Idk why the main links for Season 3 don't already include it, but the 0.10.1 patch is simply a bug fix. I'm sure you can play the game without worry of it completely breaking everything. If you want peace of mind, download the patch and think no more of it.

Once Episode 11 drops, it will already include the changes from 0.10.1, but also undoubtedly come with its own bugs (and subsequent patch).
