It's more a simple lack of respect for women, which is baked into most of the game. I'm aware this is a porn game about a stereotypical college frat called the fucking DIKs, and it's mainly just to be funny, and some of it is to make MC look better by comparison. But since the characters are fleshed out well enough, it's a little less easy to dismiss.

Idk, ultimately I don't really care. My overall point is that Derek is a dumbass and doesn't exactly scream boyfriend material.
