In, I think it was Episode 7, when you have to decide between visiting eiter Maya or Josy, Josy is a no brainer.

Maya just stayed in the same dorm room she has occupied all semester, whereas Josy has to move again into a new environment, she still has to pay for half of Maya's dorm room and has to cope with Patrick still being a threat.

Josy clearly needs the MC way more and if you visit Maya, all you do is watch a movie, but with Josy you have some interaction with other HoT's and more of a personal talk with Josy.

On the other hand, in Episode 10 everything points to Maya. She has the much harder time accepting the lie the MC had to come up with to protect the girls secret. It's also Maya who learns about Mel's throuple relationship and the MC has to go to Maya's home to get the contract, so again an absolute no brainer.

It also may be very important for the MC to hear from Maya about how she never felt as comfortable with Josy as she does with the MC, so that he can adress it, and make sure it doesn't get out of hand and become a run-away problem.

Very simple reason. If the MC is on the throuple path, then he will have sex with Maya in EP7. However, the crucial thing is for the MC to give Maya a TV. Why?

In EP10, we find out what the DIKs are doing this Friday. A movie night. If Maya got the TV from the MC, she will not attend this movie night. This generates 2 possibilities for Maya in EP10. Either she is in her dorm watching TV or she has gone home to clean the Bailey house for Thanksgiving. It's even possible that Derek went home with her because he brought clothes in a garbage bag. Derek said that the garbage bag was used to transport the clothes.

Also, Josy doesn't need the MC in EP7 anymore than Maya does. That's totally wrong. In EP7, Maya needs the MC more because she is alone and not Josy. Josy makes friends with the HOTs. In EP10, the whole thing is reversed. Why? Oscar the idiot has made Josy doubt herself and the MC clearly shows Josy in EP10 that he loves her for who she is.

What Maya says in EP8 is also interesting. Her hand belongs to a princess and a prince. What are Josy and the MC building? A pillow fortress. Who lives in castles, palaces and fortresses? Princesses and princes.

It is important for the three-way relationship that the MC goes to Josy in EP5, to Maya in EP7 and back to Josy in EP10. If you don't want the three-way relationship, don't do it.
