Neither did I, but my point has been that it's all too much too soon. If you think about this like a TV show, each episode can move the drama forward incrementally, but it's not until we get to near the end of the season that it all starts to come to a head. This episode felt like it was the 3rd or even 2nd to last episode of a TV show's season, but we're potentially not even halfway done with this game yet, so they're amping this drama up way too soon and in ways that are too heavy-handed.
I'm still holding out hope that all of this just has to be some sort of elaborate ruse DPC is pulling on us - i mean, didn't he/she clearly state that BaDIK wouldn't even come close to AL levels of drama...? At this point i'm actually feeling bad about all the times (over the past year) i've told people that there was zero percent chance of us having to suffer through an AL 2.0 experience.
And i have no idea why DPC even felt the need to just rush into multiple drama filled story lines at once - everything Quinn/drug business related, the mom stuff, Tybalt potentially sueing our MC, Maya's crazy father showing up, Jade resigning and the tape apparently getting leaked (i'm definitely missing a couple of things) - it's exactly like you said: Everything just feels insanely rushed.
And to top that off, i'm increasingly worried about getting completely locked out of certain characters content and my choices seemingly mattering less and less.
Considering the current pacing, would anybody be suprised if i told them that this game would end within the next 4 episodes? (just half a year ago i would've called myself crazy for simpy entertaining a thought like this)
Holy Bacchus Do you actually know if DPC is a dude? Getting kinda tired of the he/she prounoun hassle
Arigon You might've overshot the mark multiple times this past year regarding your critisicm of this game (or at least that's how i felt at times), but i gotta admit that you were right at least in the sense that DPC apparently just can't help himself and keeps falling back into his old development patterns.
