To be precise: they are girls for whom mc had feelings (in the past or at the beginning of the story), this is canon, that he still has feelings instead is not canon, there are several occasions to reiterate this with both. She is in an unhappy relationship, in the Same way, like her Parents were before they divorced and the same way Burke and Jade are in. and she doesn't know how to deal with it.

The kidnapping happens in the foreshadow piece at the end of ep 10, so we really don't know when it happens in 11. What gets done about it will depend a lot on whether there was a witness, and if not, who Vinnie decides to give the bad news to and what he wants from that person.
My hunch is that at some point this whole drugs/kidnapping thing has to get the attention of the cops, at which point, a whole lot of things come unraveled, especially for the mc with Quinn and Riona.
