Funny cuz speed of development it's been the same since 2019 altho in 2019 he didn't have a workstation that print renders.

Episode 3, 4 and 5 combined have 7277 renders, 390 animations created in 394 days.

He did more renders and more animations in 2019 as for today with a biiiiggg workstation.

Since with weekly status updates, would make them look very smart if they also an abandoned tag on it, almost as smart as having the twins tag they had for the longest time.

Quinn at this point is "Others", and doesn't have a dedicated route (not a main LI, at least not yet). I personally think that her route will end forcibly with death or jail, eventually, but yeah, her stuff is great.

There is zero belief that the game is on hold, and definitely not abandoned.

The updates keep getting bigger (arguably unnecessarily), and so the development time increases appropriately. The developer communicates to his patron on discord and via his Patreon site, and detailed status updated are presented every week.

So the only other reason for the game to be marked abandoned on this site would be if the development time exceeded 18 months (an arbitrary date set by the staff of F95).

So in a nutshell, it isn't marked abandoned or on hold because it isn't abandoned or on hold.

When it comes out in a month (give or take), it will be a very big update, bigger than a lot of complete games on this site. Is a lot of that bloat? Possibly, but it is what it is, and it isn't what it isn't.

Some side girls are going to get their own endings. We don't know how many or which ones, but the idea that Quinn wouldn't be one of them is ludicrous.

Between the episodes of seasons 1 and 2 you get a small report on how you are doing with Jill, Isabella, Josy, Maya and Sage. They are the main girls. Everyone else is a side girl in the Others path. Some side girls get a lot more attention though and Quinn is the most prominent of all of them.

It could be that at the end of season 3 the Others path branches and significant side girls get their own paths, but I doubt it. And if it does I still wouldn't consider them main girls.

But her route does a great job of personalising her, but then you know, prostituting out her girls, how she treats Rio

I'm hoping by the end of the whole game there's more that redeems her for her actions, really do like her quite a lot after her route, If she has anything to do with the last scene It'll be difficult to support her without any kind of growth and redemption. I'm going to do a Rio route now, she's probably my favorite of the SG's other than Mona who left and Mel who Is more background character than side, which Is too cruel imo

Not at the end of It yet but the Quinn route has completely changed my mind about her, she's not going to make things easy I don't think but she Is kind of cute when trying to open up. I feel like she really has tried to open up, got a little laugh when I read this but It does seem like a sincere attempt to let MC know she's trying.

She gets a lot of shit but from what we saw from the flashbacks she's had a fucked up life. Raised in a drug den by a drug dealing father that encouraged her to just see people as tools and life as one big game/manipulation. She's the opposite of MC in that regard, both grew up poor with absentee mothers but vastly different fathers shaped them.

It's kinda what I like about her path. It's a slow burn change. You're seeing someone that's never remotely had any social or emotional normality getting smacked right in the face with it and she has zero clue how to react. Other than maybe Jill I don't think there's any other girl that is so out of her depth. It's simultaneously funny and endearing to play through seeing her both love and hate how close she's getting with MC. It's a change of pace from the other routes. I also like if you skip her route you see basically none of it, gives that choice meaning.

Josy's experience seems quite overrated to me, sure she knows more about heterosexual sex than Maya, but even Jill knows more than Maya, at least she knows that penetration can take place naturally without the need for lubricants.

and if Josy has actually had experiences she must have missed something if she thinks it's a problem for a man to consider it an oddity that the woman orgasms before him....

From MC's perspective, he's 18, so far his relationship history is:
a girl who abandoned him (in his mind), and is living a new life, happy with a new boyfriend (again in his mind)
A girl who he had a massive crush on, turns out she likes him too, but she reveals she has a partner, but is still willing to (attempt to) cook him a meal and fuck him
A girl who took him when he needed help, only to get him tazed, then makeout with him, then tell him she doesn't even like boys normally, and is also willing to fuck him, and makes it clear that she's not only doing it for the scavenger hunt, but because she wants to do it.

He then finds out that two of those three girls have been together this entire time. Add in the fact that he is 18, everyone is emotional as fuck at 18, has had no mother figure in his life that he can ask stuff about girls to, and at this point, his only other friend is one of the girl's brother, who at this point has shown that he has the emotional maturity of a 12 year old who has just discovered internet porn.

I don't blame him for having enough, Maya lied to him time and time again because she is emotionally reserved (Which is justified, revealing secrets with trauma associated to a guy you've known for a few days isn't a good idea), Josy was honest about her relationship status but still willingly cheated with MC.

Quinn route is underway, probably not a surprise but she Is way more likeable on her route, don't see her completely changing and being Into wholesome shit but I have enjoyed her slight breaks in her defenses.

Im not sure but I it's been a while that i checked this thread so i got surprised it has been so long without an update and thought to make a joke about it lol.

Its quite possible that if you take all renders and divide by days it actually could be among the top (from the updates i played it had a lot content indeed), now here is an idea for someone that has a lot free time, rank all games around here based on that.

They apply it faster if there is an official notice from the dev or if they've gone completely radio silent for a few months. Time limit for a dev that is active on their platform is 18 months.

It's not automatic, someone has to flag the game and the mods will look at it. They can always use their discretion.

Another game (I won't mention the name for fear of being deleted due to off topic) was into it's second year of development for the episode and had the abandoned tag applied. The devs were still posting updates, but they did sound full of shit too. So while the fans decried the tag, most people felt it was apt and the devs were just taking the piss (and people's money, not ours of course. )

But fuck DPC if he legitimately starts taking more than fucking 18 months for an episode.

How? Patreon can't demand of its users that they must produce new content within a certain timeframe. That's not how the crowdfunding model works.
