I realise that's very optimistic if we are to consider AL as a precedent, but when you exclude the tragic aspects of the AL endings, it could be seen that there was a "happy ending" where the MC gets married, Liam gets back to full strength and falls in love, and the MC and his chosen LI go on to have a happy life.Hmm... I’m not willing to trust that we’ll see that happy of a happy ending. If we’ve learned anything it’s that there will be darkness and that even happy endings are still bittersweet.
sure bud, but I have to give you something else to comment on!I realise that's very optimistic if we are to consider AL as a precedent, but when you exclude the tragic aspects of the AL endings, it could be seen that there was a "happy ending" where the MC gets married, Liam gets back to full strength and falls in love, and the MC and his chosen LI go on to have a happy life.
As is often mentioned, this game has a lighter tone overall than AL and while there certainly is great potential to break a few hearts by the end of this, DPC doesn't seem to be above giving people a "happy(-ish) ending" if you do things in a somewhat "right" way. So maybe it will be possible to keep everybody alive in this one, to have good relations with ex-LIs, and to have a good life with the chosen LI(s) by following a specific path.
But, hey, a man can dream, can't he?
Arigon Can't you just edit your first post to say all that rather than multi-posting?
I don’t necessarily agree with the “lighter tone”, and won’t until we know Bella’s secret, “coerced” prostitution, drinking, drug use, and violence are bad enough but I feel like we’re waiting for the other shoe to drop.I realise that's very optimistic if we are to consider AL as a precedent, but when you exclude the tragic aspects of the AL endings, it could be seen that there was a "happy ending" where the MC gets married, Liam gets back to full strength and falls in love, and the MC and his chosen LI go on to have a happy life.

Me too. I would be pretty bummed to not get at least a full school year. Winter break and spring break are ripe with possibilities. Unrelated thought: Derek's eyes change from blue to brown? I think he looks more like Maya's brother when he had blue eyes, but more like a stoner after the change.I really hope there are time jumps. To have everything happen in the first few weeks of school would be disappointing. I like the idea of a sprawling narrative with built in time jumps.
I think you'll get a happy ending with Bella. That would be a proper character arc, a sort of redemption story. Eventually, she'll get her happiness back, I'm convinced. Jill, on the other hand...I'm suspicious. If Bella has a darker story that precludes a happy ending with her, I officially quit DPC games.
Bella is the only choice!
I know Jill is the poster child, more than any other... frankly, unless she is a thruple with Bella, I could give a shit, so if she has a bad ending I am ok with it.I think you'll get a happy ending with Bella. Due to some girls being school years ahead of MC you can be 99.9% sure the entire game will take place within MC's first year, not including some epilogue/time-skip.Me too. Not staying at Sage's is hard .It's actually not that hard; you just have to stay at Bella's. That it.
Which is sad, makes me wonder the kind of men she's ever met.And it's the attentiveness and compassion that she finds "womanish" because it would seem as though she hasn't known many guys with these qualities.
I don't think the second set is possible to win. Go for the 2-1.Ugh, alright how do you do the Tennis minigame? I've been clicking on the right tennis ball and when they are high in the power bar. This gets me through game one easy, but no matter what I do the other two games Jill wins. I looked up "tennis" on the search but I'm not getting much. I tried someone's suggestion to aim more towards the middle but honestly it felt like I was doing better when I tried for the full power smashes. Any advice?
Ever heard of the story of Bluebeard? If every pair of shoes requires a body attached to it all the time, I'd have a hundred wives.
And considering you can't call Derek or Magnar in most free roams anymore it's becoming quite hard to get their stuff and not waste any money.Folks complaining about a lack of money, are you not playing brawler/match game and taking notes for the nerds? Cause by chapter 4 I'm running out of ways to spend all my money.
I can beat the tennis minigame on-serve if I try hard, but I'm lucky to win a 'point' when Jill serves. I always assumed that was deliberate, but I never played around with it much. Just reload until I won, then save before anything crashes!I don't think the second set is possible to win. Go for the 2-1.
I think you mean college/university. School resembles too much the "landlady" type of game.Due to some girls being school years ahead of MC you can be 99.9% sure the entire game will take place within MC's first year, not including some epilogue/time-skip.
tbh its not that hard, but i had my troubles the first time ive played itI can beat the tennis minigame on-serve if I try hard, but I'm lucky to win a 'point' when Jill serves. The Android version is broken and probably won't be fixed anytime soon - so no working Android port atm! Sorry, mate!Is there have android version of this game?
Academic year begins in September of one year and ends around June of the following year so what Sage say is entirely consistent with her being a senior. That's it, I've seen one too many "Sage is a senior so her route is a dead end" post.

No she isn't. She's in her third year, she confirms this not once but twice within the same conversation on her route. Read the lines, people, DPC wrote them for a reason.
Are you seriously suggesting that students in a college setting would normally use the phrase "next year" meaning the next calendar year instead of the clearly obvious meaning of next school year? Really?Academic year begins in September of one year and ends around June of the following year so what Sage say is entirely consistent with her being a senior.
Heather literally says that Sage is a senior while talking to Riona. That's it, I've seen one too many "Sage is a senior so her route is a dead end" posts.
