I hate that line from Maya. No woman on the planet cares about or is interested in a dude's mom (dead or alive) and nothing makes a woman drier than listening to a man who talks about his mom. And Lynette story time is instant boner killer for males. Even topless landlady shots can't save it.
That's some severe mother-in-law complex ;) Ofcourse you're not gonna talk about your mother when on that romantic date, but showing absolutely no interest in the others family and friends is just as much a no-go as bringing it up on the wrong moments. I see no problem with Maya being interested in MC's mother, it's MC that wants to know more of his mother to begin with so it's basicly being interested in MC's life.

BS. When have you ever heard a woman in real life say, I want to know more about your mother, please tell me all. Being interested in family is one thing, but a woman wants to know that she is your number 1 and not number 2 behind mommy. If you talk about the mother she will get vibes that you are childish and are not ready to leave the nest. I will say that Maya is the exception to the rule, because she is just bizarre.

No come on bro, just because you don’t understand the irrational Maya and Josy hate that doesn’t mean you have to hate another Waifu like that.

Like I said this scene sucks but it makes sense. But I do understand why you hate her… I mean compared to Sage (your favourite) if you don’t visit her when she’s sick, nothing changes !!! You still get all the same scene and she doesn’t reject you, in fact, you have to reject her at least twice to tell her that you’re not interested. They are basically opposite.

And no I don’t think Jill will snitch on you about Bella. I’m sure that they will both be mature about it, there is going to be a tearful apology scene and they will remain friends even though the situation is complicated. It’s way too early for them to be exposed. I’m not saying it won’t happen, but not yet.
My hatred for Jill is caused by the fact that she is a rich capitalist bitch.
Mayа as a feminist should have a positive attitude to socialist ideas because the fucking founder of feminism was a socialist. But Jill. She is extremely patronizing and arrogant towards MС. Just remember their dialogues.
1) Jill says that sleeping on a soft bed is nice, but it doesn't matter to her - a typical example of capitalist hypocrisy. If she had been offered to sleep on a mattress, she would have refused with contempt.
2) For MС decides that it is important to him that MС is a dirty and sweaty servant under her command. This is the side of thinking of the capitalist princess.
3) She is offended if she was rejected for the sake of Sage, who, unlike her, decided to become the leader of a women's commune and not enjoy the benefits and influence of her parents.
4) She constantly emphasizes her superiority. She reminds MC every time that she is rich and he is poor. It's incredibly annoying. She invites him to a sushi dinner where she and her friends laugh at his lack of education and poverty . This capitalist scum!

Not on the first date ofcourse, but you are forgetting real life is more then first dates, ignoring family and friends at some point will be a certain dealbreaker, after you know you like eachother you will also want to know about the families. Yes a mommyboy will not be a desirable man but you're not gonna know that's the case if you're not interested to begin with.

But to bring that back to Maya, how on earth you figure a guy that you know has lost his mother at birth, has had no mother figure in life but still is a mother's boy? You're not even trying to make sense.

You're refusing to be friends with someone just because they won't date you? Jill's not the bitch in that scenario.
No, you missed the point completely. After the mc saves her from completely humiliating herself at the concert, she humiliates him in a very public dumping.

A girl has every right to accept or decline a guy, but to humiliate a guy like that, should only be if he deserves it.

Of course if he'd been fucking every other girl on campus, including Bella... :sneaky:

Maya and MC were on a romantic date. Watching movies with no one else around is just Maya's thing. Again, she is weird so she may be interested in mothers, but a woman you're dating in rl is not going to do that. And if you do, it certainly won't be a turn on and that was the original point. If you're ready for marriage ok, but we are talking about the dating stages that MC is currently at. Mother talk = Atacama desert.

 I suppose that's true. I wasn't really interested in Jill even when playing her path (while romancing others too), so it never bothered me that much when I got rejected. I just ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and left and then thought...guess I'll go fuck her best friend.

What does annoy me is the rejection based upon not going to Jill picnic instead of taking care of a sick friend. Most players I've seen also feel the same way about that. It's not one of the better logic moments in game.

Because women make good friends. Some of my best friends are women. I always tell my daughter to never date a guy who doesn't have at least a couple female friends. It's a big fucking red flag.
It's stupid. Perhaps the difference of cultures affects here, but we in Russia do not think so. Imagine. At night in the cold, your car stalled. You need help. You're calling a female friend and a male friend. Who is more willing to come to the rescue? Obviously a man. Of course, I myself sometimes go to cafes with guys and girls, but I can't call girls friends.
A friend for me is someone who is ready at any moment - at night or during the day, when it's warm or cold - to come to the rescue. Will a woman go with me to beat the muzzles? Will it help with the repair of the car?

I think you might be conflating the term "friend" with the term "ally." Friendship does not have to be so transactional. Read Plato's Symposium under the heading of "phile" for the love that comes from common interests and sharing wisdom.

I was going to refute that but after thinking it through, you're kinda right. Despite not chasing relationships, I did end up being buddies with enough girls to count on both hands and beyond that if we start including friendly acquaintances.
I dunno about red flags but it would certainly be weird to not have at least a couple female friends.
