where did Bella's husband James go? from the sound of it sounds like he left her for a long time the way Bella makes it sound
Bella hacked him to death with an ax (which can be found in her garage), embalmed him and cut him into pieces, which she keeps in a locked room. Bella is now hallucinating James. This explains her cold glassy look.... And much more in Episode 12:D

What you describe here is Crenshaw's intersectional feminism, which is concerned with "equity" not equality: equity being defined as systems righting the wrongs of past discrimination. Simone de Beauvoir, for one, would disagree.

Definitions here are imprecise: Real-life DIKs can be just as manipulative as the CHICKs, more so if it motivates the ego enough. Also, not sure a CHICK MC would classify himself as a feminist, based on the dialogue in the game regardless of his sincerity.
Yeah, I don't think that MC was given the opportunity to explore his views or even have his opinions challenged in the gender studies class. He certainly didn't learn anything other than that his instructor is perfectly fine with sexual harassment in the workplace so long as she holds the power. He was just kind of turned into a straw man and used as a punching bag when he wasn't just serving as an unpaid therapist for his classmates. I actually think that Derek got more out of the class than he did LOL.

I see CHICK differently. An adult considers possible consequences when making decisions and acts accordingly.

DIK Tommy: With Tommy as president, there would be no more DIK Mansion because he would have just given up. Like a spoiled child lying on the floor screaming and kicking because he can't get ice cream from mom and dad.

NEUTRAL Rusty: He's not an adult yet. But through the MC's speech, Rusty begins to think about himself and realizes that he has been living in this bubble. He develops the ambition to change and become an adult.

CHICK MC: The problem is actually that he grew up too fast. His decision to drop out of high school and not go to San Diego with Zoey clearly shows that. He was shaped by the hardships and bullying in his childhood. He learned early on that he had to work hard to earn something. That's why everyone invites the MC to drink at EP8's dorm party. This is also how he learns to be easygoing and have fun. He goes dancing to Tommy or just starts dancing in the chill zone. The MC starts to learn that there are times when he can be a kid.

There is a difference between a CHICK man (MC) who acts like a kid for a few hours and an adult DIK man who acts like a defiant kid (Tommy). NEUTRAL is just the way to adulthood and cannot be the end of the road. That's why the Major Choice changed in EP8.

DIK/NEUTRAL or NEUTRAL/CHICK. So a DIK who can make a semi-sane decision, or a CHICK who can make a non-serious decision.

In Neil's case, we can see what happens when the MC is DIK and NEUTRAL for too long. Neil was not a chick at the age of 24. In the present he is because he had to be, but his life was full of hardships when Lynette died.
You have such a wrong take on all of this. :ROFLMAO:
Especially this unusually method that you want to label all of the other characters in these spectrum that only define MC

But also funny how you try to paint it that Chick mc is the only that apply to to the Base plot:ROFLMAO:

"CHICK MC: The problem is actually that he grew up too fast. His decision to drop out of high school and not go to San Diego with Zoey clearly shows that. This part is not an exclusive chick MC, this is the base MC, regardless of any affinity. :ROFLMAO:.

Chick mc
- is the one who talk big from the balcony, but walk away like a pussy when Caleb show up:p
- walk away, when Tybalt bitch slap him:p
- Two naked chick standing if front of him, and he ask for privacy
- barely participating in Hell week, lets Derek do all the stuff, and he just a freeloader.
- Chasing multiple main girl, yet he's feelings is the only thing that should matter, he is the victim, its feels more hypocrite from him , than a Dik player:p
- creepy shower scene with Jill. " Is this what I think it is " Creep. :ROFLMAO:

Chick, does not feel organic at all , beside 2 major choice.
The only reason people take this road because it's necessary for some of the stupid game mechanic system.
It doesn't make him automatically better character, person, or more mature. :ROFLMAO:

Read back the nearly 200000 posts to see this is a during discussion in this thread. Some say he is dead, others he will return in one of the following episodes. Stay tuned for more drama about Bella and feel free to share your thoughts about that topic.
I think he left due to cheating whether it was Bella that cheated(doubt it as people claim it was with Jill) but Bella don't seem like that type of woman(well unless you count her meeting MC) I think it was James that cheated and they got into a huge fight about it (maybe it was James and Jill) that's why Bella is way overprotective of Jill esp when it comes to Men so Bella kicked James out and after awhile Bella is/was starting to feel regret about doing that that's why we hear her say please come home or why won't you come back Bella deff caught James making advances on Jill (prob because Bella is a virgin and wouldn't have sex with James so James thought her could get lucky with Jill instead that's why both women were hestain with MC when MC was making moves on them

that's my theory at least Bella didn't cheat but it was James that did think of it the way Jade found out in Ep2 or 3 where we see Jade throwing stuff at HER Husband not to mention Jade's husband was also trying to hit on Bella by asking her to dinner I think that's what happened to James and Bella the same out come with Jade and her Husband

That is the beauty of BaDIK. The player can decide for himself what he wants to have. Either a porn game where the goal is to fuck as many girls as possible, or an adult VN with intimate content.

So DIK, NEUTRAL or CHICK.

DIK<>KID: A kid in a young man's body who thinks he's the greatest, but isn't.
NEUTRAL: The transition from teenager to adult.
CHICK: An adult.

