Doubtful. So far, development has increased with 2 months per episode since Episode 7, and it looks to be the same with Episode 11. Meaning that if the trend continues, Episode 12 will most likely take 15 months. While long, it's far from 2 years.
Dude, stop making a fool of yourself, will you? Episode 11 will most likely take 15 months.

It's not, unfortunately.
If ep11 comes out in march(which is 90%), it will take 15 months( one year and 3 months) to develop ep11.
On average the next update takes 3 months longer than the previous one. Then 15+3 =18 months ( one and a half year).
The 13th episode will take 21 months (one year and 9 months) by the same logic.
He can stick to 15 months and during the development of ep12 at least because of a sense of prudence. A year and a half for development is insane in every way.

Happy Friday, DIKs.

This week, I've continued to work on art.

I'm up to 6995 posed static renders - of which 308 are in the render queue.

I'm up to 389 posed animations - of which 66 animation files are in the render queue.

I also added Discord rich presence functionality for Episode 11 this week—I'm almost done with it.

I only have two scenes left to pose, and I estimate I need to pose a maximum of 150 renders before I'm done. I aim to complete this remaining art next week and continue working with Music/SFX and other coding tasks.

I can start polishing the episode within the next two weeks if all goes well.

Have a nice weekend

Not so fun fact, if you look at the data from the 13/09 report and today's report we can observe that DPC only rendered 56 animations in 90ish days.

Now sure, that number doesn't account for duration nor if any were merged, but that is still a depressing number considering his hardware.

60 fps were a stupid idea then, now and forever more.

Most animations should be on the shorter end being from lewd scenes.

The statics should be rendered in a week at worst, then it will be a full on struggle for the animations.

I really hope my march estimate is wrong and the EP comes out in Febreaury, but I don't think it will happen unfortunally.

Yeah, who doesn't want to share that you are playing a porn game with their friends lol

Beta took 2,5 weeks last time, it won't take less than 3 with a update this huge.

Even if all animations are quite short I doubt a January release would be possible considering thw Beta periodo.

DPC average is already quite lower than 1 animation per day considering he started EP 11 animation work while EP10 was still on Beta.

The render queue should only finish by very late january, anything faster would be a miracle.

Being a DIK fans don't get those...
Simps are always refusing to look at numbers, they predict release dates based upon feelings. :D
You always put up useful statistics but it seems many people simply refuse to look at actual historic data.
Note that not all his PCs are dedicated to animations as of today. Once he finished rendering still renders (which will be done rather quickly), he'll probably use mutliple PCs to render animations (let me cope ok?)
I presume all his RTX 4090 Workstations are currently occupied by animations, except one dealing with static renders (he can renders thousands in a few hours, one is enough, 4090s are really fast and his scenes are normally not that complex). So when statics are done, adding an extra Workstation for animations won't speed up that much the queue.
He probably codes on a laptop because it would be nonsense to have a 4090 for coding, setting up music and so on. It makes sense having a laptop where he could still work while out of home, while all his machines are rendering the queue.

He has started beta testing before the final animations were finished in the past, iirc. My recollection is the final animations were inserted the week of the last release, or maybe the week before. Still you are probably correct about the 7-8 weeks part, so mid-February seems likely.
"Beta testing" is not that. The "polishing" is done by DPC only, and he does that before the animations are done. Beta Version is AFTER that. He never released the beta to his helpers without animations, so beta will start as usual, when the game is ready and packed with nothing left to render.

He has averaged 4.3 animations since September. This is low.

On the 5th January he confirmed 63 completed animations. This included a bunch that had been done during the polish and beta testing as well as over christmas. If we count 5th January as 0 and take 63 from the overall total we get this 323-63=260. 260 Animations over 49 weeks is an average of 5.3 a week.

He has 66 animations to complete. At 5.3 a week he will finish rendering in 12 weeks or 7th March. If he only manages 4.3 (things may speed up once the still renders are cleared) it will take 15.3 weeks, rounding that down a little to 15 gives us 28/03/2025. I think there is an outside chance of render completion in February but relistically a release much before April will need a very quick polish and beta period. Frankly every time i've given him the benefit of the doubt with these forecasts it's ended up being the slower end of expectation, but things could speed up a bit. I think a release is Feburary is all but impossible now, a release in March is 25% and 75% in April.

I think in September I said February 7th plus beta testing. I dont think that will happen now. A reminder that when Pink says he rendering at 60FPS is just as quick this is bullshit. He hit 335 animations on the last episode on week 48. This epsiode he is at 323 on week 53.

If you want to be an optimist then maybe now the big animation is done, things will speed up in general, and when the stills are done this will add a boost as well. It could be a bit sooner.

According to Discord:

So something else we all asked for...
Fuck yeah, totally worth the wait! Now we only need a couple of scenes with Madame Rose, like 6 och 7 would be nice, and then a handful of scenes with Sally sprinkled in for good measure and this will be a great episode!
