I'm not sure about that, I got the impression that she knew it was shady, but was willing to risk it. The MC even asks her something to the effect of "are you willing to do anything for the tuition" and she answers yes, no, i don't know.

So yes she took Quinn at her word when she mentioned it to her and Mona at the pool, and she was desperate enough to believe her, which in hindsight was dumb but at the time Quinn hadn't truly proved she was unreliable yet, just a jerk.

All the LIs have lapses in judgement, which is a very human thing to do, people frequently get blinded by their own preconceptions, worries, etc. It's part of why I like the writing in this game, DPC does a decent job of making the characters feel real, to a point.

Even in episode 10 it was she who suggested beard idea. She is an observant and smart gal.

overall my least favorite part of the episode, expecially because you can also fail to get the documents, so it can't really solve anything anyway. lucky it is the easiest part for CTRL through to it

Of course you have a right to your own likes and dislikes, but candidly the writing in this game sucks. While DPC has shown occasional good dialogue, and even good characterization, it's far from consistent. The plotting of the story is horrendously bad, even basic research is ignored completely. There are some well written games out there, but this isn't one of them.

Then that would be Tuition for prostitution. The ridiculous thing is that any adult human would believe that they are going to get free college just for joining a sorority, without a catch. She's even warned by MC in the most laughably vague way possible, but that's an entirely different absurdity in the game.

It would come off as rather selfish to tell him that, especially when MC does in fact tell Jill that the reason he can't go is that he's taking care of a sick friend. "I wanted to do something nice for you, but you're busy nursing your sick (girl)friend, so forget it."

Since the picnic is where MC tells Jill that he's falling for her, it'd be more appropriate for that to be the missing ingredient in making the Jill path work instead of not going on the picnic at all. Like maybe if MC were to meet up with Jill after helping Sage at say, a bowling alley to have fun, they'd still have a nice time together. But it would not be conducive to the circumstances of saying he's falling for her, even if she still told him about Tybalt's scheme. The romantic atmosphere just isn't there.

Yes, but you know how girls don't like being rejected. Even if there a reason. Especially when she prepared a picnic, but MC told her “it won’t work, let’s reschedule it for another day.” It’s possible to understand the situation, but an unpleasant aftertaste remains: she likes a guy who didn’t make her a priority.
Atmosphere for a match on that date was unique, so if you wasted your chance - it's over.

There are some well written games out there, but this isn't one of them.

I'm not saying your opinion is wrong or anything I'm just disagreeing on certain points. Do I think that the over arching plot of the game is gonna win some sort of award? god no. Do I think that the characterization of the LIs is done well? Yes, actualy i do, I think the characterization is done reasonably well.

You seem to have a much harsher view on things in general than i do, so we'll likely never agree, but that's fine.

I can't remember the story specifics that I'm sure will prove this not to be the case, but I like to think it could be a case of late applications. Here in the UK, there would be "Clearance" (at least, there was back in the day when I was 18, not sure about now) where you can apply late to a university if it still had spaces available. This would usually be as a panicked last resort after being rejected from your given choices, but it could also be for other reasons (I think).

Lily might have some issues with working scholarship and could have been put on waiting list for that issue, it is my head cannon until more clarification from DPC.

I haven't hated on this game for too long so here I am, for my mandatory, "Being a DIK" recurring roast.

Crunching 4 different, independent and not contradictory character traits (4 is the soft version) into one numerical variable of "DIK" is stupid.
"Building a character around one dimension" reminds me of something...
