Numbers at last, 700 renders, but there are still many scenes to be posed. Just as he says that many animations are still to be done. And here we have two ways of looking at the situation, the pessimistic one, where we can say that the render count is low for the amount of time that has passed since the release of episode 8 (subtracting 1 week of rest plus a week of covid) or being optimistic and believing that the work just started on January 6-8 when the work was finished due to the release on steam and gog.
I still see end of february/beginning of march as a release date. (which is still much better than my initial idea of April).

Hoping good recovery for DPC.
We finally got some numbers to speculate! In the dark, I over-predicted by the double the actual renders numbers.

• At 700 renders, we now have a 11.1 renders/days; -44% from average.
• Finished animations could be around 30-50 since DPC wants to make longer/complex ones.
• DPC estimated being "more than half" done with renders; 60-70%. Aiming around 1000 renders.
• Seems to get closer to the size of EP1.

Yes, it is true, but we must compare against DPC itself, not with others. Anyway the general message is understood, you will never get anywhere else the content that DPC puts in each update.

Seeing the table of mpa71 a little more than half of the work than the first episode and looking at the data from episode two I don't know if it would be very optimistic to say that the interlude could come out in 70-80 days of development with the Covid problem that he has

It worked for the 1 to 7th chapter.
It still work with the 8th but you won't have anything skipped in the 8th, it will still work for 1-7 though.
A nice mode to have from the 2nd playthrough onward.
The only pbI have with it, you can't skip the D&G part ...

I've been thinking about my own joke theory.

What if we took Neil and the MC out of the theory and put Rusty and Tommy in instead?

The intro to EP5 shows a Jill probably comforting Isabella. Shortly after, we see a Tommy sitting on the stairs with torn and dirty clothes. Heather rolls by with two broken legs. Might Rusty not be a good driver? He hits Heather first. Rusty's dad sorts it all out. But later there is a consequential accident with James. Tommy buries the lifeless body and Rusty makes sure that Tommy can go to college.

James, however, survives and takes a long time to get back on his feet. He comes back and wants to take revenge on Tommy and Rusty.

Also a nice dramatic story that won't happen that way.

So what you mean is a "kill Rusty" tarantino style story ... it would have more foot fetish in it then this game!

godkingxerxes Zoey is 1 year older then the MC so we can easily cramm it in 2 years action story making her 18 at the time... hell the goose stuffing could be her birthday present ... and there are renders with Zoey with a bottle off hard liquor... guess now instead of a rebellious youth your mind will turn to a traumatized youth?

love the style but you are aware that a cat fight with guns tend to go a bit different then regular cat fights right? i mean, i am sure that they can not hold a gun for shit but still stray bullets can have terrible impacts normally with plenty of side unintended casualties... like the MC`S Dick who is the biggest target in the room!

This hasn't ever effected me, but I never know what to expect from a game when they say 'don't play if you're easily offended'. Sometimes I play through the entire game and literally can't tell what they could be referring to. Other times slurs are being dropped left-right-and-centre.

Some people would be offended by graphic displays of sex and nudity - although if any of them are stupid enough to download a porn game, they deserve what they get.

Where you get that message in a porn game, this is usually why: it's to forestall any Moral Majority lunatics who are going to download it with the deliberate intention of being offended and trying to get it banned.

I'm not offended by the game (but I don't get offended easily) and I don't want to open a hazardous debate, but one can be offended by other subjects than sex or nudity. The game makes quite a lot of use of stereotypes, which people may see as attacks rather than comedic caricatures. This kind of message is nowadays required to forestall any ethics questionning.

And while the game is tagged quite widely "for adults" in online stores, its content more pornographic than erotic calls for even more caution.

that's all marketing, BADIK is a very comforting story, with a huge attention to not create unpleasant sentimental situations, in fact I would say that as far as love is concerned is a pretty safe trip

I think that message was kind of a failsafe for DPC in case people find his story outrageous. Let's not forget, people actually threatened him with physical harm because of the ending of AL, so it's kind of a way of him saying "I told you guys."

That being said though, if he pulls the same shit again, it won't be shocking as it was in AL. It's going to be perceived as poor writing and label him as a one-trick pony.

Nora is the other MILF teacher and I wouldn't right off the CathyxJade threesome yet for "Others" Walkthroughs. Group sex was kinda teased in Jade's motel sex scene too. It would be strange that DPC made a big deal of knocking you off the Bella path (even though a choice was coming at the end of season 2 anyway) cathy BJ basically equals the same outcome if you don't choose Bella at the end of season 2 right now.

Huh did not know Nora was a teacher, but yeah she is HOT (maybe a bit hotter than Cathy!)

I really really hope DPC doesn't buy into his own hype, thinking he's George R. R. Martin and just start pulling off random shit just for the sake of it and thinking it's good writing.

By the way, that Bella flashback is really weird. Like what if at the time of the flashback James was already dead and she was practically talking to herself and that's why her boss sent her home. Besides, that guy in the background's reaction once they are outside is strange, which really makes me believe that she imagines that James' is still alive and has some serious issues.
