A week seems quite apt to me, but everyone has different milage. My argument has always been that once a piece of media is in the public domain, it's open to any sort of spoilers. Obviously there are some who are courteous and avoid posting, but there's always some who'll want to discuss the game in detail. It's a simple fact, if you don't want to be spoiled, consume the media as fast as you can and stay away from anything you can spoil yourself

Even tv shows and movies you can give spoilers the day it comes out

I think you're onto something here. I've always said if the thruple was to breaks up Dik/Chick status will matter. That is to say, you'll end up with Maya as a chick, Josy as a dik and the thruple stays together neutral

You play a really smart MC do everything perfectly without cheating and are a polite kind guy friendly to all. Then Chad assaults you (make sure you don't have dildo helmet) and you let him beat you up. Then you start on purpose failing all tests and behaving like completely different person, do whatever you can to be rude to your friends and fail everyting. I call this run "The Brain Damage".

Thoughts?

Well yeah, once some things out of there box, you can't exactly put them back in. The simple fact is if you don't want to be spoilt, stay away from things that might do that for you.
TV shows, games, films, books. Whatever the media Wikipedia alone usually has a full synopsis hours after release.
Yeah you can be nice and try to hide stuff for others, but you can't generally stop people discussing an item that is out there.

Heck one of gaming most biggest spoilers, a certain characters death has been in the public domain for years, yet in the recent remake people were airing on the side of caution discussing it. You can't look after people forever

fun fact, dpc banned me from patreon because i did not take the riona cliffhanger graciously
well, its either riona meltdown (not making any deaththreats like a crazy person, just saying it was evil to make such cruel cliffhanger as its going to be painful to wait years to see what happened), or the fact i was discussing the cliffhanger when my patreon level wasnt supposed to play the game yet. (tldr, i was highest patreon tier when i became patreon, but between me becoming patreon and latest update another 5 patreon tiers appeared out of nowhere and i was still downloading the game from f95 instead of looking for links in patreon as i dont like navigating that site)

Status could matter but I think who MC spends more time will matter more or at very least will be part of it. Josy seems to be neutral more then dik so I think neutral can still get solo. I have been told chick player but with enough diks points can get Josy to flash him in ep9 if that true then that could be a death sign for dik players with her but only time will tell

EP.9 confirmed Riona's importance in the plot in the next chapters. Even though the MC is only friends with her, the dialogue between the two in EP.9 already made it clear that Riona will have a great importance in the plot.

I'm referring to the scene where the MC tries to cheer up Riona after she finds out that Quinn told Tommy that Riona is using drugs for free.

A moment that few noticed, but DPC left a foreshadowing about the MC killing Vinny. "I'm here for you if you need me. For real. And not just for killing stuff." This dialogue happens if the MC confides in Riona, which can be done as in the friendship or love route.

I wonder how many people caught this badass reference while the MC 'killed' the monster that was bothering Riona. Whether as friends or more than that.

Riona is here to stay.

I left for two months when I came back wasn't able to log my og account so that the reason for new account. Same old Darkwen and as Mel Brooks once said it's good to be King

Pretty complicated word, but I think it will simply refer to upset of ordinary routine for many characters and people who seem certain way revealing it was just a facade. Some example of which characters could have the "paradigm shift":

Nick, obviously, with his love for Heather and possibly being involved in some shady stuff.
Josy trying to be good girlfriend to Maya, but having feelings for MC.
Ashley struggling to give Derek a chance or not while clearly having nice chemistry with Anthony.
Lily clearly harboring some deeply personal agendas while only exerting careless attitude, that will crash and burn sooner or later.
Chad and Troy coming out of the closet!?
Beth, is she a puppet or perpetrator of the smear campaign?
Will Jill's anti-bullying campaign develop and if so will MC be used as example of bullying or being bullied?

I'm sure there are many more examples of characters who have foundation for a shift in their story. I don't think it will be something as crazy as your affinity flip unless it's done in a way where MC goes through an event of "realizing he behaved irrationally thus far" and then have a CHOICE to flip affinity. That could work, but I still doubt it.

Yes, I was joking about changing the MC's affinity. About the title of EP.11, it could mean many things.

My guess is the following:

• The MC will be seen by people in a different light because of the DIKs' paranoia about a supposed traitor among them.

• The MC will find out something about his mother and her family that goes against what Neil told him. Making Neil not seem so perfect after all.

• Some relationships, friendships and love affairs, will end because of past choices. Ex: Tommy and MC because of Heather, Jade and MC because of the video, and other choices...

• Some relationships will become stronger. Ex: CHICK MC and Quinn, MC and Rusty, MC and his beloved, etc...

Brain damaged kinda already feels like the default run already. The MC somehow misses a close friends second name, never defined his relationship with Zoey, never asked his Mum's maiden name or surname, doesn't ask Bella for details on her husband. Has this fucker heard of the concept of questions. Not to mention his complete meltdowns over Maya and Josy as well as Zoey despite his supposed emotional maturity. And my absolute favorite potentially cumming in Nora about 10 minutes after she just said she wants kids.

Guys lucky he can play guitar and has a big fuck off tallywhacker because he's a bit of an overemotional dum-dum.

Quick question. What's the moratorium on spoilers? The latest update has been out a year now. And with so many branches, there's no telling what anyone has seen or not seen.

While I doubt he'll kill anyone but Vinny, isn't killing popular characters what authors do though? Precisely because it causes an emotional response versus a minor char getting splatted. Riona is also more disposable than Sage, Bella, Jill and Josy & Maya since she's not a main girl. Rio been popular feels more like a motivator than a deterrent if he wants a death.

Rio is not main girl, she dont have a dedicated path. probably most of her fans have another LI.
so, what i want say
-losing her wont be a serious damage for the game. especially considering that the players will have a year and a half to calming down before ep12.
-there are some examples like Game of Thrones (Ed Stark). bad things can push up the hype or something.

Heather previously got a new nose, now Elena and Sage asses growing, Maya's bigger fake tits, then HOTs' bigger lips... there is only an explanation, in EP11 there will be a new location: plastic surgery room. Also new minigame: bimbofication.

Bella has natural ass. Sage has squat booty. There's a difference.

AL is fucked up as hell. Saying it won't be as dark as AL doesn't mean anything, honestly. You may not have to choose who lives and who dies in a fire, but that doesn't mean DPC won't kill off any characters.

Maya and Derek's mom won't make it to the end of the game alive. I'm sure other characters won't either. The list of names that could end up dead in a convincing way is extensive:

• Quinn (depending on the path)
• Riona (depending on the path)
• Lily (depending on the path)

• Tommy (caught in the crossfire)
• Buddy (killed by cops, MC or Quinn)
• Vinny (killed by cops, MC or Quinn)

• Neil (accident)
• Stephen (suicide)
• Derek (illness)
• MC's grandfather (illness)
• MC's grandmother (death by natural causes)

The list could go on... The point is: don't expect a bed of roses and rainbows in the next chapters.
