I think I'm still back at ep. 5 or 6 with Josy. My Others path is stuck at ep. 8 beginning. Lost interest in all of it for a while.
Make it a "SAW" type movie premise with chained Zoya/Madame dildo fucking each other in a burning house (first one to get off three times gets the key to leave) and you've got yourself a deal.

I think Zoey is most of all a romantic antagonist for solo players. As you correctly noticed, if you play as Pink intended (namely, fuck everyone you see on your way), by the beginning of season 3 you will have unsolved issues with other girls. Sage is Jade and Quinn, Jill is Bella, Josie/Maya is Jill. But there are players who pursue one girl and deliberately refuse to have relationships with other girls. Pink understands that in order for these players to be interested in playing, it will be necessary to create another obstacle in the form of Zoya. The run of solo players is a boring and safe way without any drama. Zoey has to give them drama.
I don't think it can somehow play into Sage's story in the long run. Pink wrote in the Q&A that he trying to create a drama in the style of a "Roller coaster". The relationship with Sage illustrates all this wonderfully. Jade will create another "emotional swings". Therefore, I think that the relationship with Jade is canonical.
Technically, it might even be worse on the dramascale if you turn Jade down. If you ended it with Jade and then started dating her daughter, she already knows that you wanna do right by Sage. But if you turn her down and then start dating her daughter..hell knows no fury like a woman scorned...
I think it will be critical for Jade if we film video while fucking with Jade. This will then fall into the hands of Burke and will become one of the arguments in the divorce. Otherwise, everything is pretty clear. For sure Jade will try to say nasty things about MС Sage or seduce, but I think this is the maximum we can get. I'm leaning towards the version that Sage learns about MС and Jade not from Jade herself, but from a leaked video.
The few dozen people who post here aren’t typical of the wider audience. Yes most people here are going to play multiple paths, but the typical person is going to play through once maybe twice. I especially think the later people pick the game up, the longer it is, the less inclined they will be to replay. Especially if they are only into one or two of the main LIs. I only completed Acting Lessons once, because it once completed, I understood the story, and wasn’t motivated tosave the other girl because who has the time?
At the end of Interlude Zoey makes it pretty clear that one of the driving factors to going home is getting her some MC dick. Yes, there will probably be an option to friendzone her, but that doesn’t mean she won’t try to get some. Yes all of the routes have got some potential drama. But let’s not forget the other’s route has prostitution, drugs, and probably undercover cops. Zoey Isn’t needed there either. (And if the original post was about being truly single, having fucked no one, then I think that’s even less likely, I’ve got around a dozen saves and that’s not one)That's the part I dont understand, every choice to commit to any of the paths already has an antagonist build in that has been growing naturally as the game got updated. You cant choose Bella and not upset Jill or vice versa. If you choose Sage you have the Jade and a possible Quinn conflict. If you choose Maya/Josy you have Patrick and Tommy. I just dont see why Zoey has to be thrown in as an extra threat, when there is plenty of room for her as either a BFF if the MC commited to a girl or available as a path if the MC is single. I always thought the MC is in desperate need of a true BFF, derek is awesome and loyal to a fault, but he's not really a problem solver.
Zoey and MC were always outsiders together, she isn’t going to care about upsetting people around MC especially if you set her up as DIK in Interlude.
No one is talking about forcing anyone. I don’t think there is a single point in the game where you’re forced in to a relationship scene. I don’t think that will change now. Instead, i imagine, she will come on to the MC he’ll have to reject her (Or not). MC might get caught with her coming on to him and have to explain it to his girl, that sort of melodrama that the game has done constantly since the start.
