Do you really not understand the phrase "isn't it about time"? It implies that something HAS NEVER HAPPENED. It's not what you say when something hasn't happened for some time.

It is not clear how long Chad and Sage have been together. It may have only been months. Yes, she is shown to have a thing for Chad in Rusty's flashback from two years ago, but her behaviour is more like that of a girl chasing after a guy rather than already being in a relationship. And since she is still wearing the old uniform she likely hadn't become the HOT's president yet, so she wouldn't have had enough status to be Chad's beard yet.

Chad's conversation with Troy implies a long relationship. They most likely were already together when Chad started seeing Sage officially. There is certainly no reason to think being gay is a recent realization to Chad. He may even have formed a pattern with bearding girls. First he does the guy version of playing hard to get to make sure the girl is actually into him. Second get together and act aggressively possessive in public, but act shy about sex in private to buy time. Third start making excuses about performance enhancers. Fourth break up with the girl because "he doesn't love her". Lastly stay "single" for a time before getting a new beard.

Well Sage didn't because she delegated the task to Quinn, plus she was pretty worked up and stressed due to her parents being in party. And even talked with MC that she's avoiding the party for that reason.

anyone think that it's kinda sus that nick was basically one of the only people (and the only DIK) with his full face and body covered by the costume during the halloween party? i feel like it might have been a play from him to get a sort of "double" into the party that noone wil question the authority of. Also when MC speaks with Leon at the party, nick doesn't say anything and just watches as MC talks to Leon. I feel like both occasions are what sage would do, either fuck them and catch feelings later since she is a kinda a romantic or the friendship turned into a relationship. Okay but Jill is different, when you go on a date with her, she says about the three dates and then the deed. Rusty obviously failed one of those dates by not being himself aka being a dik around his friends and jill (She does not like that one bit).

This makes perfect sense if our assumption about the 2 years ago flashback are wrong, and Sage was just chasing him at that point and they got together just a few months before Fuckface came to B&R. A few months with no sexual progress is enough to make Sage frustrated and think he cheats, Jade think he is gay and doesn't contradict the wording used to describe them.

Bottom line if the relationship was not long term, it doesn't portray Sage as retarded anymore, just blindly in love/having a crush putting up with his 'shyness' in the bedroom. Also, Sage is not a virgin before Chad either way so It wouldn't change anything, like I said before, if the game doesn't make a big deal about a girls virginity/lack of experience than the opposite is obvious, we don't need details that can be easily inferred from her scenes with the MC.
