VN - Ren'Py - Being a DIK [v0.10.1] [DrPinkCake]

Very nice renders and intriguing story... one of my first games like this, I'm glad that i found this one! Had to play it through like 5 times cause i wanted to experience it whole. It's a little shame that we need to wait this much for an update, but i really appreciate the quality of the game. For me there is also a little to much developer focus on side things like "secrest", forgetting this could speed up production procces but i can't argue that it's a fine asset. Anyway after playing whole two seasons i can reccomend this game, and be sure that the person checking it out will find some fun for thereselves.

One of the Best AVN games. Good Graphics, Great Animations and a well written story. The Female Characters are Hot and the Sex scenes are a masterpiece. The MC is shaped by your decisions either he's a Dik or Chick. All these Great Things makes it the Best VN. And don't forget about the details this game pays attention to. Your choices will make a huge impact and can stop you or give access to certain scenes. The Characters are fun and diverse with different personalities. If you never played this game I highly advise you to play it you will certainly have a great time playing it.

I can not point out a problem , it has something for every taste , some of the characters have so much charms and potential to dedciate an entire separate game to theirselves , I wish that someday happens ,it would be a dream coming to reality.
The parts about living in a college & fraternity and dealing with relationships and problems are absolutely beautiful to experience , it is beyond imagination.

the perfect game, i still cant believe that one man makes this game. it is perfect in all different aspects for me. The mini games makes it less a visual novel and more of a creative experience. The characters are all so well written, even the side characters are excellent.

I really like this game, most of it works perfectly, but I have to tell you something in advance. For some reason they're considering this tag-wise like "sandbox", and I'm ok with both standard VN and sandbox games but when I started this one I wanted to play a sandbox one, and was very dissapointed by that because it's not. While not being a pure VN game, I don't think the free roam parts of it make the game sandbox enough to have that tag.

Now, even with that I found an awesome game and as I also enjoy pure VN ones it wasn't such a big deal, it has great characters, development, the sex scenes are top level, renders are mostly very nicely done (some uncanny characters sometimes anyway) and story its quite interesting, it's mostly a comedy game (quite goofy sometimes) with some drama elements, very nicely balanced on that.

I have previosly played the other game by DPC (Acting Lessons) and I do think this one is far better than that one (though I also enjoyed it, there's still a big difference in terms of quality when you compare both, so even if you didn't like that one I would give this one a try).

Right now I think it's one of the games on the top of my list.

The game keeps building on and matching quality, creating interest. I guess it will probably dissapoint a bit those mostly interested in the porn part, as the amount here is quite low even in the "Others" route that was the one that usually had more of that, and those not interested in minigames that have them activated anyway for the extras, as there are more minigames here and some can be a bit too much. I like them to some degree anyway.

I just wish the developer would consider partnering so the releases were a bit more frequent (6 months instead of 1 year, for example), though I understand having problems to delegate.

Great story. Great character design & animation. Meticulously crafted.

The story is interesting enough to follow (without the porn), and makes the viewer invested in the development of story.
Technically speaking, the renders and scenes is easily one of the best among NSFW visual novels.

Seeing all the 5-Star reviews here makes me think the conditions to be a 5 Star game for a lot of people is really low.
The Game is ok until season 6 and it has a lot of content that is basically more of the same.
The Story is dull and should´ve ended a long time ago.
The writing and dialogues are cringy as hell.
The Mini-games and free roaming are tedious and stop the game flow.
Sex Scenes are hit and miss.
Renders and Models feel aged.
The MC is pretty annoying and unlikable. His path doesn´t make much sense considering the name of the game is being a Dik and you are just a Dik to your male friends, while he has to suck up to women who are also not that likable personalitywise. It´s like a feminist wrote this game.
Having to transfer gamesaves just to play a new season is annoying.
This game is incredibly overrated and i´m happy that I'm done with it.

The un-questionable GOAT. The gold standard of adult games. I've been following development for years now and its been painfully slow but every episode is worth the wait. There have been no shortage of attempts to replicate the magic of this game but none have come close yet IMO.

This is one of the best games out there of this genre. It has its flaws, but the story is so silly and at the same time interesting that you forget the porn and play for the plot. 5 stars is not enough.

the renders, models and scenes are all excellent, the story is also very decent. I would go as far as to say that the story would hold up without the adult content. The creator does not forget what happened in previous episodes, and the subtle call backs to events that you thought were irrelevant in previous episodes is nice.

Beyond amazing. The visual graphics for this VN is just.... I'm speechless, been following this game few months after its released and still can't get enough. Hoping to see what's stored for us in the future.

