Season 1 to learn the story from the beginning
Can we have the inevitable modded save fix/workaround link in the OP when it becomes available?
I'll buy the game for an AAA price on Steam when DPC finishes it. I've been burned too many times by preorders, early access, kickstarter etc over the last decade to buy any game before it's done ever again. I follow the development of BADIK because it interests me, but I have doubts that DPC will finish the game. At his current rate, the game won't be complete until 2029-2030 as we still have 7 more episodes to go (that's 7 more years at current dev time). We are moving into Star Citizen levels of delays.
I do believe solo devs deserve support to help take their projects to completion, so those patreons that have only 50 to 100 backers, support them if you think they have the stuff to make a decent game. But DPC has fully financed BaDIK many MANY times over. It's fully backed, it doesn't need any more money. When he completes it, I'll buy it. Until then, I'll follow its development as it's quite the entertaining journey so far.

You can't start from Season 3. You have to import saves from the end of Season 2.
You have no choice, the game does not allow you to simulate past seasons. If you use other players' saves, you won't understand who is who, what are the plots, and so on.
It's better to play from the start.

No one knows; the choice shapes Zoey's personality (either DIK or CHICK) so it's up to you if you want her to be compatible with your MC, or not.

This is one of the few games I'd actually say where you miss out if you don't play. Not just the porn, or the story. The GAMEPLAY is fun and rewarding. The are good minigames (and a few terrible ones), funny moments, quality writing and staging and yes tons of erotic scenes.
It really is a stupid question, yes, you need to play season 1 and 2 for your sake.
The good news though, is that you can go play those and relax, while the rest of us pull our hair out waiting for the current release.

i havent slept with either of those. plus the deal to get a slap in front of diks also happens if ya only helpout with the underwear. without having sex with em.
Bella only sleeps over if ya helped her fences and are in a semi relation with her.
as for the rest, Sage also says that you shared some intimate details about ur birthday, even when ya let her sleep and dont have the conversation with her.
as for Josy, yes even though she only sleeps with ya (Without sex) the diks still asume ya had sex with her.
my latest playthrough was the totaly single route, no sleeping, no sex, no kissing, no flirting, only 2 or 3 minor dik choises, the rest chick choises (Major and minor)
so hence i know whats what (and yeah even then the pregnancy test showed, thats why im asuming its either tight to events in our mom's diary, or DPC asumed noone would go for the single life on one of their playthroughs.
