I think the cat is jealous. It's not uncommon. I've heard of cats scratching new lovers. As for the wine glass, it was proberbly just bad luck of the act acting up. But for fun, DPC put in the "did the cat set him up" idea. Sometimes cat does things that make you wonder "did the cat plan this?" and then sometimes they're complete idiots. :p

Yeah, that also annoyed me. But like I said, I think it highlights a problem with their relationship. She tries to treat him like an adult but when something happens, she acts like he's a kid. Unlike Bella, she hasn't had time to get to know him and let their relationship grow. Bella started by always treating him like a delinquent, but now Bella tries to meet him halfway. But Nora expects him to be like someone her own age, and when something happens, she treats him like a kid.

You can't have a relationship with someone like Nora and not have drama. Same with Jade, Cathy, Nicole, to name a few. The drama with them are commin.

Well, 19 is still a teenager. Especially older people usually consider them that.

Most of them, no. Especially those who there haven't started anything with yet. Considering DPC have said that the last season will not be a normal season and more be about endings, there's just 2 more episodes to start anything serious with someone.
I'll do my best to give my honest opinions despite what I think of the characters.

Let's be real, adulthood starts when you start working full time. For some that's a little earlier, but for a lot of people that's mid-twenties.

Well, as we know, the next episode will be called "Paradigm Shift", and in Quinn's case, in my opinion, this will be most clearly expressed.
As we remember in episode 6, she very harshly presents herself as a kind of "badass" who solves her own problems and does not ask for help.
But there comes a moment when she can no longer do without help. She is forced to ask for help.

Of course, Fuckface will not refuse her, he will turn on "Home"Fuckface"lander mode" and kick asses for everyone who deserves it.

But for Quinn, it will be a turning point. She won't be a "badass" anymore, she'll feel vulnerable.
Probably, and I am inclined to think so, that in the upcoming episode there will be a radical change in Quinn's character.
That would actually be really badass if it happened that way. I barley dare to hope that the MC gets involved in getting Riona back but there has been a lot of build-up for what happened so hopefully it will be more than just a quick fix in secret at the beginning of the episode.
I can agree that if things go that way, there is a chance for Quinn to work out.

Can you refresh my bad memory, please? What do you mean by Bella's omission?
I could be wrong but perhaps the omissions' are in regards to her past experiences as a student in college with the mistakes she made that contradict her behavior now as a teacher? Like she can be heavily critical of some things but in the end doesn't or at least refuses to mention why, neglecting responsibility.

I think the chemistry minigame was planned for a long time, however maybe not in detail. There have been hints about a later introduction to a science class from the start. But making it Nora was probably a much later decision. I suspect that he needed a science teacher and while looking over the characters he had already created he decided that using her would create some drama.
I have to admit that I wasn't a big fan of Nora becoming the MCs teacher since I was already unsure about his decision to make Bella a teacher (but I get that a lot of the library was done and that he proberbly felt a new place to meet her was needed). But since Jade won't be the MC's teacher anymore, I guess he felt he needed a replacement for her.

Speaking of Jade, I expected something to come of her threat of failing the MC if he turned down her advances. It would have been an interesting situation but I guess DPC felt there was already enough drama there.
precisely, Nora is a content related to the chemistry course minigame, to get the course you needed a female professor (it's a porn game, male professors are just passing through) and Nora occupies that box.

of course i'm exaggerating, but i don't think i'm going that far away from reality, BADIK didn't need a new SG teacher, but DPC needed a new minigame

Nora ends the relationship with MC because otherwise she would have to make it known to the college and she does not want to do that.

while Bella then tells MC that there are no problems for their relationship (always possible that she has warned the college but it seems highly unlikely)

Nora and Bella don't have exactly the same role but at most there might be stricter rules for Bella and not more permissive ones

Y'all do remember that Quinn's restaurant is supposed to be blowjobs only through the glory holes in the bathrooms? They're not fucking for money. That was all MC's MDS (magic dick syndrome). Anything above BJ was just for fun, and Quinn would have been pissed off about it, and was when she did find out.

Riona is different, as she's experienced a lot of sexual trauma, and implied abuse, in her past, and can't cum from penetration. In a lot of ways, Riona is the most psychologically broken of the non-LIs, though there is a lot of competition in that group. She is really hot, and really sweet, but I think a lot of that is confrontation avoidance due to past abuse.

Totally agree! I think the whole Riona situation it's the perfect moment in terms of narrative for Quinn to have her wake up call! And it makes sense, even it' too late..or not, let's hope for the best!

The glory hole, yes. Because you pay a lower price. But not the restaurant itself.

I agree on that.

But instead of anything that plays off emotion or character to derive drama from (like with Bella), DPC just has the cat knock over the wine glass.
Perfectly plausible in real life, but it's cheap as hell for this story.
Hold on. Something does not fit in your explanation. You criticize the lack of drama/character dumb comedy and underline your position with the example of a cat showing down a wine glass as an act of poor storytelling and then you do not connect the dots you just have presented to us?

To be fair, the art is very important to Nora so them getting ruined is a big deal. It also shows that despite it all, Nora can't let go of the fact that the MC is a teenager and when things happen, that's how she treats him, not as an equal.
This. I tend to agree with him.

If something (sensibel) gets damaged or ruined you have a strong sentimental or another kind personal bond with you get mad, sad or something else. This is indeed an act of drama. You complain about something and point something else out in the same sentence which actually contradicts your statement.

I do believe you that there a some poorly written places in the story and we surely can dispute about it all day but your example does not count in my opinion. Different personalities, experiences and views to certain topics distinguish us all and explains different opinions but tis doe not justifiy it. I do not mean i t as an attack. All i want to show it that this scene do not fit.

On the subject of Nora's kitty, do you guys think it's crossing the line into stupid comedy that the cat was willingly trying to sabotage the mc's shit?
Cats have (obviously) their own personalities. One can be a cuddle monster, another one loves to play to showes stuff over the edge. Others truly do it deliberately. No doubt. Call them asshole all you want but they do it. Why? Who knows. :ROFLMAO:

I don't.

"Riona is different, as she's experienced a lot of sexual trauma, and implied abuse"
o_Oo_O

Yeah nothing like that is indicated in the game. She simply Fucks around to much wihtout Emotional connection
You don't get that broken by just fucking around. It's classic signs of past sexual abuse. In fact, I read about a girl similar to her, only it was in high school. When the teachers found out what was happening and the police looked into her past, it turned out she had sexual trauma and abuse in her near past.
But I agree that the game hasn't given anything direct so it should be "implied sexual trauma and abuse".
