She's not in my top 5, but I don't see why people wouldn't like her: she's pretty, she helps you when you arrive at the faculty, she lets you stay in her room more than the initial agreement, she leaves money around so you can take it, she's dealing with serious personal which normally creates sympathy in people. Not my type. Her problems do not interest me. Her attitude for me puts her into friendzone, tops. If she would disappear from the game i would probably only notice it due to angry posts.
But because i don't care.. means i don't hate. If someone hates that one cares. For me she is irrelevant. Play time wasted. Not objectively speaking, mind you, just for me. Her best feature is that i find Josy more attractive and they come in pairs.

True, I personally don't hate Maya her flaws just make her a better-written character but, I can see why someone wouldn't be interested in her as a LI.
