I got it from an article written by an MD but sure, it could be wrong.
As for the throuple, normally not. But she found herself in a weird situation being in love with 2 people who were also in love with each other.
I'm stating that realistically she wouldn't be into anal sex but I also acknowledge that this isn't a realistic game

That's right, the writing failures are noticeable. He's better at storytelling and working with emotions than writing, reminds me of Steven Moffat (Sherlock and Doctor Who writer and showrunner)

As far as the game goes, it would be nice to have a choice. Especially when there is a year or more between an update. Example: Sage path...you get good scenes up to EP7, then Ep8, if you don't set up the Quinn thing right, you get nothing. Then Ep9 shows up and it is prison-sex only for the big scene. So again, it would be nice to have a choice. Another example? EP10; prison sex only with Bella.
This is a small complaint given all the good things this game has to offer.

Having some actual research to back it up is nice, but I can't say I'm going to immediately accept that 90% of women have never ever tried anything with the ass.
Let me put it this way then: for this story, and its characters, Maya has grown quite realistically within the the world of Being a DIK. You see a pretty steady change in her to be more adventurous, and not just sexually. If you were to say that there should be something to bridge the gap between teasing her asshole in Episode 9, and full on anal sex in Episode 11, that'd be more reasonable than to say she shouldn't have any interest.

We don't see examples of Patrick's control in the game until episode 6. And then he didn't seem religious or strict.
Hell, he gives her money for clothes, she dresses like a slut with those miniskirts and open cleavage and Patrick doesn't care?
He could quietly demand to send her checks, check her closet regularly, but he doesn't do that and he doesn't control her.
What if this whole religious father thing is just an excuse for Maya to get rid of Josy and save face? For example, Maya has been fallen out of love with Josy for a long time, but she doesn't have the courage to leave her, so she makes up this nonsense about Patrick forbidding them to see each other?
Maya in the game doesn't seem like a girl who's under her father's control.
If you said she's a lesbian who realizes she's starting to like boys and starts exploring her heterosexuality, I'd agree with you. But she's clearly not under strict control.
We don't see any examples of control other than Patrick having keys to her dorm.

The first pic is when you broke up with Josy and Maya in Sage path. At the end of yhe first freeroam in episode 10 you will kiss Sage and Josy is close by and will see it. As far as I know it is only available in Sage path but I could be wrong
