EP.9 took 287 days to produce. EP.10 took 357 days to produce - which means it took 24.39% longer to produce than EP.9. If we follow this logic (which may be completely flawed) EP.11, if released on March 7th, 2025, will have taken 27.45% longer to produce than EP.10. If all subsequent episodes take an average of 25% longer to produce than the previous episode then your guess is not so far-fetched.Haven't you noticed? Dr. Pinke loses more time with each new episode. Episodes 9 and 10 were released in December, but episode 11 will be released at the earliest in early February. Since episode 12 will be the finale of season 3, Pincake will definitely work on the episode for more than a year.
True, but with Episode 9 he started polishing October 28 and released on December 16. It all depends on how much polishing is needed.A friendly tip. (or advice?)
DPC started the polishing phase of EP.10 on October 6, 2023. EP.10 was released on December 8, 2023. In other words... Don't expect any updates before February 21, 2025. I'm sure EP.11 will be released in March.
Yes, but I think you can turn it off in dc somewhere.Wait, by Discord rich presence, does he mean the status bar so you can tell all your friends which virtual girlfriend you're currently bonking? Feels as helpful as the sharing feature on those porn websites where you can show everyone what a degenerate you really are.
it's normal. development is not a linear process, i'm a dev myself. DPC is not a dev studio he's a guy working on his project, he's not asking for your money, there are people who donate to him, some people donate to girls' OF, ask yourself which is better, supporting the guy who spends his time on something that clearly is his passion, and he does it damn well, or "supporting" some retarded sluts that do nothing. Everybody choose what they do with their money. The fact that he did not address the fact that it has been a entire year without an update, for me, is just plain absurd. It's not normal or acceptable.
Depends on what is most important, quality or quantity. He could cut away a lot of content and lewd scenes to release it earlier. Fewer girls, fewer paths, fewer choices. But would that make people happier? The fact that he did not address the fact that it has been a entire year without an update, for me, is just plain absurd. It's not normal or acceptable.

I completed posing all scenes this week, and after that, it felt like a whole new world of steps in development opened up, which means I've reached the polishing stage.
I have coding tasks left here and there, but all the scenes (story + lewd + branches) have been posed and written, so I can finally start playing the episode for real and polish the rough areas.
Before playing, I quality-tested the special renders and lewd scenes. I ensured I could reach 100% collectibles on a mini-game playthrough and unlocked all lewd scenes. I then tested that all rewards and lewd scenes were viewable and playable - this step usually results in many bugs, and it was a bit buggy this time, too.
After finishing with that, I started playing Jill's branch. Most of the static renders in the render queue are in other branches or late game, so there weren't a lot of missing content areas.
I reached a part of the episode I knew wasn't coded properly - a big free roam - and fixed all the code to make it playable and work as intended.
While playing, I found issues here and there, be it renders that need to be touched up or re-rendered, code that needs to be fixed, or dialogue that can be trimmed/altered. I don't stop to fix that while playing, as I don't want to lose immersion. Instead, I keep playing and make notes in the code for all these spots. Once I reach the end of the episode, I fix all the issues immediately before playing another playthrough. Rinse repeat.
I just finished my first full playthrough of Jill's branch, and I overall think it was a long and eventful episode. I have made over 100 notes on issues to fix, and I'm currently fixing them before I continue playing.
I also worked some on Episode 12 planning to ensure that I had all the story I needed in Episode 11 in preparation for the season finale. Checking the plan ahead of schedule is a great way to ensure all planned content is considered. And from my plan, I could tell that I don't need more story content in episode 11, which is great.
99 static renders and 61 animations are currently in the queue. It will mostly deplete from now on, except for any renders/animations that need to be re-rendered.
This is how my days will look like from now on until beta testing. I will play, make notes, and fix issues. I have the following tasks left to complete:
SFX & Music
Coding & Other tasks
- Some scenes still miss SFX & Music, and I want to expand the song selections in some areas after playing the episode.
Polishing
- Rooster needs 1-2 more clucks.
- The phone gallery most likely needs a few more images for some branches.
- Phone chats are near completion, but I don't want to remove this bullet point until I've played all branches.
- Add Bios to the entire episode. It's a couple of hours worth of work.
- Add girls and their lewd events to the Stats app. It's less than an hour's worth of work.
- The end of the episode report needs to be written.
- The "Previously on Being a DIK" section needs to be written. It's in the planning stages and will take a couple of hours to complete.
- Discord rich presence functionality needs to be quality tested before being considered complete.
Play through all branches and all conceivable variations to quality test the episode.
Play the episode with a focus on
Fix all issues encountered during playtesting.
- Overall story
- Continuity
- Spelling/grammar/words/dialogue
- Inspecting images and animations
- Music & SFX analysis
- Checking that phone apps/stats update accordingly
- Mini-games (winning/losing)
- Mini-games disabled mode
Add any content that I feel is missing.
My thoughts on all this
Now it's time to cross the t's and dot the i's and ensure that the hard work pays off for me and you. I hope you understand what I'll be doing daily from now on, and I'll try my best to report this process throughout. Polishing the episode will require time, as will the 61 animations in the queue. Once all static renders have been rendered, all my systems will work on animations, and the speed should see an uptick.
This year, I'll be taking December 23-24 and 31 off and work as normal as possible other than that.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you!

I just play the game so I can talk to you guys about itNo wonder you play porn games
Strange that DPС has not yet made it mandatory to link to patreon's account or his discord to keep the game from being pirated...Well he will probably spend extra time during ep12 development for that.
"If it works for AAA devs, it'll work for me!"Another very popular developer with many games out and in development just put out their latest update and you had to be linked to their Patreon to play it to stop piracy. It was cracked within an hour and a patch available here in about 3 hours to get around it.
I wonder how much time they spent setting up this great idea to combat piracy, that someone cracked immediately.
DPC would just be wasting his time.

The first times I used the search function here I ended searching in google adding f95zone (Until i found out the advanced options)
For some reason it seems people just love to overexaggerate the next update times. Some people are so damn pessimistic. I've seen estimates for episode 11 to be released in August 2025.Why would Episode 12 take 10 months longer than Episode 11?
