy. Sage with Tyballs. Jill with her awkwardness (also Tybalt helps, he's great). And Josy... okay Josy isn't funny but she is still great. Do not show this post to Joshy, if he asks about me I'm attending gender studies, do not disturb me.


Yeah I don't recommend it tho, most boring route ever along with the Jill only run.

I don't think anyone written by DPC can be boring. This route still has DIKs, Derek, Tybalt, a little bit of drama and partyin and alcohol. Jill route boring? With Tybalt being funni funni and cute wholesome scenes + that recital? It's super cheesy but super great.

I know where we are and I'm not enforcing prudish lifestyle but not everything has to be about wetting your dong. Sometimes it's about wetting your heart baby ;)

Testing
I haven't played the episode from start to finish yet because of gaps in the episode and missing content near the end.

My personal tests and polishing remain. How long they take usually depends on how much I have played the episode during development and whether new features are involved.

Episode 10 is packed with new things for the game, meaning testing might take some extra time to ensure high quality.

My thoughts on the checklist.
The animations will be the most demanding part, but cannot be skipped or trimmed as the scenes are essential for the episode.

The static render estimation can change in either direction but is likely lower than stated.

The code tasks are all fast tasks to complete. I estimate that I could get all of them done within 1-2 days of work, but they depend on the art content I need to produce first.

The remaining work on SFX and Music won't take too long, 1-2 days here as well.

Testing is another demanding part. I have lots of new features to test this time around. And we are talking about the five main branches on top of some very ambitious branching within them.

As always, there will be waiting time for animations near the end of the development, and this is when I plan to perform my personal tests and polishing.

Hopefully, I have covered all aspects of the checklist, but I may have missed something minor - all big tasks are accounted for.

My plan going forward.
I plan to work with art until I need to write the last scenes. Animations will be posed intermittently.

I plan to be done with my testing as the final animation frames are produced, thus minimizing the time between the PCs being idle and the start of beta testing/proofreading. As usual, at least two weeks will be allotted for private beta testing and proofreading before the episode can be released on Patreon.

Next up for me is to continue with art on the free-roam I'm working on and hopefully be able to move on to other scenes later next week.

Fuck me, that's way too many animations, and those arent even posed, this means setember is out of question.

First progress report of ep 10
I'm still planning the episode, adding events, and creating its structure. I'm aiming for a smaller episode than episode 9, and time will tell if I can do that.

First off... Boom! The 5000 render milestone was reached this week. Now episode 10 has more renders than episode 9 - the previously biggest episode in the game.
Oh, the duality of men! At least we can stop pretend DPC is good in planning and accept that whole "i have all the story map out" is straight up bullshit.
EDIT: Also, perceive how he not even mention/remember his initial "plan" of make ep 10 smaller. Probably because it'll be the same of admit he failed in something and God forbid the great DPC admit he failed in something

First off... Boom! The 5000 render milestone was reached this week. Now episode 10 has more renders than episode 9 - the previously biggest episode in the game. And because I reached this milestone, I had to try and estimate how much is left in terms of development.

I have been working on art and coding all week. I started by completing two smaller scenes and one free-roam event. The better part of the week was spent on creating the last free-roam event of the episode. Since it's a new environment, there was environmental design to carry out first, and also preparation of the characters for it.

The dialogue for this free-roam event was written months ago, so it's a matter of creating the art and coding the events and buttons. It's a labor-intensive yet easy free-roam event to create, so I should be able to maintain a good speed without any speed bumps.

After the recent weeks of playing and polishing the game, my flowchart has been updated, and the following checklist is what the current state is like.

As I develop these episodes, I always ask you to take numbers with a grain of salt because the scene/render/animation count will change until the last few weeks of development. This is why it's always hard for me to give accurate estimates.

As you will notice below, the scene count is larger than I reported earlier because of the addition of some scenes that were needed to make some branches feel whole.

Checklist Episode 10
This is the current checklist of what's left to do before beta testing can begin.

Scenes
Three lewd scenes - One is written. Neither scene has any art.

Three free-roam events - One is almost complete, another has a few scenes left, and I'm ~70% through the last one. All writing is done. All need a different degree of testing and additional phone content.

Three normal scenes - One is written, one has partial writing, and one is planned. Neither scene has any art.

Art
Based on the scenes above, I estimate I must pose an additional ~600 static renders and 70-100 animations.

Current static render count: 4892 produced. 220 posed renders in the render queue. 5112 renders total.

Current animation count: 237 produced. 28 posed animations in the render queue. 265 animations total.

Code
Pack Quest - In the planning phase.

Vault - Ensure that numbers are placed and work as intended.

Rewards/2D art - 70% completed. The rest will be placed in free-roam events, story scenes, and the Vault. Testing and possibly correction of code are needed.

Gallery - The lewd gallery has been coded but can't be tested until all lewd scenes have been made. Some art remains for miniature images.

Phone content - There's some work left with the Rooster and Chat apps. Also, the new phone gallery will get additional planned content. The music app needs updated code to include new songs.

Bios - I always leave bios for the last part of the development.

Episode end screen and report - In the planning phase.

Credits - I haven't added new patrons to the credit section yet.
