Right. It actually makes the game a lot more linear than it could be without any benefit to it. Maybe it makes the MC more consistent, but I'd rather not be restricted like that.The problem isn't when you're forced to make decisions, the problem is when the decisions are boring. Binary morality systems lead to binary gameplay.
Take the first date with Josy. If you've gone full dick, you get rewarded with one animation. If you've gone full pussy, you get another. If you've tried to play the main character, say, as someone who is generally easy going but has a sense of humor and doesn't take shit -- a character, not a caricature -- you're in the twilight zone and you get nothing.
All the choices in ep1 follow this pattern. Every decision point is "are you DIK enough" or "are you CHICK enough", so the only meaningful routes through the game are the two extremes. Anything in between closes off options without opening others.
I like skill check restrictions in dialogue for example, but this DIK/CHICK system is nonsensical.