The path is actually set, isn't it? We start as a DIK, then go on to transformation to an adult, and then we should actually have an adult MC at some point.
Oh, these Chick players who want to convince others that only their way is the most correct and worthy.
Dik is a self-sufficient path, he is the complete opposite of Chick, but in contrast complements the stories of depth. This is the same as saying that water is real beauty and greatness, and fire is only destruction and death. Dude, fire allowed our ancestors to survive! Fire was the cause of Prometheus' torment.
The fact that you are faithful to only one girl does not automatically make you older or better than someone.
Does Tony Stark behave like a child? Definitely.
Is he fucking awesome?
Fucking yes. Tony Stark is bigger than any other character from a fucking Marvel movie, he's the reason why movies have become popular in general. Tony Stark is fucking MASSIVE DIK. Captain Americf is fucking MASSIVE CHICK.
To be honest, Chick is the biggest hypocrite in the game. At the end of episode 8, you can make absolutely all the main girls suffer. Yes, you can say that you shouldn't play like that, but the fucking game allows you to do so. If Pink didn't want us to play like this, he would have punished the fucking Chick player playing like Dik. But he doesn't punish the bitch!
Therefore, Chick is a fucking hypocrite who pretends to be a chick and a proper good guy, in fact an ordinary confused guy who does not know what he wants. There's nothing here that makes a guy mature or wise.

Not entirely true...

DIK : an asshole to almost any human beings " girls " might find this appealing at first but it has an expiration date... that every boy wants to be him is only partially true sure that the attention from the girls are a forte but I would not say that everybody wants to be an asshole to achieve that

NEUTRAL : it's the natural thing that we all face some kinda choices and sometimes you need to be an arse... but it's not who you really are so the scale gets balanced by softie choices as well... please one of those who think of themselves as DIK or CHICK would you kindly enlighten me how can you pass lifes hurdles with being one and not the other at the same time from time to time ?:LOL: In RL I mean...

CHICK : considering this game this passes as it is... but as in RL hardly... and how the fuck does a pussy become a " predator " ???:ROFLMAO: Besides... isn't it the DIK choice girls regret when they get a little bit more mature ? :p:whistle:
I feel like you guys play some very different game. :ROFLMAO:.

Yeah, totally. Gender studies was a comedic storyline, not a character-defining arc.

It's a mixture what DPC does... ;)
of all the things he done, this forced " morality " system is definitely the weakest part of the game.
Instead of the Follow your heart, it should be Follow the Mechanical System.
it is still not as bad as the our red string overly complicated system, but its still bad overall. We just learned to accept it.

But you can't force a moral debate, when it's a system that determine it, that often based on choices that characters should not even know.
Jill getting upset over me for picking Sage, I can understand. Jill dumping me, because she feel an invisible aura around me based on choices that has nothing to do with her, is the Bullshit system. :ROFLMAO:

As a CHICK player, I agree. The story DPC has written assumes DIK tendencies. If the story were written with Massive CHICK MCs in mind, the game would be classified a Hallmark movie.

The walking away from conflict stuff goes back to MC's conversation with Sage about his code in martial arts. Anyone trained in self-defense, firearms or not, is taught that the best fights are the ones you avoid. So that, I don't mind.

For the record, I don't reach into Jill's shower, that is a bit creepy.

there are two major choices that are morally questionable and they are both ones that have to do with Quinn, the restaurant and the rooftop drugs, both of which become very dangerous as the story progresses

but avoid those two the others are nothing to shake your wrists over, is accepting Jade's advances so much more wrong than accepting Bella's? is having fun at pink rose so much worse than jumping naked on a college guard? is confronting the Jocks so much worse than going to spy on Chad?

I think MC perfectly justify that you make a stand and draw the lines. Even though he "considered" as "breaking a rule ".

I had more problem with the fact that the plot make me lose no matter what. I hope when the inevitable fight with Caleb happens, DPC won't pull an another stupid bullshit where I lose for the plot.:ROFLMAO:

I was actually thinking the Restaurant, and the Elder home work. The later one, is simply the better choice, you make more money which is the priority.

Weed is not a big deal, Heroin would been different.
But the Rest I agree(y)

Never knew you are scripted to lose that fight. I guess the part in ep8 when MC thinks about fight Caleb and punching the bag makes more sense now. Don't count on DPC and his questionable plot choices though. If it were me, I wouldn't have done the sleep humping with Jill in ep3.

and it even confirms that James cheated because if you stayed with Bella after the whole Josey/Maya deal while your in the pool with Bella reading her thoughts she says this

MC: I didn't think I needed a hug like this...
Isabella:
(I needed a hug like this...)
Isabella:
(why can't I stop thinking these dirty thoughts about him...?)
Isabella:
(All these words that I'd never dare tell him...)
Isabella:
(It's adultery...isn't it?)
Isabella:
(Can I just decide to move on?) that's important
Isabella:
(What if James comes home?) also an important one this next thought if VERY IMPORTANT and VERY INTRESTING THOUGHT
Isabella:
(would James BLAME ME if I did THIS?) again that right there tells me big time that James did in fact cheated on Bella
Isabella:
(After all this time?)key role there and also this next ling even confirms that he REALLY did cheat
Isabella:
(I have FORGIVEN HIM) James cheated on Bella (with Jill?)or with Cathy or Jade? money is on Jill
Isabella:
(It's just an urge, Bella...)
Isabella:
(It's like...like...like a sneeze!)
Isabella:
(You just need to hold it in...)
Isabella:
(Who am I kidding...?)
Isabella:
(You can't hold a sneeze in...)
isabella:
(Not when the urge is this Big...)
Isabella:
(I'm...going to do it...)
Isabella:
(I need to do it...)
Isabella:
(it's time to do it) again this right here states that she never had sex with her own husband but is willing to let MC take her

these were Bella's thoughts during the pool part it confirms that James did, in fact, cheat even the song playing says please darling come back so thats my thought on James and Bella he cheated and just like Jade Bella and James had a fight and he either left or Bella kicked him out (he prob left) just like Jade is doing Bella is finding herself through MC both Jade and Bella are realizing just how much they miss being desired
