So about basement and keys, yes its as mentioned here above.
The Keys
1. 697 is the code for the freezer (chop in mid for number)
2. it will be present in the green slime (entrance door for clue)
3. go inside the cage. press up.. move ur cursor and u ll find the key attachd to a horizontal bar..it will be highlighted when you hover the mouse in the middle of the screen
I want to add it is imperative to turn around and CHECK paper on entrance door, click on it. It not straitforward as in scene before, MC checks out , so yes you need to check it again for clues about goo and cage. Then it works as intended. from here.