This is the best game ever i played. Love Jill and Bella most. They are perfectly blended with the character and their Characters are so fucking hot. I want to fuck Jill in my real life if i get one like her. So damn sexy. But i am really disappointed that i can't choose Jill for sex in the game. Really shame.

Amazing game! I think that almost everything that could be written is already in the reviews. This game does not need good reviews or advertising, everyone knows that it is at the top and sets the level, dominating so much that it sets the college theme for everyone else.
The latest update with the party (S3E9) is also great, although many people did not like that it was focused on only one party, on the contrary it seemed to me an excellent solution, since there is no such detail of 1 event in any AVN.
The only bad thing is that, to my great surprise, there is no route Sage + Quinn, although he was clearly asking for it here and would be very harmonious.

A top of the line story that keeps you hooked all the time, Animations that are present not only in lewd scenes but also throughout the story, and to top it off, enough content to keep you busy for weeks. If this game is not worth 5 stars, then no other is.

this game is very good, storyline, rendering, everything in this game makes me satisfied to judge happily that this game deserves more attention and support, what I want to convey to Dev, to continue to make more creativity and always be humble even though you have achieved great success, once again thank you for making games like this, you never know how happy I was when I played these games when they were first released in public. It is a fantastic game, since it is the second work of Dr PinkCake, after Acting Lessons.
Different from its predecessor, located in a youthful, university environment.
The music, the visuals, the plot.
I just love it, and it's not over, so wait patiently for the outcome of this wonderful game.

Downloaded it last week for the first time and never stopped playing for days until I was done with all kind of routes up to this point (End of Ep. 9). Now I'm totally hooked! The pacing is fantastic, every route/girl is great in her own way and the writing is really on point. While I usually skip through a lot of games as I get bored easily, I never felt doing it here, because I really loved the dialogues and laughed at a lot of the jokes (especially everything that involves Derek).

Overall one of the best VNs I've ever read/played, great work and keep 'em coming!

5 stars is just too little for this game. When many devs tries to copy you it means you made something great. I see elements of this game pop in others but most of the time it isn't done great.

The thing that says it all is the fact that even without the sex scene, the game would be fun to play. You're just so immersed in the story that the sex is a bonus.

I don't even know why I am reviewing this because everybody must have played this game and already now what's this is about.

But if ou're new on porn game. Don't play that game now. Try other games first because this one will ruin all the others. They will look like shit next to this one.

As I already said, the story is fantastic. You feel like you are living the life of the MC because the dev put so much details in everything.

The characters are all unique. Each one feels real with their own emotions, back story and goals. And I'm talking about ALL characters, even the male ones. I've seen too often games with one male MC and all female characters. It's great when you want to create a short and fun game but not if you want to create a real story in your gme. The dev also makes the characters evolve episode after episode. They live through stuff, we learn more and more about them so we can understand why they are like they are. It's never done in an info dump kind of way but always naturally.

One other good point is the girls. They ar ehot. Look at the pictures and you'll see. All the main ones are different and you want to see all their stories (because the harem gameplay is impossible to do ater a while, the girls don't like cheaters). Even girls I didn't like at first became my favorites once I learned more about them.

Th designs are superb. The dev really worked on the decor and they are evolving throught time like real places.

The mix between VN mode and freeroam mode is really well made. It makes certain moments really important because the dev switched to freeroam where you can walk around and see plenty of things.

Finally, the music. I don't know how he does it but the musics are incredible. It's not just low quality free music but real songs I never heard before. They are always good ones and placed at the right time. The mood in the scenes is just exceptionnal because there is always the right music to set the tone.

All in all, this game is a genius mix of everything a game is about. I'm not saying it's impossible to not like the game but I don't see how it's possible either.

The only two flaw of this game are:
-the time between update is looooooong. But because the dev is doing an incredible job alone I understand. But it still sucks.
-the minigames are fun but doing it 10 times to follow each path is tedious. I advise people to have a minigame off save to do the repeats.

Coming back to BaD now out with season 9, after making your previous major choice at the end of chapter 8 it continues to be what this game has been about. Choices, and the outcomes of those choices. You are going to need multiple files with many branching choices to see all the outcomes possible with this one. With huge amounts of payoffs and punishments to be had this continues to shine as something that shows that great love and dedication to a project can produce something magical.

A must have in any self respecting degenerates collection.

I'm not sure why I'm even reviewing this other that to echo what everyone else has said about how amazing it is.

The images are obviously top notch.

The world building is incredible, and the character interactions are just great.

It's my opinion this developer's writing is criminally underrated. They have a way of writing for the masses that's just free and easy.

As others of said this is a much play, so much content!
