Really? As you noted, the MC's nascent relationships are beset with dangers (except maybe for Jill's, which is merely riddled with them). I don't think we *need* Zoey to instigate drama.
I never said Zoey would be a minor event. I said the MC can't just abandon his new girl because Zoey bats her eyelashes at him, and I stand by that.
First, this isn't real life. It's a story. If the MC keeps repeating the same arc over and over again, the story gets boring. Season 1 and Season 2 both ended with the MC deciding he needed to take a potential relationship seriously and not act on autopilot. If he goes right back on autopilot the instant he sees Zoey, well, you don't need me to do the math.
Second, I'm not sure real life is all that different. If I commit to a girl only to immediately backtrack over an old flame, I think she would be right to question my sincerity.
But again, we're explicitly told Zoey is still in school at the start of the Interlude: it's the reason she can't visit her grandmother.
Unless we think Zoey was signed up for summer school, this takes place during the MC's senior year in high school. This can't be the tail end of his senior year, because then there isn't enough time for him to have lost contact with her 6 months before Episode 3. It can't be his junior year, or else it would be more than a year before he could join Zoey (and, you know, the age thing). This has to be in the fall semester, which technically matches the retconned timeline.
As for Zoey being a bitch, the whole point of the Interlude is that she ignored what she had in search of greener grass. She felt like she needed to prove herself to her grandmother and had a pile of money burning a hole in her pocket. Waiting for the MC (when she didn't even realize how much he meant to her) was the adult move, but Zoey was still young and naive.
I'd say the real question is what Zoey learned from her time in San Diego, but we'll have to wait until at least Episode 9 to learn that.
I expect we'll get updates on Friday fairly routinely, if that's what you mean. I very much doubt DPC will return to regular render counts.
The caption isn't talking about the branch (the choice of girlfriend during the crossroads breakfast scene), it's talking about who the MC slept with during the run. The middle image is if the MC slept with Sage OR slept with Jade. Did your "Others" path save fool around with either of those two (even if he didn't ultimately pick Sage)?
It's a rather significant distinction, both in terms of our expectations and in terms of how the MC sees Zoey. The issue isn't the MC moving on, it's him assuming that Zoey had a long term partner based on learning she fucked a guy. If the MC had a history of conflating sex and love that would make sense, but that's one thing the MC does not seem to have a problem with.
In the short term? No, definitely not. Jade is not the most well adjusted person and the MC's "betrayal" is pushing a very sensitive button. In the long term? She still probably won't be as gracious and introspective as Bella was, but I expect Jade would grudgingly appreciate the MC taking a relationship with Sage seriously (not that she'd tell him so).

This might not be the case (unless one of my saves is bugged). In one of my saves where I pursue Sage initially and fuck all the side girls (Including Jade) but chose not to commit to Sage at the end of crossroads, I ended up getting the middle image (eyes are closed no hand on neck). But using that exact save and choosing to commit to Sage and end things with Jade I got the Image where he has his eyes closed and his hand around his neck.

You are right I absolutely don't care ( Fuckface ) since they are part of Zoeys story... ( if we want to force here the rooster cluck then let's do it... but I won't change my mind by that time the cluck happens the two are history )
As this happens in real life too if you leave out the opportunities you seal your deal for your future... so I don't think this new flame between Bret - Emma will last for long ( besides this new flame is circumstantial !!! ) Even at the time when you bring them back together Bret is looking at Zoey.....

That could be the case. I don't interact with others enough to tell if that's how its supposed to be. I tend to lurk and haven't seen anyone with conflicting cases.

I liked the interlude but the depression of having to wait till fking november to see the next update is beginning to dawn on me. I really wish this was released with the next update so I don't get blue balls.

E7 is the most basic of basics. lol
But, I was just attempting to be funny...as the story goes, she supposedly wasn't making any chords and was making noise, and her finger positions in the render were actually making a chord that most guitar players would know, even at least at an intermediate level. I was self-taught, and I did it before internet was really a thing. Though it existed..just wasn't as commonly used as it is these days. Anywho...joke attempted, yet failed. lol
I just picked my guitar up and played it and it sounds like ass with the open strings played. lol.....but raising the 3rd fret on the B to the 4th fret, ...EMaj7...now that's music.
But, I prefer the brighter tones over the darkness...so there's that. A theory discussion on a porn site...who'da thunk it? lmao
The 4th on the A string is always going to be difficult with the major third in there, but it works a lot better with a major 7th. Dominant chords work much better with a #11. So do major 7th's, honestly. You want to avoid any chance of a minor 9th, such as between a major 3rd and a natural 11th. That's why jazz players love the Lydian dominant scale so much!
Still depends on the bass player, though!

Honestly, given how incredibly petty Jade acts if you reject her, I'm more interested in seeing her reaction to an MC that's pursuing Bella. That might just upset more than a player who's with Sage lol.

That's the question, which means at some point we're gonna have to hear the answer. Despite seeing Zoey's arc of choices from beginning to end, we don't actually know what her motivations are in the story at this point. We can only deduce with meta knowledge that Zoey is back to reconnect with the MC, because it's a game that revolves around the MC. In the actual narrative, we don't know how she really feels about the MC or how she's doing to resolve that and move on with her life, which again is something we're going to have to see, otherwise the hour-long mandatory viewing of her life story is going to be very out of place once the game completes. It's the same thing with Maya's story, we're forced to be at least peripherally involved in her drama with her dad, which means we're gonna have to see the resolution of that arc whether we like it or not, otherwise it turns into a pointless narrative loose end and a waste of time.
So yeah, look forward to more forced drama with the MC finding out Zoey never thought they were together and had no boyfriend and Zoey being like oh nooo I didn't know you liked me somehow haha and then you either bang her or reject her like the ep 8 finale

Instead of continuing to make larger and larger downloads, DPC decided to release each future chapter as a new file. The save at the end of chapter two is transferred to the new program.
