What? No, the game is 5.99gb.

Not sure what else is in the torrent, but that's 5 times larger than it should be.
That torrent includes everything. English and Russian releases, PC and MAC... That sort of stuff.
Hahahahah  :ROFLMAO: You're such a copycat, Wizard... Hint: check my 666th post.

Edit: It's all good, brother. I'm glad you did that, in case you're wondering. ;) (y)
Now that you mentioned it I think I remember that post, maybe it's what inspired me but I didn't realize I ended up doing the exact same thing  . Had I remebered it I would have used this one or something.

Guys, do you think Pink's patreon will improve drastically after season 1 of BaDIK comes to Steam?
No, I don't think so.

He's currently just above 3700 patrons. I could see it possibly increasing to 4000 as S2 is being developed, but I don't think the Steam release will have much, if any, bearing on that.

The way I see it, people will either buy the Steam version, get the Patreon version, pirate it, or some combination of pirate/pay if they feel the game is worth supporting (which it is) and they use a "try before you buy" method.

That said, there's very little benefit to anyone continuously supporting on Patreon, particularly if they buy the Steam version. You end up paying like $90-$120 per season or something, so it's all about wanting to support the game's development and not many people will be willing to spend more than AAA game money AFTER buying the Steam version too.

Being able to vote in polls is nice and all, but that's for the $10+ tiers, and aside from that, the only other benefit the $10 or lower tiers get is Discord access. Woo.
*twirls a finger in the air with great enthusiasm - no really, I'm twirling the shit out of it*

So the wait for season 2 now begins, let's just hope it's not as long as the 5 months we waited for episode 4 anyone who has waited for a game 5 plus months will know how tiring that gets.

Hopefully you're correct, although according to the latest update (which N7 posted a page ago) DPC is going to be spending the next 2 weeks working on the Steam release. He's working on Ep5 stuff concurrently, but who knows if it'll eat into actual dev time.

Wasn't it also because of having to work extra at his job after he handed his notice in?

True but now he has no day job anymore right ? so it could be we will get hopefully more and faster update. and hopefully not the 5 months wait. but game of this scope is not just the renders but also the coding part. many things can go wrong what can make a delay happen.

the only thing we can hope is that he will not turn like other developers and start delaying stuff because a cat ate his canary..

He specifically said that it wouldn't mean faster episodes. He has his rendering computer 24/7 and that didn't change. There's no way to speed up that.

Yeah, he is self-employed now making his game. The issue last time was when he handed in his notice his boss made him work extra hours than what he normally did. So be interesting to see how the timeframe goes from here.
