Here she is... God I shouldn't be in love with a fictional character...
Wow, take it easy, Sage! No need to curb stomp Zoey's previews from the Interlude this badly!
Really? As you noted, the MC's nascent relationships are beset with dangers (except maybe for Jill's, which is merely riddled with them). I don't think we *need* Zoey to instigate drama.Considering that the basis of romantic relationships in the game are love triangles and relationship problems in the third season are likely to be guaranteed. That's when Zoey will show up (in my opinion). MС quarreled with Jill for some stupid reason, he will suffer and then Zoey will come to him to comfort him. A girl for consolation is of course a banal plot device, but this is the only way I see an opportunity to create drama and tension in season 3.
I never said Zoey would be a minor event. I said the MC can't just abandon his new girl because Zoey bats her eyelashes at him, and I stand by that.in real life it works like this... in that moment: "insert name of your choice" is the woman of his life, the moment Zoey arrives everything changes, because his life changes and he has to take it into account.
Mc is not a robot, the return of his first love, this time willing to a relationship, is not a minor event.
But again, we're explicitly told Zoey is still in school at the start of the Interlude: it's the reason she can't visit her grandmother.since the interlude is the last "chapter" I have to assume that it is worth more than what was said before that could be "retconned" again, it takes precedence.
at the beginning of her experience in San diego, Zoey consoles herself thinking that in the end Mc will be able to join her in a little less than a year (Zoey's thoughts), this means that MC's academic year is yet to start or at the most it has just started
then we know that at the end of the school Mc doesn't reach her and decides for college. there is no way that their separation lasted less than a year storywise
but going further: Zoey, what kind of a bitch would she be not to wait a couple of months for MC to finish high school? she still has the whole summer ahead of her to learn how to surf. it would be extremely selfish.
I expect we'll get updates on Friday fairly routinely, if that's what you mean. I very much doubt DPC will return to regular render counts.Wow, blast from the past. I haven't seen that image in a while. Great outfit. Season 1 renders are better than I remembered. Might need a new canon playthrough to experience it all again. Why not. There is plenty of time until the next episode. I wonder if regular Friday updates will return this week.
The caption isn't talking about the branch (the choice of girlfriend during the crossroads breakfast scene), it's talking about who the MC slept with during the run. The middle image is if the MC slept with Sage OR slept with Jade. Did your "Others" path save fool around with either of those two (even if he didn't ultimately pick Sage)? But this doesn't make sense to me, I have two saved, one with Sage where I have the last expression and one with the "other" path where I have the middle expression.
It's a rather significant distinction, both in terms of our expectations and in terms of how the MC sees Zoey. The issue isn't the MC moving on, it's him assuming that Zoey had a long term partner based on learning she fucked a guy. If the MC had a history of conflating sex and love that would make sense, but that's one thing the MC does not seem to have a problem with.Because its a meaningless distinction in the situation. A person he didn't know was a friend or more moved far away, was starting to talk to him less and either got a boyfriend or was fucking someone so had moved on so he did the same.
In the short term? No, definitely not. Jade is not the most well adjusted person and the MC's "betrayal" is pushing a very sensitive button. In the long term? She still probably won't be as gracious and introspective as Bella was, but I expect Jade would grudgingly appreciate the MC taking a relationship with Sage seriously (not that she'd tell him so).should Jade find out that MC left her for her daughter would she really be so cruel as to want to destroy her daughter's relationship or would she rather have a reaction similar to Bella's when she finds out MC leaves her to be with Jill (another probably overrated drama)?
Like the two last episodes, Sage got the first preview.

She has a habit of making me second guess who my favorite main girl is.Wow, take it easy, Sage! No need to curb stomp Zoey's previews from the Interlude this badly!
This might not be the case (unless one of my saves is bugged). In one of my saves where I pursue Sage initially and fuck all the side girls (Including Jade) but chose not to commit to Sage at the end of crossroads, I ended up getting the middle image (eyes are closed no hand on neck). But using that exact save and choosing to commit to Sage and end things with Jade I got the Image where he has his eyes closed and his hand around his neck. The caption isn't talking about the branch (the choice of girlfriend during the crossroads breakfast scene), it's talking about who the MC slept with during the run. So "sleep with Jade" and "pick Sage's branch" are the variables? That would make sense. This might not be the case (unless one of my saves is bugged). The hell do you think save states are for ???I just want to make sure I at least get to marry Quinn, before I potentially cause Isabella to commit suicide or make her kill everyone I've ever fucked.
You are right I absolutely don't care ( Fuckface ) since they are part of Zoeys story... ( if we want to force here the rooster cluck then let's do it... but I won't change my mind by that time the cluck happens the two are history )I know what most people don't care about Emma and Bret since they are brand new characters but what do you guys predict will happen to the two of them in the future. I feel like they kinda represent the worst case scenario of what could happen in a "Zoey route- bad end".

