Well, the developer can't let them all die in the end.. that would be silly=)
So i'm pretty certain there'll be some sort of a "happy ending" for the vast majority of characters if not all of them..
And what would even be a bad ending?
As of now the only 2 things i could eventually see happening is something really weird going down with Quinn or with Maya.. (but that's only a maybe)
Because the story(or at least the ending) was written with in mind that it was a preguel to Acting Lessons. And he said that he didnt change the story. That means no matter what MC will do he will be alone at the end of the story because MC in Acting lessons was alone at the start. If thats true we could assume that Derek could be Liam in Acting Lessons.

I don't really see drama in that game, the overall mood of that game is mostly happy and funny. Of course there are problems like for Maya or with Quinn and Riona stalker but i don't feel that it will go as far as a death.
Maybe an agression like it happened to Quinn or some other difficulties coming from cheating consequences.

I think that the game will choose the path of the smooth solution of problems, we already got one with Bella and the panties story, no drama just a simple stop to any love relation.
We can also see the solution of Maya's problem with her discussion with Sage at the end of ch7.
We also had the Maya and Josy path end if they choose to not accept the threesome solution. Once again at that moment no drama, the love path becomes a friend path.

But it also means that the more the game will progress the harder it will be to keep more than one LI, if you don't care and do anything you want you may end up alone with only friends and no LI.
If you already didn't care much, you already have lost Maya, Josy and Bella, 3 out of 5 LI and Jill may be the next to loose if you didn't followed her path properly and made some dick pics mistakes!! So you will be left with Sage the girl who seems the less interested in the MC and still into Chad even if she denies it.

True, and I'd even say that it is the opposite of what has been proclaimed. Look at how DPC treats Jade's feminist class. The fems are shown to be objects of mockery and disdain, or at the very least they are the ones depicted as being extremists. They are fat and ugly and always shouting. Jade is a bit hypocritical about her views, so only Maya is left as a good example of feminist in game.

Throughout the game, boorish behaviour is rewarded with sex and masculinity is depicted as being fun (well aside from MC acting like a whiny little bitch boy at times). Look at Derek and Minnyy. Derek is likeable and funny where as Minny is perpetually angry. I'm quite sure that DPC even said at one point that he makes fun of feminism in game to annoy his feminist wife.
I am sorry Kellerman but i am going to take a break from our creationist friend.

You have a point. Its true that DPC make fun and ridiculize hardcore feminist. But this is the thing guys, most of the people in the left, most of us, we hate hardcore feminist. Even moderate feminist does. They are extremely violent arrogant and obnoxious. It's like a right wing conservative gay who reject neo-nazis groups and white supremacist, that doesn't mean he is not right wing, its just means he reject violent extremists.
And as a guy, and a wanker guy of course he hates hardcore feminist. They are against prostitution and porn!!!!. But on the other hand Maya is a feminist, Bella is a feminist. He sayd he had a feminist girlfriend, and even if he make fun of her they should have at least some common ground and a siimilar mind to find some agreements.

On the other hand. Hiper-masculinity is also ridiculized in the forms of the jocks. Rich people is ridiculized in the form of the preps. Liberal economics are ridiculized in Tybaults presentation. And since the main conflict this last 4 seasons was a conflict beetween a gay couple and a religious conservative, we kinda know his stand on homosexuality. And, if as both proclaim, feminism and religious are the opossite, then its always better to be portray as a comedic relief than as a villain.

So i have to agree with our tolerant and open-minded friend MandalayRoad.
I think in the context of worldwide political discuccions (regardless of what it means in Sweeden) i give DPC a 3/5 lefty. Not the best he can get but enough to be in the band.

This is how a feminist looks like:

Well true, but I think we are essentially saying the same thing. I'm my next post I talked about how DPC passes the guilt around. Hyper feminists are shown as crazy and annoying. Hyper masculine jocks are shown as arrogant assholes who have closeted tendencies. But then DPC balances it out by showing a good feminist character like Maya and a good masculine character like Neil. He isn't targeting one particular group for destruction, whether it be religious or political. If people look hard enough they will see that he giveth and taketh in equal measures. I'm not sure about the other stuff. I just think DPC enjoys teasing his wife and he also enjoys a funny story. I don't believe he has some wild political agenda with BaDIK.

OMG, OMG, OMG, Poor MC has no Idea what He is about to Experience:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

what do you find hypocritical about Jade?

within the limits of the context of a porn game, therefore inevitably male-oriented by nature, she seems to me a coherent character

she's a wife who, despite being in a weak position in relation to her husband, both economically and professionally, stands up to him even publicly. a woman who isn't afraid to launch into an adventure (let's compare her to Bella) that has no sentimental ambitions, it's sex, very pleasurable sex.

Jade seems to me a strong character and, if we must use the term, feminist in a positive sense.

From the Q&A i got the story probably wont get a happy ending since it was supposed to be a preguel of Acting lessons and he said he didnt change the story expect it not being a preguel and we all know how MC was at the start of the story. I just hope it wont have another depressing ending like acting lessons because i really didnt like that one. Also that your choices didnt matter at all in that game. So saying that he didnt change the story makes me nervous.
He already learned his lesson from AL. He jokingly said it will not be darker on an AL level (at least not a death of LI). I can imagine immoral acts happening to the MC, probably on Massive DIK path like prostitution, drugs dealer. In short a rebel, and a loner like our Quinn.

having mc turn into a drug dealing pimp would be funny as hell, it's a reasonably good ending for him & quinn

You should read properly and also everything.:D

From your original concept, has there been any significant deviations?
Aside from scrapping the idea that the game would be a prequel to Acting Lessons, the outline since hasn’t changed much. It has been expanded with more story events and sub-plots.
So far, the only deviations are that some events have been introduced earlier than intended, while some events have been pushed back for later.

