If her birth mom doesn't show up and she never speaks of the divorce it's just past not story. I'm personally hoping Josy uses that life experience and opens up with Sage. It won't add story to her but it will enrich her character which she also needs.

Not to sound rude but I don't care if she loves Fuckface more than she loves Maya or loves him more than Maya does and I don't think that adds anything to get character or storyline.

So she's in the HOTs? So is Ashley, is Ashley important to the plot? Does she have an interesting story? Probably more than Josy so far actually. But still, irrelevant.

Did speak about her parents it in ep2 and we it again in ep5 Josy makes it pretty clear how much her dad means to her. I can only speak from point of view if someone don't like Josy story ok that your right but it is very close to Sage's. Josy still feels like her character so not really sure what more one could want but that just me.
Sometimes it sounds like people are waiting for Josy to become someone else I don't that going to end well

MC is the player character, the vessel in which we explore this story, it's a misconception that he's also the main protagonist.

Josy is a main the most important main girl at that added I am bias but still think that true. If Josy was missed handle I wouldn't like but other then ep3/4 I'm happy. I really think DPC made Josy and Maya girlfriends to start the game is because he realized just how unlikable Maya is it would be unplayable without Josy being there.

That just confirms that Quinn fails in everything she does, she fails as a drug dealer by not being careful enough when leaving the main dealer's base of operations and losing the money which she then tries to offset by going into Vinny's territory thinking that because she's only dealing with Lily then she has deniability but instead she gets Rio kidnapped, she fails as a pimp by overreaching with Maya and causing those above her in the foodchain problems. And now she fails as an antagonist too.

She also fails as a sorority vice president, so much that she not even want to be the next president anymore

Even without her getting robbed Lily was always going to attempt to go to her for drugs, Winnie got stupid and charged too much.

Riona got kidnapped because she's a fucking drug dealer, don't blame Quinn for Riona selling weed and sucking dick in bathroom stalls she made those decisions.

And I fully agree with Maya, it was a stupid fucking decision by Quinn and made her look like a fucking idiot.

Maya's entire plan was to join the HOTs only for free tuition, Quinn should have refused her, of course we'd have no game if she did that so I can forgive her idiot brain this one time.

It's still pretty much unplayable, the threesomes literally have to be tabbed because Maya's naked body is fucking vomit inducing. Josy's solo scenes do help out a lot, and Becky on that route is more interesting.

Can't really have a good antagonist if the protagonist needs to be perfect at every turn and can't make mistakes or look bad.

But that's a writing issue, not a Quinn issue.
