I 100% agree here. Also Netori = GOOD. NTR = BAD (unless you're into that, I don't kinkshame, but I don't play those, either).

We do not know the actual details of the relationship. I'm not even sure if it is confirmed how long they were together. The closest is the flashback of Rusty and Tommy founding the DIK fraternity two years ago, but the brief interaction might be Sage chasing after Chad rather than already being in a relationship. there is a 1% opportunity that Sage is exaggerating because of the anger of the moment, but it is really hard to think that those words mean anything else.
the only leverage to make the situation less unbelievable is to assume that actually the relationship between Sage and Chad is quite short, in the flashback we see Sage already buzzing around Chad but it might have just been the beginning of a long siege, which doesn't really improve Sage's situation that much but at least it makes her less stupid
