I don't get the logic.
Clearly the story is meant to revolve around the 5 LI's. Fact DPC slowed production in a significant fashion to add a little variety resulting in practically everyone bitching and moaning about it (it was already slow with the insignificant and clunky animations that is, yes, one of the biggest factor in this). And here you are, preemptively moaning about not having more side trash included which will most certainly slow production even more.
I fail to imagine which reality you live in.

Really not care about Sally, so nothing changes for me. The only thing that worries me is whether I can maintain interest until the end of development, due to the cycles that are becoming longer and longer.

Sitting here all the time still gets boring, even when the game is fun. With such long development cycles, interesting topics for discussion quickly ends.
If waiting time will be 1.5 - 2 years, i doubt that i will stick here regular.

It has become a ritual at this point, same way I used to rewatch GoT before each new season, thanks D&D for ruining that for me!
You basically have to pay attention only your first run and then, especially if its not your first time replaying the game, or have the skip unread text unticked, you can mostly ctrl the common path.
Edit: Almost forgot to tell that I am still the only maniac still only playing minigames on, probably even faster if you play with them off.

Dalli believes each save is not only a different timeline/branching, but an alternative universe with entirely different personalities, backstories and fates.Very funny
I understand what Dalli is saying, but it doesn't apply in this circumstance. If I can fuck Jill in one playthrough, she doesn't automatically become a potential sibling in another playthrough just because I didn't touch her that time.
Kinda like games with futa on/off, that also changes the backstory(obviously) depending, or other kinks deciding if you get the loyal gf, or the town bicycle as the backstory. I don't think DPC writes branches like that at all, but will see.

You both make the point I was referring to.
If DPC wouldn't have obsessed with these poorly thought-out and executed tertiary plot devices, that bring practically nothing to main story. If he wouldn't be wasting as much time on those, maybe he'd have more time to properly write the main Maya drama plot properly. As well as make the secondary plots (Sage, Jill, Bella & Zoey) acceptable. But as it is, I doubt even Disney (already kings of shitty productions) would ever want to get near a story like this, if the script landed on their desk.
So sure it makes sense to ask for more garbage...
