The subject of Cathy.
I'm not sure where DPC is going with this character beyond her leaked photo drama. She hardly seems worthy of being an official side girl with a pet name and all (while Nicole gets nothing??)! One car beej in almost two seasons and that's it. Saving a main character like Jill for the end is one thing (because it's kind of a porn game trope), but a side girl? The whole point of a side girl is to provide some meaningless sex while you wait for your main LI to warm up her engine.
And now that Cahty is departing B&R, the chances for interactions will be severely diminished. Even if this arc is exactly what DPC planned from the beginning, I don't see much fun in pursuing a bitter ex-teacher who won't ever be at campus. MC doesn't even have a car (a problem for hooking up with non-students). How embarrassing to require a woman to pick you up from school for a date. I accepted it for Jade and Bella I guess, but now we will have Cathy picking us up as well? I'm sure she doesn't want to visit B&R. And how about Nicole?...with a child's car seat in the back? Nothing more pathetic than being driven around by a woman if you're sober. MC will have to borrow a DIK's ride or crack into that 5K to buy a shitty used motorcycle (and some independence) so he can at least ride off campus to meet up with all of the MILF snatch he is accumulating.

Apparently, we will see the backstory of Bella. This was the case in the season 1 finale when we were told about the story of Josy and Maya.
There will be memories of her husband, how they met and how they lived. Let's remember season 1 again.

3) smoking weed or not.
My assumptions about difficult choices

-This Rusty thing is probably something that will start in the next episode, aka there was no set up for it. like the Sage one. She definitely, nervous for asking help from her family, to help Maya.
I think she's referring to internal affairs.

New Ep's Intro never relates/matches to the Previous Ep's Ending scene most of the time, except for MJ Relation.
The most possible intro should be a Chad and Troy Flashback explaining about their relation just like Ep4 Intro.

Tbh Ep4 ending and Ep5 intro are related too, as the DIK's formation flashback gives context to how the hell week list and evaluation all came to be.
Ep1 ending/Ep2 intro are also kinda related, they both reveal how the DIKs operate (and break campus rules) and their relationship with the HOTs, and while Ep2 ending/Ep3 intro aren't directly related they do follow chronologically.
Even Ep6 ending/Ep7 intro are similar in how they reveal the familial problems of different characters.
That just leaves the Ep5 ending/Ep6 intro, but my memory's rusty so maybe someone might find a connecting theme between them too.
I agree some sort of Chad+Troy flashback is plausible as the Ep4 and Ep7 endings are both quite sudden (albeit hinted at). Perhaps we'll learn why Troy was kicked out of the Alphas?

-MC being electrocuted isn't related to Tommy and Quinn flashback.
-MC's Evaluation isn't related to Rusty forming a new Frat.
-MC becoming DIK isn't related to Quinn's Childhood at all.
-Maya's situation isn't related to Jill's Childhood at all.
I agree how they reveal the working of DIKs and HOTs, how every character has/had familial problems but I hope you understand what I was trying to say.

Now ofc, it's not impossible that DPC did a mistake when he formatted the page. But i find it quite unlikely, and the other episodes got the correct text linked to them as well.
It's not too farfetched that for example the culprit in the "Cathy nude" isnt done with the DIK'S yet. He might even be after Rusty specifically as Rusty would have taken the brunt of the punishment if there had been any.
Another slight possibility is the elusive "guy whose name I just can't remember now" was a DIk, lived in the library before the MC.
I just mean that it's certainly possible that the trouble for the DIKs or maybe specifically Rusty isn't over yet. And is just waiting to make itself known in episode 8.
Or ofc, Rusty's stress for the "immediate future" might be something else altogether, unrelated to for example "Cathy's nude pic". Maybe something with his father,? He did refuse Rusty money for the mansion and that might escalate.
After all. If i remember correctly, Rusty's dad actually own the mansion still. So if 5hqts not a problem now, it might very well be an issue in the future.
