I'd say emotional bonds are very important to her, but she was drooling after the strippers. So she does have a purely lustful side.

I'd say Maya is a slightly bi lesbian. She is very rarely attracted to guys, but often attracted to girls. Or she could be solidly bi but by chance none of the other guys she has met has been her type.
Entirely plausible, though it is possible to find someone to be physically attractive while not having any sexual attraction to them. They can be mutually exclusive to each other.

Just to me in that scene and the way it was describe, she just needs to have that deeper emotional bond with someone before entirely being able to enjoying the sexual experiences fully.

I just noticed something that I've only seen for the first time.

When you are talking to Derek and Thirsty Ghoul and Derek asks if you're seeing anyone there's a check.

If you are 'seeing/fucking' Nora, Lily, Nicole, Quinn or Jade - Tremolo responds with "Not dating, but I see the potential."
If you are 'seeing/fucking' Riona or no one - Tremolo responds with "I have literally nothing going on."

Why would Riona be left off the list?
The others already spoke my thoughts on the Riona question, so I'll focus on the part that gained my attention and seemingly no one else's. Are you saying that Jade alone can trigger the code for "potential"?

If we're following the Riona logic Spock drew up from reading my mind it means the character of Fuckface thinks there is a potential for a romantic relationship between him and Jade, and this is before the divorce papers are even written up. I know he can be a bit of an idiot but how does he see that possibility with all the obstacles in the way and the nature of their interactions?

It's not like with Bella with an absent and possibly dead husband, no kids to think of, and a best friend who is around the same age as her possible lover, who also has a well-founded friendship with the MC. Fuckface has barely any more meaningful social interactions with Jade than he has with the vending machine kid. Outside of class, all they really do is fuck like feral otters and then engage in some toxic af pillow talk.

Now that I've taken the time to write about it, I realize it's kind of inane and there's a high probability it won't matter down the line, but fuck it. This forum can handle my overthought discussion topics. We can always go back to the cycle of meme-offs and waifu wars, not to forget the unrelenting "where/when update", "how install", and "fix bug" posts.

To cap it off, does anybody see Fuckface and Jade having, not only a long-term but successful relationship arise after the divorce? For those who have played Acting Lessons, do you think it'll play out like it did with that MC's ex-wife?

I could be wrong, but I understood it as MC liking the idea of being Jade's personal boy toy. He has a relationship—as in a good thing going on for the forseeable future—with a sex-crazed milf, that's more tangible than casually hooking up with Riona.

It's like if I said you and I have a great working relationship because we do business together. Except for them, the business is sex :BootyTime:

Just done my Throuple - equal save, few notes i guess

Josy does feel like an afterthought at times, not in character (which is the common complaint), but interactions, for example the ep7 hangout, If you choose to hang with Maya, Tremolo takes a TV over so she can watch her movies which means a ton to her, she realises that she can genuinely get horny with Tremolo and enjoy sex and cum from it, which is massive as she continues to explore her sexuality (as she mentions to Sage at the halloween party that she isn't even sure what she is), Tremolo shares stuff about his mum.

Josy's hangout, they go swimming, talk about investing or something unimportant and fuck. As someone who enjoys the more intimate/emotional moments in the game over sex scenes, (which is why Sage is my favourite), it doesn't compare

The dorm party, Maya and Tremolo share an intimate kiss in public, before running off and having a long scene which shows Maya's playful side and shows her realising she enjoys sex where she can get caught, again expanding her character

Josy and Tremolo share a very intimate kiss (Much better than the one with Maya to be fair) and Josy learns to stand up for herself a bit more, which then isn't shown when Becky is being a cunt in episode 10.

The halloween party doesn't have a ton of character development. While Josy shows a bit of character development in her personality, Maya gets sexuality development, which i think makes sense as Maya's character is established pretty early on. As previously mentioned, Maya tells Sage that she doesn't know exactly what she is, she feels more comfortable with PDA with Tremolo, she again has risky sex with Tremolo.

