Hmmm weird, I used UnRen to unpack the new files after copying them in the game folder is that what you did?
I don't remember where the files I downloaded were from

no, I did not, I just downloaded the patch, extracted it and copied it to the game folder

when I open the game on my Mac, it just says that the app can't be opened. does anyone know of a workaround or a fix for this?

Edit: fixed it by doing the following in the Terminal app: "chmod -r +X [drag app here]"

So as stated us mac users are facing some issues, I first got the error message 'the file cant be opened', I did what was recommended a few pages back about cd in terminal, however now nothing happens at all when i try to start the game, no error code or anything, nothing happens whatsoever. Any ideas?
