Similar theory has been posted here a few times, there is a Backdoor on Rusty's laptop, someone else has access to everything on Rusty's laptop.
JB mentions that he heard someone fucking in Rusty's room at the time Cathy's Cluck was posted, and the laptop was found in the library, posting a simple cluck is quick, why would they need to take the laptop out of Rusty's room and take it to the library? It's because they needed time to do what they wanted, which could be adding a Backdoor, which takes much longer than posting a cluck.
Why a backdoor? Because after the cluck incident, it is obvious that DIK's would change the laptop password, or at least they will protect better.
The girl fucking Rusty in his room, maybe Beth, was distracting Rusty while someone else was with the laptop in the library, in this render we see Beth talking to someone on the phone, probably letting them know that the job was done, or checking in with the other person if they did everything they planned.
I think it's similar to what DPC has done with Nick, and now with Jacob, giving us more people to doubt, Magnar's happiness is very obvious, everyone notices this, he obviously goes on the list of suspects, mainly due to the fact that the Nerds barely appear in the story, what are they planning? regarding the "christmas foreshadowing"
We dont see much, but its clearly Bellas home. And the door where the "silhouette" enters the room, is the locked door.
But thats about it... Iam not that sure that there is blood to be seen... on the carpet its wine, and on the floor... to me it looked more like dirt from the plant, until the reflection. But well... lets be honest here, i just think daz-studio cant really handle "fluids"... wine on the carpet doesnt look like that, its looking more like thick wood coating or some sort.
And on the floor... its not "much" blood, if its blood. Its not more than a little nosebleeding and someone stepped a foot in it.
My initial thaught on the whole scene? Its actual a story from 5 years ago, not on christmas though, but doesnt matter... Family dinner with Lamb shank (haha Sandy, not Lamb chop
), uncle with sharp knife in hand... doesnt pay attention to what he is doing... well, you get the picture. Blood spilled, a little panic, aunt knocks over the table, no first aid kit in the house... 7 people runnig to the car, uncle is completely calm telling everybody "come on, its just a cut" half an hour later and some stitches in the hospital and everything was fine.... except... nobody paid attention of closing the front doof of the house and some people stole the TV. I think the scene in the game looks more or less the same like the one out of my story, kind of banal.
We can assume that Bella will hold a christmas dinner for all the friends. MC, Sage, J&M, Derek, Jill, herself and maybe Neil or Cathy. And that something will went wrong... but people tend to think "omg AXE MURDERER"... and well, i dont think so
it will turn out as something way more "banal". Regarding the silhoutte... well... i would say we are at 75% percentage probability that its most likely James who will show up... That James will play a role, or at least his story in this season is obvious, and overdue too.
Only thing i wonder about, why does the "silhoutte" comes out of the locked door? We will see... but no, I cant imagine that Patrick will show up there and coming through the locked door... that would be strange.

Although, Bella didn't really lie to MC, she "omited" the truth more like, if you play Nora's path she actually answers the question
So technically it's okay for MC and Bella to date, it's just that according to the rulebook they'd have to make their relationship public and apparently she isn't ready for that yet, but as you said, she realized she needs MC so she doesn't want to end their relationship either and decides to hide it instead.
My best guess is that she's afraid MC would get upset that there's a "legal" way for them to date but Bella chooses the "illegal" way instead. But for MC in EP8, legal or not, for him it was just a matter of hiding the relationship, I'm sure he'd understand Bella and respect her wish if she told him the truth, so I don't really understand why DPC wrote this plotline this way tbh.
Moving on, what did you expect her to say about James? In earlier episodes she clearly still has some hope James might come back one day, she probably still loves him, do you really expect her to give up on her old life that she's been hopelessly hanging on for 3 years, as soon as she meets a man whom she grows feelings for?
Put things into perspective, by the time she and MC have that talk they have met around 3 months ago and started truly dating (not fooling around) about 1 month ago. Her marriage with James was probably a decade old or more by the time he left.
All she knows is that MC gave her hope and a resemblance of happiness for the first time in 3 years, for now that seems enough.
All in all I think we should just be happy that she finally opened up a bit and was honest about James with MC, that by itself is a huge step forward and shows how much she cares about MC already.
As for the dinner, your guess is as good as mine.
And it's not all doom and gloom for her branch, c'mon, it's quite romantic as well, did you play the same episode as me? Their date is super funny, almost every line that woman said can be turned into a meme. And their relationship looks wholesome and natural, something I thought was going to be quite hard to pull off considering the woman we saw in earlier episodes.