Josy shows she probably has a bit of an exhibitionist side when she flashes her breast. There's also an aspect of her character that isn't established early on but isn't really explored throughout the game. Josy's family relationships, her relationship with her father is established to be very good early on, but then i feel like DPC shuts it down when Josy refuses to let Tremolo meet her parents with the excuse about them fucking in Episode 2, despite this being easy to explain away (it was a different boy, oh guess what this one knows Tommy). Having a great relationship with a supportive family would offer a different perspective and give Josy and Tremolo something to bond with, and offer something different since basically every main character in the game outside of Tremolo has beef with family. Also Josy is a very very horny person

She shows a nice dynamic in Episode 10, which perfectly juxstaposes if you break the throuple up. If you break it up, Maya is understanding and tries to move past it, in this case Maya is shellshocked and unsure, while Josy tries to see the positives and leans into it

But then the hangout thing happens again, Maya and Tremolo bond over movies again and have an intimate, emotional chat about their situation, about Josy, the relationship, thanksgiving, and they fuck

Josy and Tremolo bond over pillow forts (that sounds like i'm taking the piss, but it's genuinely cute), have what amounts to small talk, and then reminisce about having crushes on each other, which keeps coming up, even weeks/months into the throuple, and fuck

Within the context of the game, it feels like it has always been Josy is the lust in a relationship, and Maya has been the emotional/intimate side

That is the rambles of a man who is writing a dissertation on video game characters at 5am, so i apologise if i've missed something or i'm way off base

Agreed, the only positive I can see from the MC and Jade being together is torturing Tyballs. :KEK:

nope! What I see with MC and Jade is just release the steam and her getting revenge to her husband who was already fucked 3 college girls ( See my previous posts on who they might be). Plus! MC kinda wants children in the future if I remember correctly with the conversation with neil and talking with nora (Jade cant have children).

The whole reason she gets ultra pissed when you are dating sage and visit her family, its because you broke it off to date her daughter (consequences still may vary as Jade may expose or like she has said take the secret to their grave).

Also Bella does not have the weight that Jade has aside from where tf is her husband, but she has no qualms butting heads with Jill over you.

Sometimes in life a guy just wants to suckle on the teats of a beautiful big breasted blonde while calling her Mommy. MC just wants to live his best life don't try bring labels or define it as something more than it is. :KEK:

This has given me the thought that I should add a turn down Sage for Jade run to my list.

I agree with you on this one, there is no benefit being in a relationship with Jade other than mentally torturing Tyballs. Other than that it will all be negative, it will 100% destroy the relation ship of MC and Sage weather being a couple or friends. It can also cause a scandal in the University if they have known mc and Jade having an affair that can expel mc in the process

Anyway Ray_D this one is a genius read the 4th paragraph

Yep, any of them on their own will trigger 'potential'. I was quite stunned. Unless DPC made a mistake and it should have been Riona, but I doubt that as his play testing would/should have discovered it. I personally don't see a long term relationship as a possibility with the two, but she's not really my type, so I might be being biased. Meanwhile, I do see a long term with relationship with Rio as a possibility.

You've gone into detail about something I've thought a lot about regarding the throuple, especially since I'm on Episode 8 of my replay: Maya is love, Josy is lust, to make it oversimplified. Maya discovery, Josy adventure.
ep8_maya_lewd76.png ep8_party_josy2_event21.png
Ironically my statement is reversed here. Josy is heavy on the feels, while Maya is horny as hell :sneaky: I adore both scenes, with Elena and John Boy whispering about MC and Josy being a particular highlight. It's incredibly sweet, meanwhile all the goofing around before and during sex with Maya is just so much fun. It's also a big turning point for her, she is much bolder from here on out when it comes to sex.

Peak solo scenes :giggle:

I hadn't seen the "I have literally nothing going on." dialogue before. I tested my Zoey "virgin" path & apparently getting Nora's phone number counts. Despite only interacting with her on Swyper & helping her in the gym. DPC can't code every possibility & having certain situations trigger different dialogues. But in a perfect world, those 2 interactions wouldn't trigger the "potential" response.

My Zoey "virgin" path has Riona, Maya, & Nora available as potential paths at the start of ep. 10. With Nora & Riona able to "bust" the MCs cherry by ep. 10 end. And I'm on the path of breaking up the throuple with Maya being interested in the MC. I'll have to see how this path plays out. I may have to restart this save & be even harsher with my rejection of the girls.
