Those games are no just made to give some fuck meat to players, sometimes some girls are more difficult to get and end up by beeing much more interesting that any other quick fuck bitch.
Jill seems not interesting to many players because they cannot fucker her and because she doesn't behave like a cheap slut.
She is maybe the more "normal" person in that college, a well educated girl, smart, beautifull, virgin and sexy but who is not interested in beeing a slut and partying. That's mostly the kind of girl you will encounter in real life in college.

I wouldn't put any of the LIs in this VN on any scale of realism. BaDIK in general is the American college experience on a scale of 1-10 being dialed to 50.

Jill's attitude has been all over the place since her introduction up to this point. I just dont think shes written very well.

It just doesn't add up (to me) as a make or break in the Jill relationship.

To highlight this, lets look at Sage... If you passed on her route in the early chapters, you're still given opportunities with her in the later chapters.

Thing is, current Sage doesn’t really have anything to “get over” anymore... other than claiming to be in love with him. There was potential for more and I’m annoyed it wasn’t capitalised on.

She used to have a chip on her shoulder about being rejected by him. It’s what kicked off her relationship with the MC. She used to be all “nobody says no to me”... praising the MC for getting hard whilst reminding him this was just sex. But none of that matters now the fuck buddy route will almost certainly coexisting with the “waited til she was single” route (I’ll eat my hat if it isn’t). All her personality established throughout the fuck buddy route is kinda moot.

Sage was primed for something pretty unique and I was expecting it but it never manifested and now kinda can’t. I thought the Sage fuck buddy route was gonna be her doing that thing some neglected partners do where they cheat just for the attention from someone. I thought she was gonna lap up DIK behaviour from the MC because it was raw, affirmative, attention. She could have been the one girl that liked the MC looking up her skirt or bluntly telling her she was fuckable. The MC and Sage could have started as a real DIK behaviour based relationship before becoming more. They coulda been the neglected attention hungry girl and the overtly sexual guy having a meaningless affair designed only to boost her flagging ego.

Then the big twist about Chad being gay would have had some impact on the MC/Sage dynamic. Chad wasn’t neglecting her because of something about her but because he was into dudes. Sage would have to confront her behaviour and reaction to being neglected. Maybe reflected on her self esteem when she responded to neglect by staying with Chad but fucking the MC... and in turn the MC and Sage have to reassess their relationship and drama ensues. It’s a DIK route, it rewards DIK behaviour but it still has a chance for something meaningful to come outta it. Pieces are all there.

You could entirely remove Chad from the current story and it wouldn’t change Sage, not really... little of her personality was shown via him to any meaningful effect. She’s also neglected to be much of a DIK route. Sucks because the moment to moment interactions with her are some of my favourite it’s just lacking structure. It’s like DPC took a Star Wars Lego set and built a dragon outta it... all the pieces of Sage’s story are designed for one thing but are being put together entirely differently.

You get 2 different chances to get on Bella's route just like with Sage. I don't think DPC is going to give players a third. If you want more definitive proof that Bella's rejection appears to be permanent you can check another hidden variable labeled path*insert girl* the panties scene in her car takes you from "pathbella = true" to "pathbella = false"

That scene is different from the others. The girl is rejecting you and not the other way around.

Pretty much every character is anchored on a stereotype, and I don't think DPC has done anything yet to subvert that. He gives each characters a little bit more detail, but pretty much like every porn game here, the stereotypes help to speed things along.

now let's see what Chad will do: if he confronts the problem or simply asks mc to keep his secret (which he has cleverly hidden by making out in the locker room of a gym normally frequented by his enlightened jocks friends).

I'll be disappointed if the scene continues that the MC just ducks back out and Chad and Troy didn't even notice him, that way nothing has to be dealt with and all the weight is on the mc wondering what he should do. The more i play this game (4 full playthrough selecting each time another girl) the more characters like Maya and Josy seem to get non existent !
Players are all ower them just because it's the two first girls we encounter, they are pretty and funny but if you really think about them, who are they ?
They are both from middle class family with some problems, Josy doesn't like her step mom and her step bro and Maya has a religious father with a closed mind.
They have a lesbian relationship without much passion that can break anytime, they have no particulary interest in life, they are just pretty girls who want to have fun.
Maya seem to have no clue about real life problems and Josy don't care much really, she just want to be a HOT, my god what an accomplishment!
I have no hate for them, they are just boring, the kind of girl you say hello and fuck on a couch during a party when they are drunk that's all.

Although the game has played out for several hours now (I reckon play time from episodes 1 to 7 might be close to 20 hours), we really haven't gotten to know some of the key players really well yet.

My route won't end well despite the efforts... but BaDIK is an insanely long game. The more you cut fucks to get the girl, the duller the gameplay gets. At last there are great non commitment ladies like Riona and Camila. God bless them.

Having the affair with Jade will automatically cost you M&J (in that you can't see Jade if you're on the M&J route), but I'd like to think Jade is playing it a little safer than Cathy. The Cathy "affair" was an impromptu one off that wasn't planned and hence mistakes were made.

Jade on the other hand is being a lot more careful (although having said that, jerking a student off under the table during class, banging him in a stationary cupboard, and kissing him outside the classroom doors probably undermine the meticulous caution of scene in her home).

I think it was a fairly important scene. The entire scene hammered home her insecurities, and her diddling herself proved that she has a sex drive, and we see that she seriously wants the mc, for sexual reasons as well.

Would have been better if they just made out all night, but then we've all had a case of mono from time to time...

I believe it's because you've got some old mods installed. If you install the new walkthrough mod it should fix it.

But one or more LI's either had something bad happen or did something really stupid out of love for the MC. It will then be up to the MC not to overreact and forgive or to end one or more relationships by himself. There will not be such a drastic decision as in AL.

I mean look at the emergence of the relationships. MC has a crush on Josy and it's relatively easy with her (Jugened crush). With Sage it's also easy, but the relationship comes too quickly after the breakup with Chad. Jill needs time, too much time in my opinion. This love comes to me too controlled and too perfect.

The only love that comes normally is the one with Maya. Yes, they have difficulties in the beginning, but they overcome them. This relationship grows as it should. Even the sex in EP7 is as it should be. Spontaneous, passionate, intimate.

And I think that's what DPC wants to make clear to us.
Sometimes I think, against all my theories and wishes, that DPC will not give us an ending with a three-way relationship. He just does it differently this time than in AL.
