VN - Ren'Py - Being a DIK [v0.10.1] [DrPinkCake]

Wow. Just WOW.
This is seriously the best porn game I have played. It's only the first episode and this game is better than any game I played in my life. I am kinda new in porn games community, but I played a few games already. Some were completed and some were still in development. This game feels like a full game. Some 1.0 versions of games are a lot worse than this. I beat the first episode today at night (I stayed until 5 am cause I couldn't stop playing) and the hype is through the roof. I couldn't be more excited for this game. But now is the worst part - wait until game is completed (I don't like playing games update after update. I like to have a full game and play it in one go). Renders and animations are AMAZING. Seriously the best renders I have ever seen. Girls are AMAZING. Seriously the best, sexiest and most beautiful girls I have ever seen in a porn game. I love pretty much every girl, but the best girl for me is Jill. Before playing my favourites were Maya and Sage and I couldn't decide who is better. But then Jill came out of nowhere and boom - she became my favourite. The story is looking pretty good and looking at Acting Lessons I am sure that it will develop and there will be a lot of twists and emotions. And last but not least the soundtrack is awesome and Dr chose some really good bangers. I love all the rock songs. I love everything about this game and I can't wait when I will be able to play the full version.

Fantastic renders and animations, coupled with a new (ish) take on the college setting, puts this game in a good position.

Story is quite well written so far, with some interesting scenes and scenarios, and choices that do ACTUALLY MATTER!

Dr PinkCake has possibly hurt himself with this initial release, as the quality is obviously expected to be maintained over all future releases, and that'll be a tough thing to do.

All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable release, and I look forward to what comes next.

i can think of few words to describe this game and one of which is "masterpiece" why you ask? because...
as always i love how the story is written and how each character's personality and actions seem real and genuine,the renders look absolutely beautiful, the comedy actually makes someone with a dead soul like me laugh at times but then again if you have played "acting lessons" by same developer and enjoyed that then this will definitely be your cup of tea, personally i like how Dr PinkCake allows people to choose between lovers instead of just either getting all the girls or none of course i hope there will be more distinct choices in the game about whom to chose and how to interact with each character much like real life, anyways this is still in first stages of development i strongly suggest trying this and enjoy it as it is one of the best first releases you will ever see. i wish there will be more updates.

Potential to be a all-time classic if it gets the proper level of support for the developer. There's a variety to the cast of female characters. The humor in the dialogue works well enough.
The minigames do fit into the story but are still somewhat tedious; what's great is they are skippable though it's at the expense of "dik" points and losing the chance at acquiring a "special render". At least the trade off is somewhat fair.
Overall, this is an impressive early effort in this ambitious undertaking.

Fantastic first episode. It sets up the settings and characters really well. Its only the beginning and I'm sure there is a tons to come. This will definitely top ActingLessons - huge improvement in renders as well. Looking forward for more!

This is hands down the best first release I've ever seen on this site. Amazing renders, great amount of content, well thought out characters, and fun story progression. On another note, usually I'm not a fan of mini-games, but those used in this game actually fit and are fun. I have never become a patron to a Developer after a first release, but I think I'm going to change that. I can only hope future updates are as amazing as this first one.

Reaaaally nicely made animations and renders and the girls... are just yummy!! and the story is good too and that Derek guy is funny as hell it's not often I read the text in games, but I do in this one and thats rare for me

and nice work on making the game easy going, so you dont get lost and dont know where to go, like in other games and just wanna say again, REALLY nice animations!

this is a masterpiece... from the story, to the humor to the daily life of a college student, it's funny and challanging, choices do matter and there's n alignement system.
the minigames might be hard for some, but they bring new dimension to the game

While the game's only just released the first stage it's already amazing, it shows how much DrPinkCake cares about the game, and the playerbase I'm excited to see what the future holds for this and his other projects.

I have to say that I'm VERY impressed, I loved AL, so I knew to expect BaDIK to be of at least the same high quality, but DAMN! Everything is vastly improved, I don't know how DrPinkCake does it, haha!
Art is stunning, love the writing, each character has their own distinctive personality, yeah, even the jocks, but holy hell are the ladies hot hot hot! :hearteyes:
UI is simple and easy, love the music, voice acting is a cool addition, I mean, just wow
And it's a very big introduction to the game as well, lots of content and it's only the first release
And it also seem that despite all those plentiful tags up there, well, what you get, depends on your choices, and pretty much every choice matters, so need to be mindful, at least that's how it seem so far
By the way, I must mention the animations, they're some of the best animations I've ever seen, real smooth!

Absolutely great start, beautiful art, can't wait for the next update!

I'd give this first release an extra sixth star if it was possible, I'm just absolute impressed by this release, it leaves me speechless, and that happens like never, haha!

EXTREMELY well done for a 0.1 !
Normally I hesitate for giving a rating based on a 0.1 version, but this release got so much content inside, that it might also be a 0.3

PRO:
- those renders are really well done
- the story setting (college, campus) is different from other games (new roommate....)
- the style of writing is excellent and not just "short-sentenced"
- the gameplay is also different from other games (dik- chicken-path which depends on your decitions and which slowly starting to exclude the opposite path)

CON:
- English Test is kind of "heavy" - I suggest to read spoilers for non-english-natives to pass the english test 100%

Warning (no pro - no con - just objective information):
- Just after reading a few lines you will recognize that you have to deal with big emotions (positive and negative).

I am looking forward to the journey of emotions while seeing this project continue, and i just can recommend this game for now.
