Wow dude that hatred towards one character is too extreme. But I can understand where you're coming from. I'm not sure if her behaviour is natural or calculated within a certain degree to receive sympathy towards her.

Her victim mentality is the most irritating thing about her. Because her father tricked him in signing this loan that she needs to distance herself to Josy so she can finish her studies. Quinn tricking her about free tuition and all.

It's kinda stupid on Maya's part believing a stupid rumours about free tuition without verifying it.

Also as i've mention in my previous post few months ago she can ask for student aid in school where she can work part time and receive money to help in her tuition problem. One good example here is when Bella offer mc a work in library to aid him in rebuilding the frat house. There are alot of ways to earn money, but Maya always wants the easy way out which raises alot of red flags

Here's the funny thing why did she not think where is the money coming from for the free tuition. Does she think that money grows on trees. It's so stupid in Maya's part for not verifying any of this thing if this legal or not. Any person with brains will figure out that there is something more to this free tuition that the sorority provide

That the funny and stupid thing Maya did she does not believe in it but she still went and go for it without even thinking about it. Also she easily trusted the word of Quinn without verifying it with Sage or the other Hots members. Another thing is the task Quinn provide to Maya which is almost impossible to complete, especially the sexual task she needs to complete this kind of thing are very questionable and can be use as a material for blackmail. Thankfully Josy's mother is Aerith

I dunno what repulses me about Maya so much. I would love to like her since she is basically the center of the universe in this game. Is it her ugly haircut? Is it her drama? Is it the "I'm lesbian, but MC's cock is the cure" vibe?

She dresses and acts so hot in her dorm and then when she roams the campus and joins parties she feels like a prude. Is she playing some 200IQ game of seducing gigachad MC to help her with the drama and will ditch him later? I don't trust her.

I like the fact that Maya has a complex and contradictory character, it adds depth to her. Especially against Josy, who can be described in one sentence: a neighbor who for some unknown reason is in love with MC.
Maya is capricious, she likes to play the victim, she wants all her problems solved for her and doesn't want to do anything about it. She is naive and gullible. But as much as you don't like her personally, she is the most well-described and interesting character in the game.
In second place is probably Patrick. In general, everything about Maya's family is surprisingly well written, apparently DPC, as in the case of AL, used his own biography to write the main arcs.
Jill on the contrary I find the most boring and most one-dimensional character in this game. I have a lot of trouble playing her branch. She only has a cartoonish conflict with Tybalt along the way and that's it. Mostly everything is perfect. And DPC himself doesn't seem to know how to add variety and drama in her path besides cheating.

Maybe the idea is boomer but possible. Working part time to earn around $20K to $30k in 6 to 8 months is possible without being an illegal job. The average salary for working student in USA is $20/month if Maya can work 6hrs. a day and 6 day in a week it is possible to earn that money. Yes she needs to sacrifice her social life but it is doable

Kinda makes Maya an idiot, the scholarship program that is provided by any fraternity and sorority still needs the knowledge of the university to make it valid. Instead she believes in rumors about sorority providing free tuition.

Sorry about that I double check the salary a student can earn and the average is 17 per hour and 6 hours per night where I work as a call center agent during my college days in my country where I work previously for 6 to 8 hours believe it or not. In USA a student can work 20hrs per week if there is a school but during semestral break they can work 40hrs per week as the school mandated.

Honestly this is what you get when you don't teach your children, she's obviously had her life handled for her by her control freak of a father.
