I hate plenty of video game characters, just don't see a reason to hate Papa Maya.
All he wants is for his daughter to be in a happy and healthy relationship and give him grandchildren. Which ironically enough, is exactly what all her fans want to. Every single member of the Maya shortbus wants her to be straight as well, except they want the fantasy of fucking the gay out of her, but somehow Daddy is the bad guy here.

In my understanding, parents should love and support their children.

seems like the best theory for the title, but I think it will focus on Sage discovering Quinn's 'true colour' and maybe Chad's.Quinn also can fit to this description. Her True Color finally revealed to Sage. or may be even Sage, We find out that she is very much aware of Quinn's shenanigans and she just don't care...
But my number one candidate is obviously Jill
Quinn has already been given a lot of space in the last chapter, which is not a bad thing at all, but she's still a "secondary" character

This week I worked mainly on static renders and a few animations.
Something I worked extra hard on this week was environment design, and I will have to continue to work on this and the last free-roam event next week. It will be a fairly big free-roam event, but work should be progressing at a steady pace.
I have written plenty of the script too, and I only have a handful more scenes to write.
On top of the free-roam event, static renders and writing; I have some work left with phone content, mini-games and music/sound.
I cannot estimate how long this will take, but I can feel that the episode must be at least 80% complete in terms of content (static renders/animations/GUI elements).
The final percentages always take the longest to complete, as polishing and wrapping things up are needed, but we are in the end-game of development of this beast of an episode.
Something new that I can reveal for you today is the episode title, and it will be:

Oh I don't think it will happen, but I'm just saying she deserves some focus. She has taken a back seat to all of the other LIs in terms of content. She still has some catching up to do. All I know is I can't wait to see the scene with her in the pool showing off her perfect ass in that g-string.

We don't know if that was ever actually said, we don't know the real issues between May and her daddy.
We, either directly as the MC or indirectly as a player viewing another character, have seen her father in any real capacity.
I for one, refuse to pass judgement on someone I don't know. Maybe he's an asshole, maybe he's everything Maya says and more, maybe he's Lucifer reborn, but for right now, we don't know.
We have the ravings of an angry teenage girl, anybody that has spent any time around them, either as a teenage themselves or as a parent or as a, not going to go there. Knows that they are not reliable storytellers, they lie and twist the story so that they are always right.
In a fictional story, they're usually looked at as unreliable narrators, Maya is like Sansa from Ice and Fire, did Sandor really kiss her, was he ever really there, nobody knows because teenagers aren't reliable.

but it's not even a problem of content with her, but of content in which she is the protagonist and not an accessory.

Dude has a cross hanging from his rear-view mirror in his car and from what we've been told, he's definitely a religious zealot to the highest degree.
His own son feels like he has to protect and lie for his sister to spare her his wrath.
I was raised in a pretty dysfunctional family and even I can tell you he gives every indication of being a pos based on what we've been given.
I almost cursed my own father out when he refused to fill out my FAFSA (your parent HAS to do this if youre dependent and seeking government aid in the US for college). Couldnt imagine him trying to hold my funds over me, id probably fight him at that point.
