I don't think our game choices do matter, anyway.

MC knows who Stephen Burke is: Stephen Burke is the man who controls B&R's finances and the whole tuitions' thing.

There is no way Stephen Burke is not acquainted with Maya's family, a wealthy family which most likely funds B&R: MC realized it on the spot.
Let's face the true : Tremolo is way too dense and dumb to understand that

Cheers, appreciate the response. You could be right about Quinn studying. I guess a few conversations have led me to believe that Quinn and Riona are in college for the business end of things principally, maybe even exclusively, to meet their obligations, whatever they are. Recall the conversation they had in episode 7 about the fact they "barely got in", plus Quinn's complete disinterest in even discussing what her major is in the hangout, and Riona's comment to Camila this episode about the reason she's doing what she's doing never being about college for her. But it would be a nice twist if Quinn turned out to be really book smart too!
Yeah. In this convesation between Camila and Riona, Camila asks if she have failed any class yet and she says No. In my mind, it means that she is still "passing the tests" probably cheating? She says she is dumb, but I find her pretty smart. About Quinn, you could be right. Maybe the reason why she is in college is because she made a deal with the Dean. The deal that gives them this "scholarship" and that got Mona expelled for not wanting to have sex with him. If we start thinking this way, She could have done this deal without Riona knowing exactly how they got in. She thinks she still has to study, the reason why she is worried about her grades, while Quinn doesn't give a F*... That is something to think about.

the problem is bad writing on DPC's part. its a confluence of events hap-hazardly put together instead of being painstakingly thought out so it actually makes sense depending on the choices each individual MC could have made
I don't think so. The reason why Maya's fucked up is that Stephen Burke is Stephen Burke, and Maya's dad is Maya's dad, a powerful and wealthy son of a bitch, no matter what the MC does.

B&R simply exists because wealthy families created and funded it, and Maya's, Jill's and Rusty's families are among those families. That's what the story is telling you since day 1: all B&R students (and their parents) are equal, but some students (and their parents) are MORE equal than others.

Love and sex VS money, wealth and class divisions: this is what BaDIK is about.

Speaking of cheating, who put those answers to the test in the bathroom. At first I was thinking Lily, with her little wink to the MC, but I'm not sure.

i dont really agree. MC shoudnt be freaking out if you have ignored both Sage and Jade. I dont think it makes sense in that scenario, yet it plays out the same for all our MCs no matter what your relationships are like

Why would my MC care that Maya and Jose were dating? Why would my Massive Dik/manwhore MC care that Sage is an adopted Burke? If anything, he would burst out laughing and bend Jade and Sage over his lap. And why would any player care about Zoey showing up? But you already know every MC will, regardless.
Yeah, the more the game goes, the more awkward some neutral dialogues/lines are getting, despite all the dev's effort.

By the way, I won't bother writing a long post, no one will read it anyway, at least now but I will say that despite all the shortcomings and straight up cringe this ep contained I liked it. Less so than 7th, which is probably my favorite (6 or 7) but still, highlights are carrying this shit.

The ending was very sloppy though, ngl. And the interwining, the fucking interwining, man! Fucking insane :KEK:

As someone who usually heavily leans towards serious romance/monogamy and vanilla girls like Jill... My Massive Dik/Others playthrough is by far the most enjoyable. You get way more scenes, you can laugh at any stupid drama, you get the most fun interactions... and you get gals like Jade, Quinn, Envy, Lily, Sandy, Melanie, Sarah, Camila, Riona. Like holy shit, it's a no brainer. I still do other playthroughs for each girl, and they have nice/cute scenes, but as a whole they're much less enjoyable.

I didn't have to pay Melanie in my Massive Dik playthrough. I mentioned liking her to Quinn at the hangout. Man, their Episode 8 scenes were great. Mel and Sarah are two of my favorites and I hope we keep seeing more of them. A lot more.
That's why I clicked "other" on my massive dik playthrough it's just way more fun than all the serious stuff going on

The crash after the windows thing isn't a crash, it's actually a cheat check causing the game to quit.
I've attached a quick patch, but feel free to look for other calls to renpy.quit() (there's also a check for the filename 1NewCheatMod.rpyc as well as for the game running on Android).

Tried this multiple times, deleted the game and reinstalled it. Still get the crash everytime, can anyone help?

Why would almost any MC care except one very specific path where you made one very specific choice earlier? It makes just about zero difference. I felt DPC thought he had to insert that, just to keep up his reputation :p

DIK has been massively more enjoyable since the start. The whole premise of the chik route always felt flawed because you still made so many decisions that make no sense with it. I sympathize with DPC because his only choice was basically two separate games, but so much seems weird in the chik route.

One thing that really took me out of the game this episode was at the party in a chik route when they say "oh look the diks are here this is going to be legendary!". Why? What the hell have we done for it to be legendary? The way DPC kinda elaborated on the DIKs as characters was mostly to give them a softer side or make them less "one-dimensional" but it just makes the whole idea of the DIKs very flawed. If you're a massive DIK there's enough stuff that's happened that it feels kinda special, with you somewhat reviving the whole vibe, but otherwise...yeh.

I dunno, I think now with the break before next season he might hit a very hard reset and funnel us into two paths and two paths only. With side girls being side girls. We'll see, but if I were DPC I'd flip everything over, restart, go for a "one year later" and have all the unresolved issues resolve themselves, cheaply but fully. And use that to funnel everything into the two routes (example - Maya/Josy and Jill/Bella become friends or something and it turns into more or less one route). People are massively disappointed, their choices didn't matter much, BUT the next episode starts fresh and has a chance to have fun again instead of DPC spending 10 hours untying knots.
