I will also add that I thought with this new VN that I'd miss a Liam character but am rather impressed with the Derek dialog at times. It's not always quite on point but I have certainly busted out laughing I have to admit. The writing talent is so far raising the bar. As I've mentioned before, it's refreshing to say the least. Cake has a way of pulling you right where he wants to lead you and fucking with your emotions. That alone regarding any genre of storytelling in general is worthy of appreciation. Color me impressed. Absolutely. I had my suspicions with what we had from episodes 1~3. Things like introducing Elena as a nympho-girlfriend and small details in conversations. But that conversation in episode 4 with John Boy and those clucks are clue enough for me. And of course that conversation during breakfast at the HOT's where she says she's going to tell John Boy which sounds more like arranging it than ratting you out for hitting on her.
