Yeah, my wishful thinking that at least has some background in the game so far would probably be Sage joining in with Maya/Josy, but that might be a bit too much (despite having seen it done well in Bare Witness). Each Episode in BaDIK has typically around 4x or more the content of the updates that get published on a 2-4 month basis for other games, and the last two updates have been roughly 1 year apart. It's really just how DPC seems to like to publish things, since by doing it a full Episode at a time he has control up until the day it's published to refine a full "arc".

Consider this: Episode 10 of BaDIK had 5,868 renders and 335 animations, and took about a year. Update 0.7 of Eternum (another top-tier AVN) had about 1,250 renders and 60 animations, and took 7 months (though my understanding is that Caribdis is trying to get this back to 5-6 months for 0.8). So that's 5-6x times the raw content in not even 2x the development time.

It's quite possible that I never even took much notice of what was actually happening, because I might have been fangirling a little too much.

Seriously though, I thought it was ok. I didn't have very high expectations, because I was disappointed it was happening after a lot of alcohol and drugs and could have been a bust, but found it quite enjoyable.

Depends on who it is, in both scenarios. With a couple of exceptions, the threesomes have a completely different feel here, it's just sex, whereas a higher portion of the solo scenes involve more than that. They are about exploring, rather than just boning, especially any of the scenes with one of the LIs. That's how I see them, anyway.

That's one of the reasons I thought the Halloween Josy/Maya threesome was quite good, because it was about much more than just sex. That plus like.. 7 foreplay and 10 sex positions to choose from before finishing was nice.

Exactly, and I agree 100% - that has been one of my favourite scenes so far.

I'm playing a game at the moment with gorgeous girls and good animations, but there are no choices in the lewd scenes (including where to finish) and it's literally just one quick position and done, not even any build up really, most scenes are just stright into it like they're cutting in halfway through.

It's times like that that make me really appreciate the scenes in BaD, even the "bad" ones are actually pretty good (I'm excluding Madame Rose here because I've literally never seen one of her scenes (or Nora's, for that matter)).

I think all the others have either some back story or flirtation in game that make them possible. I dont think they will all happen but I think they are all possible.

That's the main reason I am yet to be convinced of some of the popular theories (including Sally and Elena) - I don't think they fit either the story or the theme of the game so far (meaning one or the other, not necessarily both). With these two examples, I know you can say some parts of the story are starting to fit around them as possibilities, but other parts are not, and for these two it's more the themes that would be a departure from what we've had so far.

Of course, despite that, I'd be pretty happy with any of the suggestions, I'm a simple man sometimes

The story is as "realistic" as possible, in that a harem isn't possible, or even multiple throuples. But porn logic does grease a lot of wheels to make some of the dream threesomes seem not only possible, but sometimes even plausible.
