Here's some more speculation... about why Isabella doesn't like to be called Bella.
Bella is the name she used when she used to be a stripper/pole dancer, and doesn't want to be reminded of those bad old days.
Well... why not?
Oh, by the way, can you picture her and Jill jogging... without sports bras? We could start a pool; how long would it take one of them to get a black eye? [The yoga scene after Tybalt comes in, got me to thinking about that]
You might want to try No More Secrets, A Mother's Love (no, it's not incest) and Reluctant Archon.
Also, DMD and Melody if you didn't played them already.
I'm also assuming that you played City of Broken Dreamers, if not, give it a try. ^_^
If you think about it, the jocks have helped us by interrupting the HOT's pledge. I'm now less inclined to antagonize them more than necessary...
The recap method, now feels more natural and gives a better indicator of the affection levels.
Is there a Leah in this? Well.. It's a thought competition between Maya and Sage. However I don't think Pink will do another psycho.
There was also lots of going under the surface moments.. steve showed some integrity, Derek has a past girlfriend that probably broke his heart, Cathy thinks about MC as a teacher assistant, and with the emphasis on Dave's stupidity we might get an ally among the jocks.. There was also some interesting development with Bella, I have my theory on why she's so hostile to the MC... But people I talked about it, don't think Bella is Jill's biological mother.
Quinn... didn't like her before, now I hate her. Maya having an outburst of rage... that was delightful, makes her even more perfect since she now has some flaws, but the real star of this episode was Sage, and not because of what she did with MC but because there was some proper character development.
I ended the first chapter with chick 9 score. It went to 0, and my choices were in perfect balance. I still believe that the best outcome is in the middle of the system and it will be a teaching moment about life, just like the ending of AL for those that pulled through the darkest hour. I can't wait for the pledge tasks... Anyone guessed what was on the blackboard?
Well, that's obvious. They shared the stage (and pole) back then. So Jill is the only one allowed to get away with it. Jill was called Trixie, at the time.
I doubt that Sage is Leah-like, but we had better be careful if we get 'close' to Sage, and keep hitting on the other girls! Look at the extent she has gone to, to find out Chad's side-piece. [That render with the military-grade binoculars still cracks me up, whenever I see it.] The MC or other girl might not wind up as a crispy-critter, but I don't think we'll like the result.
I find it very hard to get into this game because I get the impression that Dr Pinkcake is the Rian Johnson of adult video games. His biggest desire to surprise people by subverting their expectations instead of providing a satisfying and coherent story. His previous game, Acting Lessons, was really bad for sudden twists that completely derailed the established plotlines and turned the final third of the game into a smelly old dumpster fire.
I've already had my expectations subverted with one character in this game, albeit a very minor character, so I'm fully expecting much more dramatic twists later on for the main characters.
When I play this game, I don't anticipate how great it will be when we finally get the girl. Instead, I'm trying to figure out how awful it will be when we finally get the girl. It's a really bizarre feeling. I can't get emotionally invested in any of the characters in the game because I'm certain that none of them will get a satisfying ending. I end up just playing out of morbid curiosity because I want to see what absurdly melodramatic twists will be shoehorned into the game.
Here are my current wild guesses as to what the big plot twists will be:
Anyways, those are my guesses for the inevitable plot twists. I'm still enjoying all the eyecandy, but the story doesn't grip me at all. I just can't get invested in these characters when I don't trust the author in the slightest.

Very interesting. I don't believe any of it will happen, but it was a good read and well thought out.
You, like so many others, seem to be suffering from PALSD Syndrome. I can certainly understand. Trust has been lost, and will be difficult to retain.
Bad things will probably happen. Whatever happens, though, I doubt that it will be as radical as Acting Lessons. But we won't know that, until the game is over.
Let's just keep playing. It should be an interesting ride... whatever.
This game does have the premise to show some part of the comedy like revenge of the nerds. i hope we get something like that where Try Beta will ask the Diks for help against jocks, where you will be doing certain quest to humiliate the jocks in the name of the try Beta.
Or see it like that this game get spin-off where you play mc from Try-Beta or Try-Alpha so there is many possibility to move forward in different angles.
So far a great game, would have to say my fav would have to be Jill followed by Isabella, and after seeing that render of Jill sitting at the music that was playing i think i fell in love with her.
My speculation about Jill and Bella's relationship. Bella's husband was a soldier who suffered PTSD and committed suicide, Jill had a brother or sister who committed suicide from probably being bullied hence why Jill hates bullies. They met through a support group and Bella feels as if Jill is like a younger sister to her.
The truth is, this is still a work in progress and the story can be changed at any given time. For some reason i have this feeling this developer like to keep an eye on the fanbase and change the story based on the reactions.

Don't think so. If I would choose one developer that will write the story his way, who doesn't care about backlash, that would be DrPinkCake. And that' what I respect - author with integrity.
