thanks

it's really a contradiction.

from a roleplay point of view it makes no sense not to go to Maya, who we know she needs comforting, also not going there and hanging around with Josy makes it even worse.

beyond this the scene with Josy is much better than the one with Maya ...
The Josy scene is hotter, she's so into it whereas Maya is very nervous, to be expected, so not much happens (still a major milestone). The points in these scenarios are more about catch up for Josy, the mc's been spending heaps of time with Maya earning points all over the place while Josy was out of the picture.

So I played this game around when episode 3 came out and I played it like it was a porn game, skipped all the text and just watched the sexy animations.

Episode 4 came out and I didn’t play it for a while, decided to finally play it and noticed the love it was getting, so I started from the beginning and actually played the game normally and read the dialogue. I got hooked so hard that I played two playthroughs one DIK path and one CHICK path.

The last two updates I have played on the day it was released and played both the DIK and CHICK paths.

This game is so good that I would still play it even without the sex, which I think is the biggest compliment you can give a porn game.

Regarding the recent episode, I too like most was disappointed that a lot of the episode was taken up by the DnD and found it a rather strange choice by DPC to have this be a major part of the update.

But then it had me thinking that there could be a hidden message in this…

I noticed that in every ending I got, Josy is killed by the Ice Queen (Bella), sometimes with the whole party or sometimes her singled out as the only one who dies. (Please correct me if there are any endings of Josy surviving.)

I also noticed that Josy hasn’t got much to do with the plot now, I mean her life is pretty good, got into college, she’s made up with her Dad and she is either back together with her Girlfriend or in a open relationship with Maya and the MC.

Considering that the other main girls have much bigger problems and unanswered questions in their stories and seem more involved in the whole plot, Josy seems like a dispensable character.

Could the DnD be foreshadowing for what will occur later in the game and Bella kills Josy?

I might be over-thinking this, especially as I more believe the whole mystery behind Bella is more of a red herring, as repeating what happened in his previous game is kind of boring.

But then, Bella’s mystery is the most confusing part of this game for me, I feel the other LI’s stories are more easy to predict.

At first I thought she cheated on her husband and that is why he is not home, but then she says that she forgives him and she wishes him to come home, which then makes me think that James cheated, but this is then backed up by Bella saying that she has become the thing she hates the most an adulteress, which means she hadn’t cheated in the past.

Her locked door is also worrying, but when the MC questions Jill about it, she doesn’t even know it’s locked, she is then seen with her hand on the door handle and then next scene looking like she has come out that room with her phone in hand, maybe she took a picture?

If it was anything horrific, wouldn’t Jill be more worried?

I don’t know, I’m just spit balling ideas. Lol

Lastly regarding that Jill theory of her being the MC’s aunt, please give DPC more respect.

I compare the Quinn case with the Chandra case in CoBD. They both are side characters that transcend to LIs if you do their storys right. Chandra even got put in the tab with other LIs if you do her path right.

Just because the RP points for Quinn arent showing, doesnt mean that they are not counting. For example, for you to help Quinn in ep6, you have to make specific choices that influence her (+RP) that she should accept your help.

Quinn is already a main character no matter what because she drives the bigger picture story. LI just for those who do her path (just like Chandra).

PS: Im not comparing BaD to CoBD or saying that one is better than the other. It just seemed right because of the similarity of the characters.
I think this is correct. Quinn has always struck me as more than a "side girl", both in terms of character and story-time devoted to her, and I think it's clear in the way she's becoming central to a lot of the threads that DPC sees her as pretty important too. The fact she technically doesn't generate RP at this point seems like an arbitrary way of saying she isn't a main LI, and that could also change. Everything that we've seen suggests there's a lot more to come from her, and lot more engagement with the MC if you've chosen to pursue her.

it seems too punishing though.

they could make one point each going to Maya and 2 points for Josy going to her.

circumstances, especially for a "CHICK" path, push to make sure Maya is okay

Eventually the points don't matter, if you've been playing a consistent character you're points are way above where they need to be. It's only if you keep sneaking a peak every chance you get that you'll be undermining your progress.

with the excuse of the new chapter I added a route to mine, I called it "ALL LIs". I focused on the 5 LIs, letting go of all the other ditrations (HOTs:cry::cry::cry::cry: and professors     )

a route that tends to be CHICK, I think the scores in the 5 LIs are pretty high, except for Sage where I lost some points.
