No patch for only ep 8 this time round. DPC has upgraded the game with the latest version of Ren'py so we all need to download the whole game this time.

If you're DIK, you may as well not even bother with Jill. I haven't looked at all of her scenes in the ep 7 script yet but every one i've seen involving the MC has conditional logic that breaks on DIK affinity.

DPC created a new variable, ep7_jill_jealous that caps out at a value of 2 depending on your status with Josy and Sage. From what I can see, it's only used to decide which scene fires off with Josy and Jill in the bathroom but you never know.

Regardless, if it turns out bad you can just enter "ep7_jill_jealous = 0" into the console and you're fine. It's not a persistent value so it'll probably be renamed if he does something with it in ep 8 tho

  • EP8 is actually considered average in renders (19.7 vs 19.8), but leader in animations (1.70 vs 1.15).
  • We can clearly see these new GPUs since EP7, kicking the animations ratio into 1.62 vs 0.96 average. +69%
  • Episode 7 was the most efficient/generous, when Episode 4 had the less rendering made per days.

19 gb is an incredibly huge game! It's almost like one and a half 7 episode. At the same time, episode 7 was big and intense. There were dates with all the major LI (well, except for Sage), a big mini-game on the renovation of the mansion, a party at the Hots, big freeroams at the Diks, Hots and in the library, several important scenes.
And interestingly, the repair mini-game will only take 2 rounds.
The only explanation for this size and the time spent is the separation of the routes of the main LI, each of which will get a unique event. You won't be able to go on a date with Bella and Jill at the same time, which confirms the words of DPC about months of conversations and new theories. Each of them will have an important plot event. But at the same time, it's scary to think how long the development of episode 9 will last if there is a separation of routes.

the moment I found the release date of the next episode from their discord, it made me jump . finally after 7 months of waiting, this is what I've been waiting for

Dude, you're overthinking it. The overall size depends mostly on animations and you can shove them anywhere. They got +43% in numbers so the new ep. overall size got roughly +the same. That's it.

It's just a variable bro. Every game you see on renpy could honestly be coded by someone who took an Introduction to Computing course, none of it is complex. You're just changing a value

And what I meant by the Jill masturbation scene is as a DIK player the number of lewd scenes with Jill you're going to miss out on, which im about 98% certain will eventually close her route, will only increase from this point on. Jill is not a DIK LI.

It's a great list, but I STILL want to know who's at the door:

I would extend the questionnaire, some dark stuff is not mentioned there:

• Who is behind the Tybalt fake account on Rooster (it could be Lucas).

A MC with Maya and Josy might be at a crossroads too.
A MC going for both Bella and Jill might also be at a crossroads.
A lot of branching will happen apparently, our saves will multiply
