I didn't say Jacob was a traitor. I said that he is the least revealed character in the story and said that it is unknown whether this is either done on purpose on the part of DPС or it is his scriptural error.
In fact, very much so. We know that it was his father who bought the mansion, we know that he was throwing money around from the beginning of his enrollment and wanted to join the preps and take over the presidency. And of course we know that he had a date with Jill and probably has some romantic feelings for her.
He's Vinny's friend, has romantic feelings for Heather, and was one of the first to join the DIKs.
Are you intentionally exaggerating or just haven't played the game? Jamie and Leon's line starts as early as the second episode where Leon manipulates Jamie into joining a threesome with Arieth.
Jamie is in a toxic relationship with his girlfriend Dani, he broke up with her and got back together because he missed her. He is perhaps one of the most revealing characters in the game because he is in stark contrast to the other guys.
Leon and Jamie's friendship is one of the longest arcs that stretches the entire game.
Absolutely nothing is known about Jacob except that he's a cowardly bitch, drawing and acting like a bro. He's very boring, he's not conflicted and has no memorable traits.
In fact, he could be removed from the game right now and nothing would change. Seriously, nothing. He's completely useless as a character.
You're describing scenes, not character development. I can play this game as well.
- Jacob was in a drinking contest with Tommy.
- Jacob pointed out to Rusty that MC fought Chad.
- Jacob prevents MC from sleeping with Sage at the DIK party.
- Jacob has sex with Arieth either alone or with Derek at the DIK party.
- Jacob either saves Derek from ridicule or saves MC from ruining his college life by using his secret code.
- Jacob chooses to go to the HOTs instead of shoving a vodka soaked tampon in his ass.
- Jacob sleeps with Clara if the Alphas are removed from the HOTs.
- Jacob gives MC advice on growing a beard.
- Jacob gets proof from MC that he's on a date with Nicole.
- Jacob is the artist for the artwork MC hangs in his room as well as Derek.
Would you like me to continue or do you understand the difference between scenes & character development?
What does having a threesome with Arieth tell you about Jamie & Leon that the threesome that Jacob & Derek have with her don't?
The same can be said about all of your points.
Rusty's parent's are rich. So are Jills & Tybalts. Rusty's father buying the mansion & fixing it after the Alphas throw dildos threw the windows tells us nothing about Rusty other than he comes from money. Rusty's date with Jill amounted to him being rejected. Just like Jacob was by Zoey.
If Jacob's last name was Burgmeister & his father purchased the mansion, would he then be a more interesting character?
What does Nick being one of the first DIKs tell you about him? Absolutely nothing. Nick's friendship with Vinny only highlights the suspicious nature of the character. Nick literally spent the entirety of Episode 9 in clown makeup speaking zero lines. And you say Jacob is useless.
What we know about Jamie as a character is he has homosexual tendencies. He can be easily manipulated by either Dany or Leon. He likes botany. And he can't take a punch.
So in order for a character to have "memorable" traits, they have to either be gay or bisexual, have rich parents, be in a relationship, or have a drug dealing friend. Cool. Good to know.