Will there be some relation between Being a DIK and Acting Lessons or any future installments?
No, the games aren't related more than that Being a DIK was initially meant to be a prequel to Acting Lessons. Some ideas coined in Acting Lessons made it into Being a DIK, like the fraternity name and Hell Week. You'll even see Angela and Hedwig sporting the HOT sorority clothes in a dorm not too dissimilar to Maya's dorm in Acting Lessons.
Despite some of the similarities, it's best to treat them as independent works of fiction. Their stories won't intertwine at any point.

Derek tips off the MC. I don't think it only applies to Cathy. Maybe Josy and Maya fans should take note after the hangout in EP5.

And be careful in Swyper. Arieth is definitely a trap. There are different girls behind the others. Just compare the poses. Leon also warned the MC about Swyper, that you could meet a girl on campus too.

Catrin: (EP4 Quinn, Lily)
Ellie: (EP4 Ashley, Sage, Josy), (EP5 Lily)
Ida: (EP4 Maya, Josy).
Paula: (EP5 Jill, Bella)
Micha: (EP6 Josy)

The MC checks the girls according to their appearance. The girls check the character of the MC. It is for example strange that the MC and Elli talk about her breast size. There comes me but immediately the first visit to the Pink Rose in mind.

Here we go again with this prequel fake news.

What DPC actually said was that the initial story concept of BADIK was a prequel to AL. However that idea was threw out the window, into the dumpster, and trucked to the landfill, early on during the development the initial BADIK release.

BADIK is in a different universe from AL and what happens in AL has no bearings on BADIK, and vice versa.

When i was younger i used to go in a bar where a lot of whores, pimps and any kind of perverts where spending the night after "work". I remember that there was a guy i knew from highschool, who's name was Jean Luc, who had become a trans and was "working" there under the name of Virginie. At that time we called him/her Monsieur Virginie!!

But i have a question why that Madame is getting so much attention, yes she seems to be a higgh class MILF who has a kink to work in a strip club, so the mask i guess. Who is she, maybe some of the DIK's mother (hello Dalli!)
Damm ! I guess you can never know what your high school friends could become in the future. :ROFLMAO:

And now that you mention it Madame does look like one of the Diks...

Being a college professor in a position of authority, but yet actively engaging in the sexual predation of a student in her charge. A key tenet of feminism and equality of genders is fighting against the power imbalance often associated with relationships such as teacher/student, boss/empolyee. Disclaimer, I'm totally fine with Jade doing this to my MC. I would have a loved to have gotten it on with one of my teachers. Just pointing out the hypocrisy of a first wave feminist doing it. Fem dom and feminism are not one and the same; although, they can be related.

Another (to a lesser degree) would be Jade's apparent superficial dislike of Bella. Perhaps something else has happened between the two off screen, but they seem friendly enough prior to Burke asking for a threesome. Bella's great crime? Refusing to fuck a Burke. Is she not her own strong, independent woman? Can she not decide what man she wants to sleep with without incurring the wrath of another "feminist" woman? And Burke being overly attracted to Bella isn't Bella's fault. Jade should be solely upset at her husband for that, not Bella.

the fact that Jade goes with a student is part of the context of the story, the story of a porn game whose protagonist is a student

and her behaviour doesn't seem particularly predatory to me (minimal compared to MC's in general), her approach to MC is very playful, she wants to have fun

we don't know how it went between Jade and Bella, for sure Bella doesn't like Jade either, even towards Cathe she would have reason to be angry always because of Burke but she forgives her so I don't see a jealousy pattern there. the impression is that Jade doesn't forgive Bella for judging her negatively ( and considering Bella's apparent inflexible morals it's no wonder)

Derek, I take everything you write seriously, damn it.

Man, now I'm really starting to like Madame. First Chip's post now yours. :ROFLMAO: As hideous as I initially found Madame, if she turned out to be Tommy's mother, I'd be hitting that VIP room the very next time Tommy and I were there together. I'd want him to see me going in there with her and I'd give him the old wink and two gun finger point that MC gave Tybalt. ;)

I'd probably throw up during the act, but it would be worth it to see the look on Tommy's face when I walked out zipping up my pants. DPC needs to put Monica in the game regardless...I want her.

Anyhow, I don't find this game to be subversive in any way, honestly speaking feminist reprezentation in this game is spot on, i know 2 gay dudes Who look Chad's boyfriend so that's spot on as well.

I roll my eyes at the boogieman Christian father trope though. I don't even get how Maya's oppresed, she gets to live by herself, no roommate to disturb her, father even pays for her shitty social worker degree, is that the worse a christian father can do? LOL, maybe Maya should get a job if she believes her father to be so ofensive :ROFLMAO:
Lets remove the religious element here for a moment. Maya's father has a key to her dorm. He can come and go as he pleases in his adult daughters dorm room. Can you not see the problem here? Do you not see how this can be considered oppressive? Do you consider this normal behavior from any parent?

Yeah man, I second that. She is such a hypocrite that she punished mc in sexual labor in janitor closet instead of physical labor. Which feminist does that, shame.