I added TXT.
That could be the case. I don't interact with others enough to tell if that's how its supposed to be. I tend to lurk and haven't seen anyone with conflicting cases. So "sleep with Jade" and "pick Sage's branch" are the variables? That would make sense.
Not a haircut, just tied up.Like the two last episodes, Sage got the first preview.
Love her new haircut.
Have you answered this completely unbiased poll?10/10 VN. Probably my favourite so far.
Even if Tremolo agreed, I have a feeling she'd have a hard time finding a guy who would want to be the other end of the spit roast if Tremolo's 3rd leg is involved! She looks like she is asking for MMF threesome.
E7 is the most basic of basics. lol
But, I was just attempting to be funny...as the story goes, she supposedly wasn't making any chords and was making noise, and her finger positions in the render were actually making a chord that most guitar players would know, even at least at an intermediate level. I was self-taught, and I did it before internet was really a thing. Though it existed..just wasn't as commonly used as it is these days. Anywho...joke attempted, yet failed. lol
I just picked my guitar up and played it and it sounds like ass with the open strings played. lol.....but raising the 3rd fret on the B to the 4th fret, ...EMaj7...now that's music.
But, I prefer the brighter tones over the darkness...so there's that. A theory discussion on a porn site...who'da thunk it? lmao
Honestly, given how incredibly petty Jade acts if you reject her, I'm more interested in seeing her reaction to an MC that's pursuing Bella. That might just upset more than a player who's with Sage lol.you wrote better what I had hastily written.
the driving force of DPC's events is usually the sense of guilt (we had a small appetizer at the end of the interlude, where we already see an MC reflecting on his mistakes) rather than guilt itself.
sooner or later the eventual love triangle with mother and daughter will come to light and MC after having to absorb Jade's accusations via text message will have to face Sage's anger (hopefully there won't be many other choices/game over in the story...)
absurdly, Jade is more dangerous to MC in regards to any other LIs than Sage. how would she react if she ever found out she was dumped for Bella? the same woman her husband has a fixation on....
I see "more realistic" Jade trying to thwart MC in his relationship with Maya, or Josy or maybe even Jill, than for her daughter
maybe it would have been enough to better articulate the passing of time, the interlude of his could not be more extended, but it does not give a precise idea of the time that passes, it could have happened in a week as well as in a year (about my confusion about the time ...)
instead the narration, especially regarding the sentimental evolution, proceeds in jumps, she hopes that MC will reach her, then suddenly she decides that it is better to let him go and then suddenly she wants to be let go from this life that she imagined different (but what exactly did Zoey expect? to become world champion of surfing in one season?)
and this rapidity in the story makes Zoey look like a vicious child who constantly runs away from problems without ever knowing what she really wants, if we want also believable, but certainly not a particularly well-deserving portrait

First, this isn't real life. It's a story. If the MC keeps repeating the same arc over and over again, the story gets boring. Season 1 and Season 2 both ended with the MC deciding he needed to take a potential relationship seriously and not act on autopilot. If he goes right back on autopilot the instant he sees Zoey, well, you don't need me to do the math.
Second, I'm not sure real life is all that different. If I commit to a girl only to immediately backtrack over an old flame, I think she would be right to question my sincerity.
But again, we're explicitly told Zoey is still in school at the start of the Interlude: it's the reason she can't visit her grandmother.

Unless we think Zoey was signed up for summer school, this takes place during the MC's senior year in high school. This can't be the tail end of his senior year, because then there isn't enough time for him to have lost contact with her 6 months before Episode 3. It can't be his junior year, or else it would be more than a year before he could join Zoey (and, you know, the age thing). This has to be in the fall semester, which technically matches the retconned timeline.
As for Zoey being a bitch, the whole point of the Interlude is that she ignored what she had in search of greener grass. She felt like she needed to prove herself to her grandmother and had a pile of money burning a hole in her pocket. Waiting for the MC (when she didn't even realize how much he meant to her) was the adult move, but Zoey was still young and naive.
I'd say the real question is what Zoey learned from her time in San Diego, but we'll have to wait until at least Episode 9 to learn that.

That's the question, which means at some point we're gonna have to hear the answer. Despite seeing Zoey's arc of choices from beginning to end, we don't actually know what her motivations are in the story at this point. We can only deduce with meta knowledge that Zoey is back to reconnect with the MC, because it's a game that revolves around the MC. In the actual narrative, we don't know how she really feels about the MC or how she's doing to resolve that and move on with her life, which again is something we're going to have to see, otherwise the hour-long mandatory viewing of her life story is going to be very out of place once the game completes. It's the same thing with Maya's story, we're forced to be at least peripherally involved in her drama with her dad, which means we're gonna have to see the resolution of that arc whether we like it or not, otherwise it turns into a pointless narrative loose end and a waste of time.As for Zoey being a bitch, the whole point of the Interlude is that she ignored what she had in search of greener grass. I have a feeling you want to say something... could it be ZOEY ???
Instead of continuing to make larger and larger downloads, DPC decided to release each future chapter as a new file. The save at the end of chapter two is transferred to the new program.is this other part? like i can't merge it to main story or something?
